We had one of the one-bedroom south cottages that had a separate bedroom, full bathroom, full-size kitchen with all appliances and cooking accessories, and a living room with a nice TV and sofa. It was super clean and they were very nice. The pool was small but nice (no hot tub) and we thoroughly loved the back dock which sits on the bayside and was great for watching sunrises. The resort supplied an umbrella, towels and chairs for the beach. The island is so narrow at that point that you can watch a sunrise from the back dock in the morning and just walk across the street to the beach in the afternoon. The property was very well landscaped and we found it to be really quiet and quaint. Enjoyed having our own small porch to sit on and also having a parking space right in front of the cottage. The location is very close to Cortez Road bridge and right across from Cortez Beach. We could have walked to Bridge Street if we wanted to go for a little hike but time constraints prevented it. There are several restaurants within walking distance and the trolley stop is right in front of the property. We knew nothing about AMI when we booked the cottage but found that we liked this location much more than the crowded and hectic north end of the island. We said to each other many times that we could not believe we picked such a neat place with so much charm and personality. We have stayed in several beachside condos and much preferred this cottage experience.

We loved our space with living room kitchen, dining area, bedroom with king bed, large closest, and good size bathroom. They kept everything up so nicely. We loved that it is dog friendly, has a heated pool, fishing pier off back, and beach across the street. It is a good location, close to everything, and definitely an island getaway with a perfectly relaxing feel! So happy we found this place. We would recommend it to anyone. There are a number of different options depending on your size of group.

We had a few good days and went into Sarasota to ride out the storm, but about a third of the guests came back after they opened up the bridge. The Gulf Stream rooms are a lot nicer than Smuggler's Cove, but we have been to Smuggler's Cove twice and liked it. A great place to spend a vacation and if the ocean is rough, the pool is wonderful. The Publix nearby is awesome for groceries and there are a lot of great restaurants around.

The people that work here are friendly and nice, ready to accommodate almost anything. Our favorite bungalow #102, is perfect with only one draw back. The tub is a step up into tub with steep sides and slippery. We'd like to see the owners redo the tub/shower into an easy to step into shower stall with sliding glass doors. In our mid-70's the current tub is a problem for us to get in & out of. We still love this resort & especially this particular bungalow. We're coming back soon!

We were very fortunate to have had the opportunity to spend the…read more day/night at Seabreeze at Anna Maria Inn. It was a real treat, made us feel very special. For starters it was such a lovely location, our room was directly on the beach. We had a million dollar view and front row seats for God's handywork of a fantastic sunset. Earlier we spend time in the ocean, it was warm and delighful! In the evening, we went the sort distance to Anna Marie and enjoyed a wonderful dinner. The room was beautiful and inviting with king bed and magnifient bathroom. Lastly the staff was the best asset of the Inn. Ivan and Nicole were the best and demonstrated a high degree of customer service. They answered our many questions and helped us to get settled. I had made an error in booking ( be aware of the type of room you are booking from beach front to beach side). They worked very quickly to remidy my mistake. We plan to return later this summer for started.
