About a week into owning the couch, we had to have them come and repair a piece of fabric that was torn from the factory. They came and took care of that by replacing a whole piece of fabric on the back of the sofa. Not perfect, but much better. About 2 months after owning the couch (beige) we noticed that the places we sat all the time were starting to get dark. I do on occasion wear black pants and jeans. We assumed that it was a dye transfer from my pants. Long story short, we called the store, and we called the warranty company (where it states it covers dye transfer) We sent pictures, and they said it's dye transfer but it's not covered. We asked them to send someone down to look at the couch, but they would not. We now feel as though Lifestyle Furniture did not stand behind us or the furniture that they sold us. We checked with the BBB and according to them the warranty company only has a 1.3 rating. What company uses such a warranty company? So, we ended up having to buy another set (elsewhere). We lost the money we spent for the set we purchased from Lifestyle and We purchased an extended warranty that didn't warranty what it clearly said it would. The worst part is the fact that they refused to send someone out to look at it or try to rectify it. We are so sorry that we bought from this company and will never buy from them again. I called after 15 days to be told "I got an email today, they sent the wrong fabric they have to ship the correct fabric" when asked what could be done as far as overnight shipping or 2 day priority and compensation for the inconveience, I was then yelled at by salesman Mike, he continued to talk over me tell me he didn't appreciate my attitude etc. I proceeded to hang up the phone, I have never had such horrible customer service. I'm still waiting on a manager to call me back, I was told "she's at lunch till 1:30 yet when he called back it sounded like he had spoke with her briefed her on the situation and she was "handling everything from her." So not only was I yelled at by the salesperson but also probably lied to as well. I always deal with Babette's furniture in Leesburg for their exceptional customer service, and she recommended Blockers since it was closer to my home to pick up the fabric due to my tight timeline, I now regret ever dealing with Blockers furniture and will continue to deal with Babette's.
