After everything I've dealt with, I feel obligated to update my review of this apartment complex. First, terminating my lease due to military orders was far more difficult than it should have been. Despite providing proper documentation, I had to repeatedly email management and remind them of the legal protections in place for active duty and reservists. initially an automatic termination fee was added to my resident portal and that explained by the leasing agent. But I'm not sure my it was not followed up with knowing I had orders. I requested that it be removed the next day, and while it was eventually corrected, the entire process was unnecessarily frustrating something no military member should have to deal with. At that point, I was told I would only owe $290 for remaining utilities. But when I checked my portal to see how much of my deposit would be refunded, I saw that I was only getting back $70. Another termination fee had been re-added $411. When I called to ask why, I was told the accounting department doesn't communicate with the leasing agents, and the issue would need to be sent to their accountant for correction. Fortunately, the representative I spoke with was able to locate the email thread and verify my military orders. However not sure how this was missed. For future residents especially those in the militarybe aware that communication within this office is extremely poor. Even when you follow every step and provide official documentation, you may still be charged incorrectly and have to chase down the corrections yourself. Also, don't expect to receive your full deposit back. My deposit was $1000 I got back less than half of that. Regardless of how clean or undamaged your unit is, they will deduct for painting and patching. While this is outlined in the lease, it's still disappointing. When they do the inspection, they even tell you there's no point of you getting someone to clean your apartment because regardless if it's not to their standards, they're still gonna charge you. I've attached photos that they took to show the apartment was in great condition and thoroughly cleaned, yet I was still charged. On top of that, the remaining utilities were deducted from the deposit as well, which drastically reduced the refund amount. As you can tell June 1st I already paid water and sewage along with the prepared amount for the rest of the month. I was charge two more times each for water, sewage and trash. Also noise complaints are valid. Everyone smokes in these apartments weed and cigarettes. Constantly a smell especially by pool area. If you have a dog and your going rent here because there is a dog park area for them , just know that pets are allowed to be off leash in this area and there are some people who don't know how to recall their pets who have aggressive pets and you have to wait until they leave for your pet to use the bathroom because if you tell them to put the leash on them, you're gonna have an issue. Which is exactly what happened to me and I was unable to use as amenity that I pay for. I made a complaint once and they said that they were going to distribute an email out. I never saw the email. It's closed at 10 so after 10 you're going to have to go outside of the apartments for your pets to go to the restroom. read more

I've lived at AMLI Lex on Orange for just about a year, and while there are some great aspects to the property, my overall experience unfortunately declined over time. First, I want to give credit to the staff and management as they've always been responsive and professional. The unit itself was beautiful, modern, and well maintained. I genuinely liked living here in the beginning. But as time went on, the quality of the community took a major hit. There were ongoing issues with loud and inconsiderate neighbors. People blasting music at all hours, yelling in the hallways and courtyards late into the night, and speeding dangerously through the parking garage. It got to the point where I couldn't relax with my windows open because the noise was nonstop. On top of that, there was a serious incident involving police activity and violence between residents, which made me feel unsafe. With how high the rent is, you'd expect a more peaceful, respectful, and secure living environment. I honestly think AMLI needs to screen applicants more carefully. It feels like too many residents just don't care about basic consideration for others. It's disappointing because this place has potential, but by the end of my lease, I was counting down the days to leave. Great team and nice units but the community ruins it. read more

We have lived in amli lex on orage for 3 years, and it was time for us to move on as our family got bigger and we needed more space. For the past 3 years, i would say nothing but praise for the management and for the maintenance staff as well. They would be there for you 24/7, usually within 24-48hours upon requesting for maintenance they would come and fix any issue you have. The apartment environment was also very much to our liking. Neighbours were quiet most of the time, we didnt have to deal with noise complaints. Very safe neighbourhood to tkae a stroll or to walk your dogs, with americans just minutes away so its a fun walk back and forth. Restricted smoking was strongly enforced by the apartment which was much too our liking as well. I would say the only little downside is the cost of rent, which unfortunately has increased all over so cant complain too much. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here, great management and great apartment overall. read more

Lived here for 6 months now and not having the best experience. The apartment is great and the staff are wonderful. My complaint is about some of the residents here. Experiencing racism was my final push to write a review here. The said residents don't throw away their trash properly, don't pick up after their dog(s), smoke and throw their cigarette buds in shared spaces. Never went swimming in the pool again after finding mushy toilet paper and a piece of glass. Some dog owners use the dog park as their dogs' personal toilets and don't want to share the space because their dogs have behavioral issues and don't get along with other dogs. Uh... then take them outside on the streets and send them to school... duh? Witnessed some kids throw around office chairs and banging them to the wall in the office/work room. The parents were there and didn't do anything - just focused on whatever is on their phone. Some neighbors talk on their phones after midnight on their balconies or in the shared courtyards. Don't think they're smart enough to know how sound reverberates. Or worse, they just don't care! Was hoping with the rent being expensive, we'd have some classy neighbors; however, that's not the case! All the good neighbors seem to want to move or have already moved for the same reasons. And there's never any space in guest parking lot! Real review is a 0 but I feel bad for the staff members. They do their best but can't fix things (e.g., a neighbor yelling a racist remarks at me even though I did nothing nor say anything - was just in the elevator wanting to go home). read more

I've lived here for a year and a half now, and most of it so far has been a nightmare. We have a neighbor two doors down that doesn't give enough of a crap to open the trash chute door to throw away the trash. She brings it to chute and leaves it there. Ask yourself, is this a health violation? Against some kind of fire code? Against tenant rules? It's a plain old crappy thing to do as a human being. My problem is that management keeps saying that there's nothing they can do about this, which boggles my mind. Really? How could there be nothing you can do against this monster that's terrorizing the entire floor? I take a picture and email it to them every time but all they do is just clean up after her. They stopped responding to my emails a long time ago. I haven't heard back from them in months. Please take some kind of action so she'll stop doing this!! I added a star for Rizzo at the leasing office for always being very kind. Another thing to note is that you can hear every.single.step that your upstairs neighbor takes and its VERY loud. Decent apartment living. Been closed the entire time of covid19 with no discounts due to closure of amenities, claiming we don't pay for them. So what do we pay for? Luxury apartment complex comes with a luxury price, that would mean use of the luxury amenities and not 600-700 square ft apartments with mediocre appliances (horrible washers and dryers might I add). I get it times are rough for everyone during COVID19 but don't use it against your tenants. Complex would be a great place to live but entire staff is never on the same page, condescending, rude and incompetent (other than the cleaning crew who are very kind). The only time you can reach the manager is when you complain to corporate which is unfortunate. Hire a new staff and maybe more people would be happy to live here. Location is great. Building is one of the oldest in the area with little to no updates. Again, If they brought back Desiree who was absolutely a delight to work with and hired a completely new office staff - five stars would be a no brainer. read more

This review is for Rizzo who works at the leasing office. During our time here, he was very responsive and was able to solve any issues that we had brought up. He is attentive and follows through with everything. Because of him, we had a smooth/good time living at AMLI Lex. He has excellent communication skills with a cool/laid back attitude. Overall, we had a great experience living here because of him (and previously, Garret). Maintenance addresses issues promptly. Nevin, Jacob and Jose from maintenance are all friendly and efficient. There are several community events/appreciation gifts. They are cool, boosts morale in the community. However, none of the "freebies" were ever that impressive. Overall, great location. Good staff. We chose to live here because all the nearby apartments did not have floor plans that we liked. Over the few years of living here, guest parking has become an issue. Seems like there are cars that park overnight x mannnnyyyyy nights. For those reading this while on the hunt for apts, the apartments by Chipotle has ZERO closet space, BTW. The other ones that are newer seemed full of obnoxious people. They make the rent very enticing but then will raise it by A LOT once you renew. read more

I am leaving this review strictly for informational purposes for future residents or people thinking of renting here. They have a No Harm, No Coverage policy which I only knew about because of what happened in my unit and my insurance adjuster told me. I lived here for 1 year from August 2021-August 2022, some aspects were good and others I will describe as disappointing. First I will start with the good, I was living in a top floor loft apartment, the apartment itself was very nice, high ceilings, plenty of windows and natural light, the balcony was very small though but that is okay because I don't use balconies much. The hallways however, did smell of trash due a lot of the time (understandably so) due to the trash shoot being located at the start of the hallway. Raz in the leasing office is great, very attentive and helpful; I only have great things to say about him. The maintenance department was also always reliable and friendly, the maintenance manager Ernesto is a great guy and always delivered in a timely manner when I put in a request. Now for the not so good part, one night it was really cold in the apartment (few months after I had moved in) when I went to turn on the heater for the first time ever since I had moved in, it was only blowing cold air so I left it for a while thinking it needed to adjust but no hot or warm air ever came through, so I put in a maintenance request. The next day one of the men came and he opened the main vent which was on the second floor of my loft to clean the pipe, the main water however he had forgotten to shut off, before I knew it the second floor including my bed, mattress, closet, clothing was soaked in hot water that drained down to the first floor directly below it, the walls were damaged and 2 units below me also had damage (directly below me and the other directly below them). The way management handled it made it seem as though they had no fault and it was mine. I work from home and it was a huge inconvenience as my office area was one of the damaged areas, I had no clothes to wear because all of mine had been damaged; I was wearing the same things for the 10 days I was put out of the apartment while they dried it and fixed the damages. They did offer me a guest unit but not for the entire time, I had to stay in a local hotel which my renter's insurance paid for (not Amli Lex on Orange). When I did finally get my apartment back, the work was incomplete and you could tell it was rushed (Pictures below). Just a couple of months ago someone came and took measurements to fix the carpet on the stairs, until the day I moved out nobody had come back to repair that carpet. There are so many more little annoying details but I will spare you. You pay a lot of money to live here, it is expected that the amenities they offer be functioning (that's what we are paying a premium for). One of the basic features was not working for the majority of my stay here, the call box outside to let visitors was out of service all the time. I had to constantly go down from the 5th floor to the bottom to open the door for any delivery people or guests. Overall, I will say what you pay for is not what you get. They provide the bare minimum but advertise themselves as luxury apartment living. I was disappointed because I really did not want to leave this place when I first moved in. read more

My wife and lived here for 1 yr with our dog. Unit #516. Pool view. Overall, it is a decent apartment complex, and I think Rizzo is great, but unfortunately overpriced and understaffed in my honest opinion. I think the owner/s is cutting corners. We moved for a variety of reasons. See pros/cons Cons: -They charge you to paint the apartment when you leave and that comes out of your deposit, even though it should be a tenant turnover cost to AMLI. We had a 2 bed with a loft and were charged $235.11 for paint, and that is even if we hadn't scratched the walls. If an extensive paint needed to be done, it would have been $470.21. For full clarity, the other items that came out of our deposit were: Full Janitorial $130, Carpet Clean $85, TV Mount Damage $35, Carpet Deep clean $30. It's mainly the paint that is upsetting. -Mail room theft. The mail room in building A had packages opened and stolen, even though there is a camera in the corner. We had two packages stolen. We never received any emails about this as an issue, nor any communication reassuring us there is 24 hr surveillance, etc. -The appliances are cheap. We had to get our sink fixed about 10 times, and snaked about 4 times because it kept clogging. The dishwasher barely does its job cleaning so dishes have to be scrubbed clean before putting them in the dishwasher. The oven broke once. -There were only two maintenance guys on at any time. They were very nice, and knowledgeable, but very overworked it seemed and also learned most of what they did on the fly, which is why we eventually needed a true plumber twice. - The door to the pool deck from building A did not unlock with key card and three occasions. - The "Wooftop" dog grass is gross and poorly sanitized and cleaned. - Rent was increased this year from the 4K we paid, to $4750 for the next year (but we left). An increase by $750/mo does not seem justified. - My wife was stuck in an elevator for 20 min (which was very traumatizing) and afterwards I asked for at least a reduction in the rent that month for compensation, and they sent a gift basket with cheeses/crackers/honey and a $10 starbucks gift card. I just didn't get the vibe they really cared. - We had a poolside unit, #516 to be exact. Even though there is a curfew at the pool, there were plenty of nights were loud music is blared and left unchecked until I called management. Also, during the day on the weekend, there many times loud music is played, which can get annoying since my wife would try to nap in the afternoon given she has been pregnant. -Glendale streets. There are countless street racers in their BMWs and Mercedes who speed down the streets with loud mufflers and it gets very very old and at times feels unsafe crossing the street. - Both recycling chute and trash chutes emptied into the same dumpster... Pros: - Walkability. The Americana and Glendale Galleria is really great. Brand has a lot of places to eat. It is really convenient to be able to walk to those areas and my wife and I really enjoyed weekend nights at Americana with their live music. - Safety. The area is very safe and the apartment complex felt even safer. - Layout. Our apartment layout was really enjoyable with lots of windows for sunlight. - The apartment complex is quite dog friendly and we made wonderful friends with our neighbors who also had dogs. They even have a dog of the month. - The pool area and gym were quite clean. I swam a lot in the pool and it was very nice. It was not heated on many days during the winter, however. - They did have movie nights, and times for hot chocolate, or other apartment events which was nice. - When we did need maintenance, they were very responsive and usually came w/i 24-48 hours as promised. The maintenance men were very professional and kind. - Rizzo is very helpful and professional, as well as responsive to emails. I think overall the management was responsive to our communication. - Overall, the apartment experience was decent. My wife and I felt safe. We enjoyed walking around Glendale especially to the Americana. We wanted to leave to have a yard and quieter location, and it got old having to have things fixed. The staff were generally nice, the amenities also are really convenient, but unfortunately I think this place is overpriced for what it brings other than location and what I mentioned above. Also, having to have to pay for paint when that should be a tenant turnover cost to AMLI is really frustrating, especially when it wasn't detailed out in the contract. read more

I recently experienced car theft :(( i informed garret and rizzo that the car thief took my whole key including the house key which makes me feel unsafe. I emailed around 5:45 ish and they came right a way and changed the door lock for us. I didn't even expect they will come right away. I can't even say how thankful i am. I've lived here for a year. It saddens me to say that the quality of the building has deteriorated rapidly, along with the quality of the tenants that now rent from here. You will see from prior reviews that many tenants left early on and things have only gotten worse. Before parking was the main issue, now there is so much more wrong with this place that there isn't room to cover it all in a Yelp review. It's a shame because I still live here and will have to tolerate these conditions for another year. This review is being made in hopes that others do not make my mistake. To be clear, the tenants don't care about the rules or regulations for this property. They have complete disregard for the comfort of others and they are down right disrespectful of the property. A short list of the problems at this community are: 1. Excessive smoking of cigarettes, hookahs, marijuana, cigars and who knows what else. Lex On Orange is advertised as a "Breatheasy smoke free community --- inside and out". There is a Glendale ordinance against smoking. Me and my husband along with other tenants have complained to management about the excessive smoking. Nothing has been done about it. This has been going on for months. The tenants are so comfortable that they do it during the day, out in the open. All tenants have had to sign a non-smoking addendum, but management is so worried about occupancy they are looking away and having the tenants deal with the problem instead. If you have asthma or just generally care about your health, do not live here! You will regret it. 2. Previous reviews have mentioned how this is a "party house". That is an understatement. The parties here are excessively loud, the attendees have been over 100 at times, and go on literally into the wee morning hours. If children are involved they are unattended in the pool, hot tub and fitness center. The children have sword fights with the pool cues while their parents drink and dance elsewhere. The pool tables and sticks are ruined because of this. 3. Piggybacking off of 2. Children in the building are not supervised out at the pool and cabanas. The lease says that children under 14 should be with someone over 14. This doesn't happen and the children are misbehaved, inappropriate and at risk of harming themselves at the pool and barbecue grills. 4. No more than two guests per apartment are permitted at any time in the common areas. This is another rule that is not adhered to or inforced by management. The parties are so large that all other tenants are confined to their homes. It is extremely uncomfortable gaining access to the pool or exercise room because there are parties going on 50 - 100 people deep. This happens several nights a week and definitely Friday - Sunday throughout the entire day. The noise is so loud that police have been called, arguments between loud tenants vs. peaceful tenants have broken out and so on. 5. Most importantly in this one star rating is that because of everything listed above, the two buildings, most apartments, carpeted hallways and all amenities are extremely run down and in need of upgrades. During another wild party. Three hookahs were being used in a cabana and they set the couches on fire. Now there is a huge hole in one of the couches to go along with the nasty food stains. It's lovely. 6. Last week I witnessed four tenants (2 couples) working out in the gym. They did cardio and weights. Immediately thereafter they all took off their outerwear and hopped into the hot tub as if it were their personal place to clean off. So gross. No respect for shared space and amenities. 7. There is no security enforcement. Due to the excessive partying, many people have chosen to prop open many of the gates that are meant to protect the property. This allows a steady stream of party-goers into the pool area at all hours of the night without them having to get up and let them in. So they are putting the entire community at risk in addition to the obnoxious party noise. 8. The tenants are dirty and lazy. We have garbage chutes on every floor. For some reason many tenants drag (literally as you can see the stains throughout the hallways on the carpets) their trash to the chutes but just leave them outside of it. It's too inconvenient to pick it up I guess. Sadly, the maintenance and cleaning staff are wonderful and spend their days attempting to make this place look like it deserves high rents. Unfortunately, this community should be half the amount they are trying to collect. Management needs to stop accepting applications from people that are piling more people than are allowed into one apartment and start cracking down on the violators of the above offenses. Bow down and praise all ye, to Mt. Olympus! Since the first day I moved in, I have not slept this well in 10 years. Glendale is far more peaceful than most Los Angeles burrows anyway, but this gem-- somehow while nestled but a stone's throw from the Galleria/ Americana/ Target-- is so serene that you'll never be woken up by atrocious leaf blowers/ streetsweeping/ garbage trucks. And my own balcony overlooks a foliage-enriched courtyard tucked away from the sound pollution of street traffic & pedestrian passersby. Hell, I even walk around nekkies with the shades rolled up, I'm so hidden. And yet I get all the sunlight my dog, plants, & I need to thrive. Don't get me started on the amenities; Central Air, secured parking, recycling/trash shoots, 2 pool tables, java bar with free Starbucks every morning from 7am-6pm, VIP & Club lounges with HDTVs & kitchenettes, conference rooms w/ new desktop computers & printers, a movie theater you can sign into Netflix & Xbox on, saltwater swimming pool & jacuzzi lined with cabanas that each have their own HDTV & two bbqs in the side, an adult rooftop, and a "Woof-Top" mini dog park on the roof where you can let your pooch out for a quickie or wash them off in one of two huge tubs w/ adjustable shower heads & blow dryer. And the staff is so great!!! Rizzo and Monica have made everything wicked easy from the scouting, application, signing, move-in, and daily processes... to Nevin's crackerjack team of maintenance men who jump on the service requests STAT (AMLI makes it SUPER easy with its app that also allows you to pay rent!!!)... and on through the cleaning crew of Coco, Marta, and company who keep the place as spic & span as possible with a smile on their faces. I can't remember the main security guard's name yet, but even HE went the Extra Mile to return my sparkling Apple Cider after we left it in the lounge while soaking in the jacuzzi during our Super Bowl party. And Desiree hit the ground running in the leasing office after apparently just returning from her Maternity Leave. Whoever is hiring these people better damn well be doing some TED talks or some shiz. Cuz this ship is TIGHT. The neighbors, for the most part, are generally rather chill and more than happy to exchange pleasantries. All in all, this spot is Shangra-La!!! So what are you waiting for?!? I don't know how she has a job! They amenities including the gym and old and dirty! The gym is kept hot and the building manage doesn't allow you to turn the air conditioning on! Some issues with stolen vehicles out of the garage, and noise issues, but as apartments go, great amenities, great location, and decent living experience, depending on your neighbors. So 2 stars for that.... My issues are with the management and policies. When we moved in we were told we can move to another unit with a transfer fee for $200. After living in a unit facing the back alley, we requested a more ideal unit, and the $200 dollar transfer was no longer available. Instead we were told we had to pay $500, PLUS $1,000 deposit. Which is funny because at the time the deposit for new tenants was $99. After going back and forth we decided we didn't feel welcomed, and begin looking for a new place to live. There are several new options in the area. We actually found a great place downtown, 8 weeks free, $500 deposit. We do have guests coming for the first time and what they will come to is just someone's messed up. A few more things about AMLI the place was not kept up for being a deluxe apartment it didn't seam clean and the smoking from some of tenants was big problem, the visitors parking is always full it's not controlled, where we are at now the parking is controlled you can be charged. and for our pool here there's a no party rule you can have a few guests just no party. Monica was no help at all at any of these areas and she never made you feel welcome to live at Amli !! there's a few things that bother me such as when working out in the gym none of the monitors on the machines work. at times way to many Non-residents at the pool, loud music there also. When trying to print something using there copy machine in the computer room using your own computer or phone it's saying you can but it doesn't work and i'm not going to use a unsecured computer there with all of the identity theft that is going on and going in the office to have them print something out for you is not a solution. this place is not managed well there's a long list too long to add we are just glad we move out. the only good thing is we got our deposit back. read more

Such a disappointment - made an appointment the day before coming in to take a tour. When I arrived, I was told by Garrett that there were no units available for viewing - even though I received an email from him confirming my visit!! This is all understandable considering units will sometimes go fast, but at least as a courtesy give me a call to update me so I didn't have to make the trip. But instead, when I arrived I was offered to look at floor plans on his computer!! On the website - which I could've pulled up on my phone in the comfort of my home!!! Just to echo what people have been saying here...Rizzo and Chanelle are amazing! However, my experience living here the last two years has been frustrating. There has been a dog barking issue that has been consistent for just about as long as I have lived in my apartment. At all hours of the night, the dog will bark continuously and the noises echo in the courtyard. I have informed the leasing office and sent videos and they said that they have talked to the resident. And I am sure that they have, but the resident doesn't seem to care. The dog has still continued to bark all the time. I was also told that other neighbors have made the same complaint. The leasing office said I can contact the humane society. But I would have to agree to be able to go to court if needed. Plus I would have to get 3 other tenants signatures that are having the same issue with the dog barking as well as keep a monthly log of the hours this nuisance happens. I eventually gave up notifying the leasing office with the barking because nothing was changing. I never wanted anything done to the dog or it get taken away, I just wanted to be able to sleep and not get woken up by barking. My other neighbor would have screaming matches with her visitors and police would show up banging on my door in the early hours asking what was going on and if I heard anything. This neighbor would continue to be sarcastic with the police officers, even when they were just trying to check to see if she was okay. She would continue to shout at them through the door keeping everyone else awake even later. I informed the leasing office of this nuisance, and they spoke to the resident but the issue continued for months. Now the time has come for my lease renewal and the monthly rent increase is quite hefty. The first year I renewed it went up by about the 7%... which was roughly 150 dollars per month. This current renewal has increased my rent by 16% with the increase being 368 dollars per month. I have been informed that this is the market price and nothing can really be done negotiating wise. This is almost a 25% rent increase over two years. It is just frustrating that I am a tenant that abides by the rules and for whatever reasons, I have neighbors that don't. I feel like I am the one being penalized with this hefty price increase. Overall I do like the complex and anytime I had a maintenance issue or anything, it was taken care of quickly. The maintenance workers are always super nice when they have to come by. Anytime I swing by the leasing office to chat with Rizzo and Chanelle, they always make me feel welcome. read more

I love this place great staff and the maintenance is done the next day. Whenever I have questions Rizzo is always very courteous and is there in the lobby to answer any of my concerns. The gym that's open 24/7 and amenities they offer makes this a great place to live. They've recently started doing community events so it really solidified that home feel. read more

Pick a different place to live! Me and my girlfriend are 6 months into our lease and the elevator system has been down for multiple days 5 different times. It has currently been down for over a week!!!!!! Management does not provide any help and if you call their corporate office in Costa Mesa they won't call you back. They haven't answered our questions in the past and completely ignore their residents. I understand things go wrong, but a companies character should shine through at that time. The Amli team does the opposite. They ignore you and hope you go away. They told me an elevator was a "convenience" I have a senior dog that is heavy. I have been carrying him for days up and down these stairs. I have tripped and fallen, my dog is limping and we get no help. The apartment look ok from the inside but all the materials they use are not of great quality. Everything breaks here. There are plenty of brand new places in the area. Take a look at them I would never recommend Amli to anyone read more

Final update. My girlfriend and I have moved out of Amli Lex on Orange. We found a two 2B/2B house with a garage and a backyard that was cheaper than our Amli studio space. There's no hot tub, but it's also an entire house. We left for a multitude of reasons, the primary one being a 25% increase in our monthly rent unless we signed another year's lease. This would have brought us to $3,220 for our tiny studio loft, not including the $50 pet rent and $85 parking space rent. When we gave our notice that we were moving out, we were ignored. Nobody bothered to contact us regarding scheduling walk-throughs, or replied to emails inquiring about specific move-out dates. At one point, I had to double-check that I actually put in a move-out notice. We took the time to do a DEEP clean on the apartment and rented a carpet steamer to clean the carpet. We left it in very good condition, and still got dinged $421 (prorated from $642) for a full carpet replacement. There was zero staining on the carpet (which was limited to the loft area and a closet), and the only dirt was from standard wear-and-tear. I'm shocked that they replaced the carpet, and left us with absolutely no recourse. The experience of moving out was the polar opposite of touring the place and moving in. We were dead to them, and our security deposit was ripe for the taking. I'm extremely disappointed with how we were treated, and hope they find a way to improve the way they do business with current & departing residents. read more

I've just recently moved into AMLI last month and the experience has been amazing to say the least. Garrett and Rizzo have been so helpful with the entire process. In my previous experiences, staff begins to be less communicative once you've moved in and already signed your lease, but the AMLI staff is ALWAYS there for their tenants! They truly care! Whether you have a random question about your lease or want recommendations for good spots to eat in Glendale, they are excited to help! If you're wondering if the reviews are true, they are!
