From the architecture of the building, to the amenities they that provide, oh and you couldn't forget about how amazing and nice the staff and the leasing consultants are! Came here on a tour a few days ago and was so pleased! Rizzo was the one who took me on the tour and he was so helpful, informative, amazing and tall!!! We are nearing the end of our 1 year lease at AMLI and have decided to transfer to a bigger unit. The building just received an exterior facelift, garage powerwash, new TV's in the common areas, and new gym equipment. While amenities have been closed due to COVID- this is of no fault of the staff and management- it's LA County orders. Our unit transfer process was easy with our leasing agent Garrett Rose. He is super friendly and accommodating. I returned to the office multiple times during the process with various questions and he never made me feel like I was a nuisance. When we first signed our original lease, Garrett was our leasing agent. We toured 12 different properties and the amenities combined with his demeanor helped make the decision easy. Monica was also very helpful during the process. Rizzo has also helped us with various requests. I have never had an issue with response time and maintenance requests. Whenever I send an email, there is a response within hours and whoever is available pitches in to support. We didn't hesitate to renew because we have enjoyed our time at AMLI. It is centrally located near downtown Glendale, comes with secure parking (we have two vehicles, one brand new and have never encountered issues with stolen, broken into cars), I use the common lounges to work from home, and have no complaints against any of the staff. They do their best to provide a positive living experience- the rest is up to residents. read more

I've been here for 2.5 years and I must say I absolutely love living here! Over the past year we have lost some of our amenities due to Covid but Amli kept us up to date. Even when La opened up, we had brand new furniture & equipment in our amenities so we could enjoy fully! They have been so great at keeping us safe. I love that they do resident appreciation day on the 7th and Nevin & Jacob in the maintenance department are amazing!!!!!! It's a beautiful and safe luxury complex! I'll be moving out-of-state in about a month, so I wanted to just leave this review as a thank you to the staff at AMLI. I've lived in a handful of apartment buildings here in SoCal, and ended up moving to Lex on Orange about 1.5 years ago. I'm happy to say that this building has earned the top spot in overall best apartment-living experience. Monica in the leasing office is an exemplary individual, who has gone above and beyond for me on multiple occasions. I can tell she cares a lot about this building and its residents. I have no doubt you will have a great experience with her as well. This also applies to the rest of the staff, specifically Garett and Rizzo. They are both extremely efficient, quick to respond, and friendly to deal with. I left a review for Garett a little bit ago when he helped me out with an issue I was dealing with. The facility is very well-maintained, quiet, and clean. This is also one of the only apartments I've seen where residents do not just leave trash in front of the garbage chutes. I have been living at Lex on Orange for a few months. I waited to write the review so I could talk about both the leasing experience and the quality of life. When looking into Lex on Orange, Garrett in the leasing office made the process clear and manageable. He took time to show me the various models and amenities. He was accessible by both email and phone to answer my questions, both before and after I submitted my application. When Garrett was off, Rizzo stepped up to help out. I had a short move -in window and they made it happen. After moving in, I had one or two minor maintenance issues. Within 24 hours they had the problems solved and I cannot complain. They make putting in service requests quick and easy. And the leasing office remains accessible and helpful even after you move in. The buildings and amenities are very nice. I have used the pool, hot tub and gym. I enjoyed a public get together in the lounge put on by the staff to meet other residents. In my experience, the people here are very nice and make great neighbors. The other reviews on here complain of noise, but the truth is that at night I hear almost nothing at all. The location is convenient and in walking distance of many restaurants as well as the mall. I should note that i moved in shortly before the Covid-19 emergency. The building had to close much of the amenities for public health reasons. Nonetheless, the office remains responsive with any issues that we have and clearly communicates changes in policies through email and the building app. That is appreciated. read more

I've been living here going on 3 years now and I love the building, but I must admit that the management company is horrible. My lease expired this month, I signed the lease agreement via eSign almost 2 weeks ago to extend it for another year with the new rates they proposed. I logged in to the AMLI website on the 1st to pay my rent and sure enough It was only giving me an option to pay the month to month rent price which is about $600 more than my usual rent. I emailed the management company the same day and received NO RESPONSE whatsoever (just like every other time I message the management company via their messaging system). On the third, my fiancee called the management office to ask them when they will be updating the website so we can pay our rent before it goes late and she said the person in charge is not in and will call us back when he gets in (we spoke to Desiree). Sure enough, 3 days passes and again no reply from anyone. No email to my initial inquiry or response to our call. I come home today to find a 3 Day Notice to Pay or Vacate on my door and posted in a way where its visible for everyone who passes by to see (they didn't even make an effort to put it in an envelope or slide it under the door. I don't understand how the management company thinks this is okay. I now have to feel embarrassed walking out of my house since Im sure so many of my neighbors saw the notice. When I moved in here 2 years ago, the management office was amazing. Ever since, its just getting worse and worse. read more

But the staff have been super friendly and helpful and they try hard to fix anything that goes wrong as quickly as possible. And Ive seen improvement over the 4 years. I love Amli and the amenities are great. I love the location of our apartment and our apartment layout fits us so perfect. I am so sad that we will be leaving due to horrible neighbors. This apartment allows pets which is fine but not when a 70lb dog runs around on hard wood floor above you constantly. I haven't had a good nights sleep since we moved in. Since Amli only has lofted apartments on the top floor I think our only choice is to leave to another complex to get a floor plan we can afford and so we can actually sleep at night. Unfortunate situation but definitely a warning for people moving into floors below people. This is my first time living in apartments so it was definitely a learning lesson. Well updated review- I had no complaints about the management until now, considering they aren't able to locate me as a current resident. LOL, I have lived here and payed rent for 6 months and management doesn't know I exist...extremely rude. read more

This has probably been the best living experience I've had. I moved into AMLI 4 years ago today, and it was one of the best decisions I've made. I can't say enough what a great management team AMLI has put together, Marco, Monica, Rizzo and Garret are all great people to deal with. The maintenance crew has been lightning fast, I've never had to wait more than 24-48 hours to get them to come in and resolve an open issue. The best part about living here is that not only is it a nice building but they're always continuously making improvements to the building to make sure that it stays up-to-date. They recently added a new coffee machine, redid the elevator flooring, the gym flooring, etc. I've been to all of the other rental properties available in downtown Glendale and to be honest this is the only building where the rent is reasonable and you the service is exceptional. This is specifically for leasing and move in. I was in the Glendale area looking at apartments on a Sunday (late January this year) and had finished an earlier appointment earlier than expected. I thought I'd just come by and see if I could bump my appointment up by half an hour. Garrett was kind enough to accommodate and showed me a couple of units around the complex that he thought would be of interest to me. He gave me details of the units, lease terms, area information - ALL of it. I didn't really need to ask anything. Best of all, he was not pushing me for an answer for such a monumental decision. I came back a week later with family and decided to apply that very afternoon due to the fact that I was beyond excited for the unit and Garrett's professionalism and friendly attitude made me feel confident and comfortable with renting here. Moving in was a breeze with the information they provide (Reminders of what needs to be set up before moving in and the phone numbers for gas/power/ water services that you'll need ). I did have a few questions with the lease and sent a few emails to get clarification. Responses by Garrett, Rizzo, and Monica were within an hour or two (reasonable times) and we were able to clarify any misunderstandings or questions that I had. Rizzo was the one who went through the move in packet and inspection with me, and as we went through the unit, he noted down even the smallest of details my eye was catching. All in all, I've very much enjoyed this whole process and it's just led me to feeling even more excited with this move. I've lived here for about two years now and didn't have any issues until now. Worst experience ever. I'm just sitting in my apartment and I keep hearing the door bell ringing, I go to open it, no one there. This didn't just happen once. Loud parties in the building and when I tell the management they're giving me attitude this insane and unheard of. Everyone should feel comfortable in their home and I definitely do not feel comfortable here. The management needs to starts taking the residents seriously. read more

After living here for 6 months and letting some initial maintenence issues slide, problems continue and amount to a less then stellar experience. Security hangs out in the pool area babysitting residents while people sneak in to sleep in the hallways. I understand security has to keep common areas an enjoyable place for all residents but at the expense of not patrolling the entire building for intruders and possibly vagrants? At one point while using the conference room at 10pm (which I was told was available 24 hours along with the gym at leasing) security comes to kick me and my team out while in the middle of a meeting and remarked: "don't you have an apartment to go to?" How embarrassing! I have yet to hear from management about clarification on business center hours along with other issues I have had. Slow to no responses on emails and phone calls to management seem to be the norm here. Another amenity with issues is the Java Bar, a small counter space with a Starbucks coffee machine and teas. After the 2nd month of living here the paper coffee cups ran out and have not been restocked since. Slowly the inventory of teas dwindled and does not appear to be restocked as it should. Now, I didn't move here for the coffee but this is an example of how policies are not in place or not followed. Finally, If you live in building B and your guests use the guest parking spaces (only available in building A) you have to walk across the alley to building A to let your guests into the common area since it can only be opened with a resident key fob and then walk back to your apartment. Annoying. While Lex on Orange is a nice building, I believe these issues prevent it form being the gem it could be. read more

I am living at AMLI since August 2014 and I love this place from the start. Lets start with the pros: The leasing staff are great and very friendly! After viewing a couple of apartments I returned to Ireland and organized everything over email with Jennifer from leasing, she was very helpful and I was ready to move in on my return! This place is a great location and the full of good amenities such as gym, pool, spa, theatre room, games room and more.. Walking distance to some great bars and restaurants and a couple minutes drive to places like Griffith park, Hollywood etc.. It is a pet friendly place and there are lots of dogs and even a doggy park on the roof, I guess this may not be a pro for everybody but it is for me! The building is very modern throughout and the units are filled with modern appliances.The office regularly throw events for the residents which is a great time for some free grub/beers and to make new friends around the building! There are a couple of cons (hence the 4 stars): They can be VERY slow to replace broken/faulty amenities. The roller gate in the parking garage was broken for waaaaaaaayyyy too long which is unacceptable for an apartment complex with 'secure parking'. Theatre room projector is out of order for weeks.. I think the pool could do with more regular cleaning during the busier hot periods. I guess we have to be mindful that a place this new will have 'teething problems' and some parts may need to be ordered in but ZERO communication is a big problem.. As in other reviews there are problems of residents not following the rules but I guess AMLI can not be blamed on that. I've seen staff enforce the no smoking rule when they catch somebody but they cant catch everybody! Overall I would recommend this to a friend.. Its a great place to live, I've met some nice people and made lots of friends here! read more

This is one of the nicest apartments I've lived in and I've only been here a few weeks. Rizzo is always incredibly helpful, and alongside Garret they make the best leasing team. This is super pet friendly and all of the residents are nice. It's not too loud at night and you can't really hear your neighbors above you, which I appreciate. This is my favorite place I have ever lived. My husband, daughter, and I moved in to this apartment complex in Sept 2016, and have been extremely impressed with the amenities, staff, and location. We have also found the other residents to be friendly and thoughtful. Beth and Amy in the Leasing Office have always been kind and efficient; they seem to go out of their way to make sure tenants have what they need. I don't doubt that the negative reviews are honest, but luckily we have not experienced anything negative. Broken gates or broken hot tubs, etc are to be expected when such a large number of people are living in a community together. I appreciate the updates provided by the management regarding expected dates of repair and their apologies when amenities are temporarily down. Also, you can't beat the location. We're just close enough to all the fun stuff on Brand and the Americana, but one street removed so it is nice and peaceful. There are tons of hair dressers, nail salons, massage therapists, grocery stores, cute shops, cafes, and even a little playground, just a short walk away. I don't even have to get in the car most of my days off. And of course the apartment itself is functional and attractive. The kitchen/living room/dining room has an open layout that we love! All in all, this is a stellar apartment and community and are so grateful we found it! read more

It makes me want to cry living here. Every single day the neighbor upstairs is banging and stomping so loudly all day. I contacted the leasing office and there was no resolution. I'm forced to suffer through these last 2 months. If you live below or next to a neighbor with a dog, good luck getting some peace! THERE IS NO PEACE. The walls and floors in this building is so thin!! It's so upsetting that because the neighbors are so loud I can't get any sleep. My lease ends at the end of May but if I could move out earlier I would happily do so but I'm not going to spend extra money to leave early with all the fees they'll probably charge me. This community started off great until I realized it flaws. Don't be fooled by their monthly community events, the food trucks they bring are mediocre at best, the mini candies and treats they give out for resident appreciation day are subpar. They throw in one random event with free alcohol or food a month but have very limited spaces for that. Summer was SO FUN until they banned parties and alcohol and music. After that, no one was at the pool anymore. AMLI went from a hot spot to being the place no one wants to visit or even live at anymore. I was charged for storage monthly when I only inquired and did not actually want it but luckily Rizzo fixed that issue for me. He's accompanied me to find packages before too which was nice. He's the most helpful!! Quite a few times my package went missing. Basically my packages worth hundreds of dollars are stolen or misplaced. The leasing people doesn't care much about solving that issue. Luxor lockers are too packed so many packages are just laying around. As for employees, the maintenance guy provoked our friend into fighting him(no fight happened but he still pressed charges) and had the nerve to threaten to evict us. Why are you old and fighting with 20 yr olds? He said to my boyfriend "I will make it hard for you to live here". My boyfriend did nothing!! You're telling me the guy who unclogs my tub and fixes my lights has the power to do that? To threaten us with eviction?? If you have an issue with our friend, fine. BUT DO NOT THREATEN ME OR MY LOVE. I was considering suing if that happened, luckily it never came to that. Monica was unhelpful during a VERY BAD roommate/co-signer situation but Rizzo was supportive and wonderful when it came to the problem. She gave us the option of either getting evicted or paying 3 months to break the lease. Thank you Marco for giving us another option so neither happened and waiving the unit transfer fee. Rizzo was the one who got us into our apartment and helped us transition from our 2 bedroom to our one bedroom after finally I figured out how to handle the bad situation by myself. I do feel like Monica is selective with customer service and she's very rude to us. She looks at us like we are dumb children. She told us we weren't allowed to record videos on the rooftop and said we can pay 150 dollars to rent the vip room if we want to make videos OFF OF AN IPHONE. It's literally only a couple people with NO SPEAKER. We pay a lot of money to live here and we can't record videos off a phone? Because the resident nearby complains that we hang out upstairs in a PUBLIC PLACE IN DAYLIGHT. YET nobody does anything about the noisy neighbors above us. SELECTIVE SERVICE. My boyfriend is a dancer and guess what? Can't practice dancing in the gym when it's empty. Apparently "the mirrors are just for decoration" so we were kicked us out because 'our friend isn't allowed here'. This building is crazy strict!! Granted now we can't access these areas cause of Coronavirus, but even with the amenities, it's not worth it to live here. If you are considering moving here, please don't. We've had so many issues and the vibes are bad. You don't want to suffer through a year of noisy neighbors and mostly bad service. If I could move out now with no issues I WOULD. There was a time I was going to give 5 stars but everything that's happened recently left a bad taste in my mouth. I'm so sad because we used to love this place so much and wanted to renew! read more

I absolutely LOVE living here! I will start with the fact that I have very high expectations for apartment complexes but I feel lucky almost all the time knowing I live here. The amenities are just as awesome as they look, the people that live here have become my closest friends, and the staff here is SUPER friendly and helpful. They all are like a family and while there are rules they aren't too many where you feel like your living in a corporation. They are always open to suggestions and even have an internal portal that feels like a Facebook for the community to share their concerns or collaborate. If you are looking for a fun and great place to live, you should definitely check this place out (and no they are not paying me or even asking me to write this, that's just how much I love living here!). read more

Only been here a weekend, and the place is only 30% occupied - so this review may change with time. HOWEVER, as of today this spot is 5-star + more. Great amenities (gym, pool, theatre, business center, pool tables, discounts on local hot-spots), staff is wonderful and there always seems to be a swarm of people cleaning and maintaining the project. Great spot at a good value. Everything is walkable / bikeable. The dozen other tenants I've met are all very down to earth. Virtually no D-Bag factor ... which is rare for a building this nice and trendy. read more

Terrible employees with bad ethics and the community doesn't make up for it. Gym is ok. Pool hours end early. Security has been awful which explains why there has been three different ones. The worst thing is the service manager, who consistently provokes and argues with residents and guests. Why hire someone who threatens to get residents kicked out to protect his own ego? So many other nice communities in the area. Avoid this one at all costs before you get evicted for no reason. read more
