Today, Friday, January 23 2026, I called TRIPLE AAA to request Tire service. They referred me to AMMARI AUTO CENTER. AAA told me AMMARI would send a Service Rep in 45 minutes and that he would call me when approaching my address. Well, (seriously) before I could spit into the wind, a driver called, identified himself and arrived ... the Guy, was out front of my drive way. Can you beat THAT!? He promptly introduced himself, "My name is Alejandro, how may I help you!?" I told him, "During those rainy days, two weeks ago, I hit a bad, bad, bad pot hole and my tire popped!" Alex looked at it and asked if I had a spare. Told him, "No! I need you to tow it to Burbank Tire Pros, on Victory Blvd, where they're waiting for you to drop off the car." Well, needless- to prolong your agony, Alex loaded up the car and off he happily went. Right after Alex left, I called his Shop's number, as I needed to confirm their address. A young Lady answered. I asked her name. GEMMA, she replied. I told her I just needed to confirm their address and a couple of other things. She was very helpful and asked if Alex had helped me, to which I told her he was very professional, courteous and patient either me. To think that this tow yard is still in business is crazy they were sent by AAA to come change my tire on my truck. They sent some clown name Enrique and this clown showed up drunk or high on something after waiting 45 minutes for him. he calls me asking what kind of car I'm in when I told AAA I was in a silver lifted truck then shows up with a wrong size car jack that was not capable of lifting my truck then had to wait another 45 minutes for another guy to bring one then doesn't have the right tools to take my wheel off. Then he asked me if I have the tools and I said I called you and he's like are you serious? You don't have these tools and argues with me then slams my rim down and says we have to wait for a tow truck so that was another 45 minutes and then A semi truck hits both of our trucks and this clown gets a lawyer and tries to sue me for his mess ups and showing up to a job with the wrong tools and not prepared. To think that this guy was trying to sue me is crazy. This place is very unprofessional. They send out clowns that take their shirts off on the middle of the freeway in the middle of the night. Then they wanted to fix my truck and pull some scam and when I said no, I wanna go to my mechanic they charged me twice for a tow through AAA when they wouldn't have even had to tow if they didn't send a clown to change my tire. The car is unable to move from my street parking space to my parking lot the engine is broken ( the car is under investigation with the dealer who fixed the car) meaning unable to go to a mechanic . They mentioned tripple a would charge me and that they would do it if I worked out a deal on there behalf and moved it to there mechanic place. When I just needed it move to my parking space". Traaaaash company. One of their drivers hit my car and now are refusing to give insurance info. Won't fix my car. They've done nothing but give me the run around. Their driver did a hit and run on my car and do not care. Been trying to be nice and get things sorted out so I don't have to do the extremes but they're being so negligent and irresponsible. I'm not sure which Ammari Auto Center to leave a review for so I'll leave this for both - I got into an accident today, but i wanted to leave this review here before i forget to. To be honest I probably wont forget the level of service and kindness Charlie had showed me, with his patience to haul my truck all the way from North Hollywood to the LAX area in mid day traffic. He deserves the five stars because he gives 10 stars if there ever was such a thing, you're the best Charlie. You kept me calm throughout the entire process right after another driver smashed into my truck and I enjoyed the conversation! Four service providers and eight hours later of contracted repair persons, and not one individual was able to pull my car out of the low ceiling garage, or would not provide that service. Hratch with Ammari Towing (Auto Center) checked every single box for us. he was early prior to just on time. He had an upbeat and calming demeanor which was needed in a situation like this - we thought he wasn't gonna be able to do the impossible, and upon what we thought was him leaving was.... a Hail Mary ball Hail Mary's!!! he literally came back with a different vehicle and was able to get a Ford escape out of a 6 foot top ceiling garage with a lot of elbow grease and a lot of love for the labor but we're not done there. He provided me itemized instructions on what to do and what to say to my insurance company because I wasn't able to have it towed to the at this time now past 4:30 PM - so he decided to let me know he would be storing it and provided me written play-by-play to get it to Mercury insurance service so providers tomorrow. he maintained professional conversation afterwards making sure I received all the right documents. I understood what I was going to do and never once did it feel like he was fetching or pandering this was a person who is brilliant at his job, and I could not recommend him more. While driving home tonight, one of your drivers (California license plate 92786Z2) began driving erratically and acted in a completely dangerous manner outside of North Hollywood. Presumably frustrated because we had been stuck in traffic for over 30 minutes on 170, he was behind my vehicle (several cars back) when we exited the freeway. There was a left-hand lane and right-hand lane- he chose to speed along the shoulder on the right-hand lane, push in my sideview mirror, and start forcing himself into my lane. During this time he flipped me off and began cursing and screaming at me to get off my phone. I also agree that no one should be on their phone while driving, except 1) I wasn't on my phone, and 2) he was the one driving illegally. If you like incompetence and lies, you've come to the right place! Tow appointment scheduled the day before for 11 AM, driver actually picked up the car at 4:30 PM. I called multiple times to be lied to each time: driver just left the shop; driver is 25 minutes away; driver just finishing up a job; driver getting close; etc. When I told them to stop lying to me, they hung up on me and stopped taking my calls. After installation he turned my steering 20 times at least from left to right and right to left which affected the mechanism And now whenever I turn my car The steering makes a noise. Ammari Towing Co.aka Ammari Auto Center is a towing company contracted by AAA roadside service. They are shady, nefarious, dishonest crooks and their conduct corncerning me is almost criminal. I had a service call in the North Hollywood area and an Ammari tow trick driver was sent out to tow my vehicle which wouldn't start. He pushed my car backwards and did damage to my drivers door. They bottom of the door hit a raised curb and the damage was estimated at $701.29. When I heard the impact and all backward motion stopped I approached just in time to see the driver lift the door off the curb and act as if nothing happened. I took pictures. When the driver dropped the car off at an alarm shop, I asked him to exchange information and he quickly drove off and said it wasn't his fault. It was his fault because if he had pushed the car outward in a 3 point turn maneuver, he would have caused no damage. He also barely missed impacting a car that was parked next to me on the other side by about 6 inches. I reported this to AAA roadside service and they said they would get beck to me in 72 hours. AAA proved negligent and never generated a report or a response. I had to claim the damage with my insurance and my insurance agent agreed that the Ammari employee was at fault. I took my car to Ammari Auto Center in Sun Valley to have them inspect the damage. An Ammari employee asked me to follow him to a body shop. I followed him to a nearby salvage yard. It is not a licensed body shop and a AAA roadside supervisor told me later that this was totally improper and contrary to AAA's standard operating procedures. The salvage worker asked me if I could leave the car with him for 1 hour. I said no. They took all my personal and vehicle information, but didn't give me a written estimate. About a week later, I went to the Ammari tow yard to drop off the estimate I obtained from Caliber Collision. I dropped off a copy of the estimate on the receptionist's desk. When I was exiting the yard, Yesman Ammari was screaming "F*** you at me and telling me to "get the F*** out of here." I repaired the car. I paid a deductible of $500 + various expenses. Yesman Ammari and AAA Roadside services refuse to disclose their insurance carrier to my insurance adjuster. I have reported Ammari Auto Center to the State of CA Insurance Commissioner, the Better Business Bureau, and have reported the damage to my car to the DMV. I tried to file a police report but was told me it was a civil matter. Beware of them. If they damage your car, just call the LAPD if they refuse to exchange information. You won't get any assistance from AAA Roadside Services. They are in bed together. AAA promises they will assist and then they take no action. My initial complaint to AAA Roadside service on the day of the damage was reported and dismissed because the Ammari employeee said it was not his fault. AAA subsequently stopped their investigation. AAA did not call me back in 72 hours as promised. AAA finally advised me that they concluded their investigation in this matter months earlier. They disclosed this only because I reported them to the Better Business Bureau. I had no choice but to file a claim with my own insurance. When I advised AAA roughly two weeks after the date of loss about the claim, the AAA rep. said basically; AAA Roadside service reps are under a gag order and cannot assist me or my insurance adjuster with providing information and cannot compel Ammari to share their insurance carrier info with my insurance adjuster. Yesman Ammari and his employee are not qualified to make a determination of fault. Auto Insurance representatives are exclusively qualified to make a determination of fault. Yesman Ammani knows that if his insurance company mediates in this matter, his driver will definitely be found at fault. The photographs I took of the scene clearly attest to negligence of the tow truck driver and his poor judgment. Yesman Ammari and AAA provided terrible service and should be held accountable. My insurance company has initiated collections on Ammari Auto Center. read more
