I went in for transmission fluid change earlier in February in my Toyota Camry 2018. I bought OEM Toyota transmission fluid and asked Joe to help do drain and fill.The drain and fill was completed. After that there was a rough driving issues started. I went back to show my car to joe and he drove the car he told me he don't see any issues. I wanted him to check transmission fluid port on if there is low transmission fluid he didn't agree and told me I might be overthinking. I went to different mechanic in April and he checked. I paid $100 to reopen the port for transmission fluid and what we saw was no fluid came out from the primary port. He added 0.5 quarters left. The issues I have had for rough idle and need to have higher RPM on slope went away completely.According to him you have to keep the car running when you drain the fluid and you need to have it at the right temperature he said the drain and fill wasn't done correctly that's why there was still room for fluid. The viscosity of the fluid makes a difference in how much you can fill and drain. He double checked for leakage and there were no leaks either. When I went to joe and asked about don't you have to keep car warm to see if temperature is right? He said you only do it when there is a leak. I don't think Joe knew enough about mechanics of New car. I wasn't overthinking when I went to ask Joe for help and asked to recheck the transmission fluid. I paid $260 for labor only( $160 to Joe and $100 to another mechanic) for same job. It's really absurd. Overall this could have damaged my transmission. I think for future the customer advise should be taken seriously. I know my car well so I know when it's not acting good. I have been driving it from 10 years.

Recently he noticed the battery light stayed on and several electrical things weren't working correctly. Thankfully he drove the truck straight back to his apartment. Since I don't know any repair shops in the area and didn't want to deal with towing the truck somewhere, I searched for a mobile mechanic and found On The Go Mechanic. I reached out around 7 PM on a Friday, and he responded by 9 PM that same night. By 10 AM Saturday morning, he was already at my son's apartment. The diagnostic was $75, and he quickly confirmed the problem was the alternator. He explained that it might take until Tuesday or Wednesday to locate the correct OEM alternator and mentioned he prefers OEM because many aftermarket ones don't last as long. I appreciated the honesty. He didn't require a deposit and said he'd call when he located the part. To my surprise, first thing Monday morning he called to say he had tracked one down, but there were two possible versions and he needed to remove the old one to confirm which was correct. He came out, removed the alternator, sourced the right replacement, and returned shortly after. After a deposit for the part, he finished the job in about two hours, including reinstalling everything. He even sent me a video of the truck running with the correct voltage reading, which was great since I wasn't there in person. Because I was coordinating everything remotely from Ventura, this could have been stressful -- but he made the whole process very easy, transparent, and professional. Communication was excellent and payment through Zelle was simple. If you' need a reliable mobile mechanic, I would absolutely recommend On The Go Mechanic.

Francisco and company came to do a "repair" on one of my work vans. The van was having an issue…read moreturning over, and after charging me $55 for an inspection (I was notified of the fee AFTER the inspection), Francisco and his worker determined that I needed a new starter. The problem is after paying $500 for a new starter, my van still wouldn't start. After hours of trial and error, the mechanic decided to clean my battery terminals. Once finished, the mechanic determined it was a dirty terminal/battery issue, and not the starter. I could have cleaned the battery terminals for free. I could have bought a new kit for the terminals for $20 on Amazon. Instead, I'm out $500 for a starter I didn't need. I tried looking for a solution with Francisco. I tried to be understanding as I am a business owner as well, and I know mistakes happen. However, Francisco only offered me my $55 inspection fee back. At first, I was insulted. I could have a asked for a complete refund. But then I thought to myself, I'll just take the $55 and be done with this problem. We are going on 4 days, I have been left on read multiple times, and am still waiting on the $55. I tried to be nice but instead feel taken advantage of. I know how costly these reviews are to businesses, I hope it was all worth your $55.

When i asked for a quote it went from $1,400 then he bumped it up to $2,650 then again bumped it up to $3,252 and wasn't done yet he either missed something on the estimate or had not done a job like this before because after all that he wanted another $440 because he didn't realize that when removing lifters, cam and timing chain you have to out the engine back on time, thats some mechanic but even then i agreed to pay but only to catch his worker trying to add water into my coolant reservoir like if he didnt know that water doesn't mix with all coolants. The day after he " finished" I realized 3 bolts on the cylinder head were broken when i brought this up the answer was " we dont fix that so thats why the mechanic didnt even bring it up".. after that i realized that my oil pressure had dropped significantly and his answer to that is that my oil pump had suddenly gone bad. Thats same day my car got a check engine for a lean condition and as days passed i got another code for a cylinder misfire then another code for random cylinders misfiring. The only thing my vehicle had was a tick but after these guys worked on it came with way more and worst problems. After notifying francisco of all this he just stopped replying. That is no way to make business. Id stay away from giving them any business, they might be okay for small maintenance jobs but thats about it.

What's noteworthy is that they kept communication throughtout the process beyond my own Insurance company. In fact, once the damages were evaluated my insurance company was only allowing the body shop to repair versus replace a few a components. Can't thank the shop staff enough for not allowing my insurance to cut corners. They sent me documents from the manufacture showing the guideline on what is not repairable. With this information, the insurance company didn't take another second to revise the repair order to replace with new parts. I didn't expect such things ever to occur but then again insurance company is also a business who try's to minimize their overhead. For Mercedes owners in search of a reliable and certified body shop, I wholeheartedly recommend The Shop Collision Center. They truly have cusotmers best interest in mind.

Overall bumper repair looks flawless, I can't tell where the dent repair was done. I had no clue about a new offer for check in. They told me to claim it and I received 300$ detail for free. The Yelp reviews were on point, and so far I've had very good experiences here; taking my Jeep Grand Cherokee for a variety of maintenance - oil changes, services and repairs. Ralph has been available to take care of any issue when I've just dropped in. I took these pix in my visit today as I needed a cracked plastic seat panel changed out. Ralph and his talented Mechanics have taken care of my car and I highly recommend them.

The cylinder head repair was described as the more economically reasonable option at the time, and I relied on that professional assessment in making my decision. The repair took over one month to complete, and the cylinder head was sent to an external machine shop. Although outsourced, the repair was coordinated, billed, and released under his shop's responsibility. I proceeded with this shop because I needed reliable transportation for work and was informed the repair would take approximately a month. The availability of a loaner vehicle allowed me to continue working during that extended repair period, which was a significant factor given the timeline. After the vehicle was returned to me, it broke down on the freeway. I was then informed that the cylinder head could not be reprocessed and that the only remaining option was to purchase a replacement engine. At that stage, I no longer had a functioning vehicle, so this was not an elective decision but the only viable remedy presented. Before purchasing the replacement engine, I consulted with (David the owner) regarding where to source it and whether I should proceed. I relied on his confirmation before moving forward. While labor was not charged for the engine installation, no warranty was provided on that work. Regardless of warranty terms, the obligation to disclose safety related defects prior to releasing a vehicle remains. In his comment, he states that engine mount replacement was recommended. I was not provided with any written estimate, documentation, or verbal recommendation to replace the engine mounts prior to installation or before the vehicle was released. The condition of the mounts was identified only after I obtained an independent inspection due to ongoing noise concerns. That inspection revealed multiple broken engine mounts and a severely worn transmission mount. If mount replacement had been clearly recommended before release, it would have been documented and addressed at that time. My concern has consistently been transparency, communication, and the release of a vehicle with undisclosed safety related defects. This response reflects my experience and the events as they occurred.

David even showed me the location of where the crack was on the old radiator. Overall very satisfied with the work. I tend to get anxious leaving my car with someone else to work on it due to how much work I put into getting the vehicle. But with David he made me feel like he also understands the value of what good work should be and how to do things the right way. Buddy Paint's estimate was about 20% higher, but I still decided to go with Buddy's because of the 5-Year material & labor warranty (the other company did not offer any warranty) and the feedback from the customer I spoke to. I also felt like Robert would take care of us. The crew was friendly and efficient. They prepped the home well. Robert was responsive when we told him of a few spots that needed extra attention. There was one issue (accidental damage) that I wish would have been proactively handled. But Robert worked with me to resolve to our satisfaction. Overall, we love the new look of of our home. Our neighbors complimented the work. The crew did an excellent job and had great attention to detail. Robert was a great with communication and follow through. I took it in to a place AAA recommended in downtown LA and explain the issue. They told me I needed a new timing chain along with a whole bunch of other stuff and quotes me $4800 for it. This was preceded with a lot of scare tactics on what will happen if I don't have the work done, which came across as very used car salesman-ish. When I ran the quote through ChatGPT I was told they were charging me dealership pricing for an independent mechanic for that type of work in LA. So I brought the truck here to Speedway where I had Minor worked done before and had a good experience. They told me my bearings need to be replaced and did the work for lesson than a quarter of the price I was quoted at the other mechanic. Work was finished in a day and the truck has been running perfectly since then. Had I spent to 4800 at the place it wouldn't have even resolved the issue, which means I would've had to come out of the pocket even more after the initial work was done. Obviously a truck of this age is gonna have some problems and when they inevitably happen again I will be back here at Speedway to take care of them. Highly recommend this place for integrity, quality, efficiency and fair pricing.

I've never been so mad with someone in all my life. I've used this place in the past and they were great. However, today Ed made me so mad I could have choked him. I called yesterday about an oil change on Monday and was told to get the stuff and bring it in. My new job called and needs me to report to work Monday over 1500 miles away, so I needed an oil change today. I called and the mechanic said Ed was out and would be back in 30 mins. An hour later no call back and I called again. The mechanic laughed and said he left again but would be right back and ask what I needed. I told him. He said they weren't busy and to come on up they would get it knocked out for me. I get there 30 mins later and Ed comes in the office and ask "what do you want". I tell him the mechanic said come on up for an oil change. He looks at me like I'm speaking another language and says "did I call you"? I tell him no but your mechanic said come up. He says, I don't care what he said he isn't the owner. So basically his mechanic isn't competent enough to let customers know when to come up for an oil change. I mean if that stood true all the way across business, when we go to other large businesses and employees tell us something should be not believe them since they don't own the place. Anyway Ed ends up following me out into the parking lot yelling at me like a total idiot. I was wondering how he has 5 stars, I'm guessing after that they are family, friends or people he has paid to leave a good review. What a nightmare!!! read more

this place is FAR from GOOD, and GOOD from FAR.... verry dissapointed from snake charming tactics. Ed the owner really screwed up my car. have the evidence confirmed by another shop in burbank. i towed my car to him last summer, 2005 vw tuareg with no start. he kept the car for 2 months with no straight answer . it would crank but no start, and he kept telling me it could be this, it can be that. every 7-8 days i would call and ask of the progress, " i have been busy, next week" was the standard answer..... finnally fed up, towed my car somewhere else.. BOOM. !! the mechanic calls me next day!!! my car is running. wow!! i cant beleve it. WTF??? are u serious??/ i go to see it . he told me that my wife accidentally put diesel fuel inside the fuel tank maybe half of ot. drained and refilled with gasiline and started right up. they told me Ed also damaged my front axle , ( obviously we drove the car normally before the wrong fuel was added ) after 1200 bucks we have been driving it with no issues. all those five star reviews we got fooled. so thank you to those face reviews... read more

Ed has only helped me one time but this one time was good enough to warrant a yelp review. Out of the blue my car turned off while I was driving down the road. I thought it was maybe a battery but triple a showed up and after they did their thing it was something else, not the battery for sure though. Auto trinity was the closest shop so I had my vehicle towed there. I was an unannounced customer at 2 p.m. Ed still came at me with a smile and inquired what was going on. I didn't expect to be helped immediately or anything like that. He told me he was booked the rest of the day but would look at it first thing in the morning to at least tell me what the situation was. He followed through on that and it was some problem with the battery being charged. It was fixed by the next day and at a price that almost had me fainting. This is the gold standard for auto repair service. read more

Would not recommend due to inconsistent, unreliable, hard to get straight answers. Mr. Ed was recommended based on reviews, but we found his auto knowledge to have limitations. Had only one visit, an oil change. Mr. Ed's prices are not "competitive", (commercial oil change company, was less expensive) and the work was, just, ok. He wasn't able to figure out why some warning lights were on dash ("just don't worry about them"), and he seemed either confused or simply disinterested in a basic transmission service question. read more

Ed was truly exceptional, he not only identified the primary source of the leak but also pointed out other areas where slow leaks were occurring. He did not attempt to overcharge me for every potential repair, instead offering recommendations and proactively addressing other minor issues he noticed. Auto Trinity, Great quality, Great service, really dependable team and convenient . A place were you can come and just get everything done at a great price and in unbelievable timing. Been comming to Auto Trinity for a few years, the guys here have never let me down, really promising people. Stopped by this morning (on a saturday) got a brake change and a tune up within a 2 hours, BTW most places are closed on Saturday. Really convenient for me since I work all buisness days. Ed is hands down the best in the business. I've had my Mazda maintained and repaired at his shop a couple times now, and he's always been super friendly and honest. He gives great advice about your car and is super knowledgeable in any car brand. Fixed my Mazda and my friend's Lexus. Long story short.... Took my GTI to a few different spots, none of them found the diagnonsis did the job correctly. Car/turbo boost was still acting up... The cylinder head repair was described as the more economically reasonable option at the time, and I relied on that professional assessment in making my decision. The repair took over one month to complete, and the cylinder head was sent to an external machine shop. Although outsourced, the repair was coordinated, billed, and released under his shop's responsibility. I proceeded with this shop because I needed reliable transportation for work and was informed the repair would take approximately a month. The availability of a loaner vehicle allowed me to continue working during that extended repair period, which was a significant factor given the timeline. After the vehicle was returned to me, it broke down on the freeway. I was then informed that the cylinder head could not be reprocessed and that the only remaining option was to purchase a replacement engine. At that stage, I no longer had a functioning vehicle, so this was not an elective decision but the only viable remedy presented. Before purchasing the replacement engine, I consulted with (David the owner) regarding where to source it and whether I should proceed. I relied on his confirmation before moving forward. While labor was not charged for the engine installation, no warranty was provided on that work. Regardless of warranty terms, the obligation to disclose safety related defects prior to releasing a vehicle remains. In his comment, he states that engine mount replacement was recommended. I was not provided with any written estimate, documentation, or verbal recommendation to replace the engine mounts prior to installation or before the vehicle was released. The condition of the mounts was identified only after I obtained an independent inspection due to ongoing noise concerns. That inspection revealed multiple broken engine mounts and a severely worn transmission mount. If mount replacement had been clearly recommended before release, it would have been documented and addressed at that time. My concern has consistently been transparency, communication, and the release of a vehicle with undisclosed safety related defects. This response reflects my experience and the events as they occurred.

I've dropped off the car right when they open at 8am, and received a text saying that my vehicle was ready for pick up at 12pm. Over fast and efficient work. David even showed me the location of where the crack was on the old radiator. Overall very satisfied with the work. I tend to get anxious leaving my car with someone else to work on it due to how much work I put into getting the vehicle. But with David he made me feel like he also understands the value of what good work should be and how to do things the right way. I will be bringing my business back here for any future projects/issues.

He arrived after his normal operating hours and immediately got to work. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable and efficient, but he went far beyond what was originally discussed. He quickly diagnosed the issue, helped complete the repair, and patiently waited while my husband went to purchase the correct parts, which took an additional 20-40 minutes. Once the parts arrived, Art finished the installation, reassembled everything that had been removed, and even cleared the error codes the vehicle had thrown during the repair process. My review is gonna be long but please read. I didn't read the reviews and now this happened…read more I came here about two months ago because the A/C in my car wasn't working. When I originally made the appointment, I was told there would be around a $200 diagnostic charge to determine what was wrong with the A/C. They diagnosed a problem with the blower motor and fuse, replaced them, and the A/C was working and blowing cold afterward. My total bill, including an oil change, was almost $800. Three days ago, the A/C stopped cooling and started blowing warm air, although air is still coming out of the vents. I went back today because it has only been two months since the repair. The customer service I received when I returned was terrible. Before even looking at the car, I was told they didn't have time and that I needed to make an appointment. I explained that I had already brought the car to them for the A/C problem only two months ago and showed my receipt. I was then told that because air is still coming out of the vents, the blower motor they replaced is working, so the fact that the air is no longer cold must be "something else." When I asked if they had checked the entire A/C system during the original visit, I was told there was "nothing to check" because the air was cold after they replaced the blower motor. I understand that the blower motor and the components that actually cool the air are different, and I am not claiming that the blower motor they installed has failed. What I don't understand is how I was originally told there would be around a $200 charge to diagnose my A/C problem, but now I'm being told there was "nothing to check" beyond the blower motor because the air happened to be cold at that moment. More than anything, I was disappointed by the way I was treated when I came back. I wasn't demanding a free repair or accusing them of doing anything wrong. I simply expected them to take my concern seriously, especially after spending almost $800 there only two months ago. Instead, I felt dismissed from the moment I arrived. I will be taking my car somewhere else. Regardless of what the new A/C problem turns out to be, I would not return here because of the horrible customer service and also They don't stand behind their work.
