One of the things that really sold me on this place is the knowledgeability and professionalism of the staff. I walked in to get a scope mount put on my Mosin that required drilling and tapping. The guy who does most of that work for ProGun was mature and professional enough to tell me that that particular mount he is not very good at mounting and has screwed a few up, but it didn't stop there, he actually recommended me to someone that is good at this sort of work on this sort of rifle. That to me speaks volumes about the type of business this is and the type of people the owners and staff are. Even though there are gun stores closer to me (liberty gun shop....yuck) this will be my go to gun stores for as long as it remains open. Highly recommended.

The staff kind and had patience and compassion with us in a difficult time. I cannot easily state how much the process was easy, and while not painless also not tied up in bureaucracy as I had expected it to be. The young woman who was helping us was incredible (I unfortunately cannot remember her name, and I hate that. I'd really like to call her out by name). The little I looked at the firearms pricing I think they are very competitive, but as a non-New Yorker for the past 38 years, I can't purchase there so I didn't dig in deep. We also picked up a little Camo outfit for our 18Month old grandson while there. Pricing for the work they did was very reasonable, and she made sure we were getting enough insurance in case the unthinkable happened. I cannot say how they improved a horrible moment for us. Walking in this is very different from most gun stores I've been in; it has a high end feel, it's super clean, and the staff are very welcoming and approachable. This feels like a jewelry store / boutique, not a back alley shady place. All the displays are clean, well organized and well lit so you can see their offerings very clearly. There is a wide variety of hand guns, long guns, shot guns, along with scopes / optics, knives, and even gun accessories / parts / cleaning supplies. As a fairly new outdoorsman, it was refreshing to have someone talk to me on my knowledge level, and put things in a manner that was easy to understand. They made recommendations on several pistols that would fit my use, and even showed me some very rare models well out of my price range which was very cool because I would likely never have that opportunity otherwise. I wish the team there the best of luck, they are doing a great job and will be a breath of fresh air in the community through their stewardship and knowledge of firearms.
