We came here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and we didn't know what to expect. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a kind host and the restaurant as an Italian glamour charm to it with all the wood, gold accents and romantic chandelier lighting. We stopped to celebrate an anniversary and we're very impressed with our dining experience. The hotel is really beautiful as you come in. They have 3 different dining areas-bar, dining room and a private dining area. We had reservations and were seated immediately. The waiter did an excellent job of explaining items from the menu and how the dishes were prepared. For starters we had the fried calamari and fried mozzarella, both were an excellent start to our meals. I had the ribeye dinner which was cooked at the perfect temperature. We also had the Amore pasta special which was penne served over Italian sausage. In addition the Veal Chop Parmesan was excellent as well. We really enjoyed the meal and service at this place and will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. read more

We went for a family dinner on a early Saturday evening. The dining room is elegant, but a little dark. There is a large variety of items in the menu. There should be something to suit any taste. My mother greatly enjoys this restaurant so I usually come with her for an early dinner. This time I decided to try the rigatoni alla vodka instead of my usual chicken piccata. The pasta was great and the sauce had a rich flavor.. the chicken was burnt and quite thin which was disappointing because it costs an extra $5-6 (cant remember off the top of my head). Worth the Wait! This cozy Italian spot has an old-school charm with a fresh twist. When we arrived, no one greeted us right away and we waited about 10 minutes before being seated--it looked like a one-woman show up front. But once we were seated, everything turned around! Our server was friendly, quick, and had great recommendations. The homemade mozzarella sticks were the best I've ever had--so fresh and flavorful. We both ordered salads with chicken (no pasta), and they were honestly the best salads I've ever eaten. Even the folks who waited with us came over later raving about their meals. I never heard of putting bacon on a saltimbocca. Pus the veal was tough and grizzly. My wife sea bass smelled like it was delivered on Friday and it was a Sunday. I should know better. We made a reservation for 6:30 pm today. It turned out to be the worst day to eat here. I think they over-booked their reservations or the kitchen could not keep up. We waited till 6:50 pm and still nowhere closed to getting seated. Husband peeked into the dining room and saw more than 5 tables waiting for service. We left and went for ramen. The restaurant called at 7:09 pm to say our table was ready, that would make our wait 40 minutes. Wonder how long the walk-ins have to wait tonight. We may come back and tried but it was not a good experience for 1st time. read more

This Italian restaurant was an unexpected surprise. Before I explain how the service was great and the food was delicious, you might want to arrive early or plan to wait. When we went there, I swear the whole town was there. I'm not joking! We chose to eat outside which was 100% shaded and pleasant. The server was attentive and took on all the tables outside. It was impressive. From the menu we ordered cheese pizza and Chicken Parmigiana and both were tasty and had amazing flavor. They also had fresh bread accompanied the table. All of our dishes were yummy, and I would order them again. This was one of my favorite Italian restaurants, and I travel all over the United States. We took my granddaughter and her friend for an early dinner at Amore. we were greeted by the friendliest and personable hostess. She really made us feel welcomed. Our server Ernie was absolutely exceptional! He gave us great suggestions on choices for an entree. The bread is always warm and delicious and love the dipping oil. the girls gobbled up their chicken parm and my husband enjoyed his rigatono with sausage. I ordered the pasta primavera. I was disappointed in the dish. It lacked any flavor and the vegetables were few and far between. I ate it because I was hungry and when I added some salt it did bring out a little taste of garlic. I know this was a one off for Amore so I just won't order it again. All in all Amore is the best restaurant in the Clermont area for ambiance, exceptional service, welcoming atmosphere and great food! read more

First couple of time the restaurant was first class and the food was spot on. Now if you want a quiet dinner you need to go early as the parents have to entertain their kids with loud iPads or let them just run around. Food was below average, pene ala-vodka had no taste and the chicken on top had no seasoning. I'm originally for NY and this place made me feel like I was back home. I didn't take pics because I was in the moment but we started with the Fried Calamari. Delicious and so fresh. I had a Caesar salad before my main and even it was fantastic. The proper balance of dressing and parmesan cheese just made it so delicious. For my main I had the chicken parm. While I thought the portion of pasta could have been a little larger, the pasta was cooked to perfection and tasted homemade and the chicken cutlets were delicious as well. Disappointed Mother's Day Dinner. Shrimp Scampi taste like they pour a bottle of lemon juice on it. It was replaced with different dish, which was descent. The Chicken Parm was over fried and the cheese wasn't melted. The server or the manager never came over to apologize. The antipasti appetizer was not worth the price. The service was really poor. Went there back in February Could not believe that I received a bill for $46 for a bowl of pasta and two meatballs when contacting the company for a copy of the receipt. I've only been waiting now over a month for a follow up phone call I wouldn't recommend the restaurant to no one for the type of lack of communication portion of food nor service. read more

This was our first time visiting Amore. We were greeted by a very friendly young lady and shown to a table. The restaurant atmosphere was great, like an Italian villa with comfortable seating. There is a wide variety of of menu items and they all sounded delicious. We had the Chicken Parmigiana which was very tasty, the Italian sausage with rigatoni, clams with linguini and Veal Marsala over pasta. Great menu for kids as well. Our server Riley was excellent and our water glasses were never empty. Our granddaughter was excited to learn our server's name was the same as her sisters. The only critique I would have is that the Veal Marsala was excellent, very tender, but very salty. We certainly will return to have great food and service In future! read more

Absolutely incredible! We cannot wait to return. Our experience began with a warm welcome by the staff. We were then whisked away to a table that was very clean and decorated cute! Our server which was the bartender was absolutely outstanding his knowledge on the food, wine and dessert truly made the experience over the top. His attention to details and care for our experience compliments the food beautifully. We had the veal parm and chicken piccata followed by the cheesecake. The cheesecake has a weird green apple sauce but was great. The entrees slapped hard. Their sauce is a little on the sweet side but overall leaves a nice lingering taste in your mouth. The environment is very nice. Servers were friendly and helpful. Let's talk about food: Meatball was juice and very tasty, the mozzarella on top, delicious. Mozzarella sticks, very flavorful. Calzone, the filling was good, but dough was not crispy, same as their bread served in the beginning. Their balsamic sauce let the olive oil bitter. Entrees took 1 hour to be served, while the appetizers 5 minutes. Carbonara has a watery sauce with no flavor. Spinach ravioli was ok, but missing sauce on top (we were based on the picture took 2 weeks ago. Sangria was just wine and orange juice, and the orange pieces was old and let a bitter taste. read more
