My daughter and I went here to get desserts for a small dinner party. We also had a quick lunch--splitting a turkey sandwich. It was delicious--comes with a small selection of greens. the desserts are amazing. Definitely a Parisian flare! And, the decor mirrors the French ambiance. We ended up with a selection of eight. Since we were visiting family in Cummings, we stopped by here before going to their house. What we got here was a surprise. One of the few places that just hits the European taste. The desserts that we got were not too sweet. Mango passion fruit, and a choux a la creme, which is just a soft shell and then filled with whipped cream. And the whipped cream was definitely not out of a can, it's just different when it's a fresh cream. It wasn't extremely sweet and just lightly dusted with powdered sugar. If you're trying to find a good place to get desserts, I would definitely recommend this place. The inside is cute with plenty of seating. Amore Mio is tucked in the back of a department store, and I would consider is a hidden gem of Cummings. read more

Lunch with girlfriends today - all had a panini type sandwich - very good. But what blew me away were the pastries. I had the pistachio cream filled pastry (not sure of the name...it wasn't the pistachio croissant) - it was one of the best pastries I have ever put in my mouth. Unbelievable - so rich, creamy, the pastry so fresh - like a pillow. So many more of the pastries looked absolutely beautiful and delicious as well. I will be back! I got 2 mango passion fruit profiterol to go. One of the profiterol that goes on the top was missing the cream filling and both were kind of dry... flavor wise, nothing tasted like passion fruit or mango, it rather tasted more like peach jam/ preserve in a very gelatinous mass instead of creamy mousse. Croissants were the highlight of our haul. Buttery, flaky and well filled. We tried the pistachio, Oreo and brûlée caramel pastries. They were all cloyingly sweet but lacked depth flavor. While they're strikingly beautiful there was not even a hint of pistachio flavor; no nutty, salty and sweet complexity just flat sweet gelatinous mousse. Oreo surprisingly had the best texture and flavor. Brûlée caramel was decent but at $8 not worth the cost. Beautiful treats but lacking in flavor and overly sweet. We would return to try more of the croissant options. read more

Cumming Ga has a delicious European Pastry shop with a lovely chef who trained in Paris, France. I travel to Europe for work and have come to love the French Pastry Cafes and Coffee Shops. I don't have to fly to Paris anymore with Amore Mio serving up both as well as lunch items like paninis, quiche and other delicious treats. This is the best pastry shop I've found in Atlanta! We have tried a variety and everything is just as delicious as the next. The owner is onsite working her magic almost daily. They are closed on Mondays. Amore Mio is a European pastry shop that opened earlier this month. They offer traditional pastries such as croissants, eclairs, macarons, and tarts. They also serve sandwiches, coffee, and more. I stopped by Sunday afternoon for some treats. I was greeted upon entering. Masks are required, hand sanitizers provided, and social distancing enforced. The space isn't huge, but there's plenty of seating. Each table had a vase with fresh red roses. Nice touch. They close at 3pm on Sundays and I arrived around 2pm. Many of the items were already sold, but I was still able to choose from at least five different items. I ordered the following: Chocolate eclair $3.75 Coffee eclair $3.75 Creme brulee ~$4 Raspberry chocolate delight $4 The pastries were absolutely delightful and not overly sweet. They were a good size and reasonably priced. The only bad thing about Amore Mio is that it's located right next to my gym, Burn Boot Camp. A gem that can be missed if you happen to drive by taco bell in Cumming. Came across this place when visiting taco bell and glad i found it! This european bakery serves variety of desserts and they are bomb! High quality, not too sweet and plenty of options to choose from. I been told they do change the dessert menu every season. Meh! I have mixed reviews. The desserts are truly picture perfect! So nice that you feel bad eating them. :). I've been here twice. My first visit I chose 5 different individual desserts. I took them to a dinner party. For me personally, I am not really into very fancy desserts and most of the ones I chose were mousse based (they were just ok). Again they look beautiful tons of skill goes into these, you can tell. My friends thought they were ok, nobody really raved about any of them. I was so excited for the apple/pear? Pie, it has a strange consistency However, on the flip side, my son said the the cream brûlée was the best he has ever had! We've come back for more! read more

What a pleasant surprise !!!! I was trying to find a cupcake bakery for my friends birthday celebration and I stumbled upon this place online . I drove to the shop and picked 6 different pastries.. And gosh I am glad I did . The baker was around when I picked these so I had best suggestions from her . The hazelnut and mango pineapple gotta be my fav pick from the 6 . I Am especially a fan of the bee cupcake made of lemon vanilla. It was just way too cute to be consumed . I have gone back twice in 4 days . Kudos to the owner for being such a sweetheart . I met with the baker about catering for an event, and almost nothing went according to plan. 1. She up-charged me 20$ on the day of the delivery, without a heads up or a reason. She refused to let me pay with card on the day i placed the order and asked that i pay cash on the pick up day, which i found to be strange but didn't question her. Maybe it was intentional so she could up-charge at the last minute? I'm not sure, but I definitely wonder if she's done this to others. 2. She made the wrong cake filling: we agreed on cherry, she made raspberry. 3. I asked for the cake to have flowers on top, and specifically asked her not to use a mini macaron as decoration, and she used a mini macaron as decoration and there was no flower in sight. The only thing she got right was basically the color of the cake. It amazed me how unprofessional she was. I basically paid 104$ for something i didn't want, and the baker wouldn't even admit that she made a mistake (or several). I'm definitely sticking with Colette's for my family's future holiday celebrations and birthdays. Very disappointing. read more

You ask for one thing and you'll get another. People seem nice and promising but when you go home you realize it's not what you asked for. Weirdly, any conversation you have related to larger orders sounds fishy and needs to be in cash... The only thing worth buying are the croissants but everything else looks great on the outside with no flavor or proper content on the inside. I thought i found a decent french pastry place around cumming but unfortunately it's fake. read more

I don't know where to start... But, this sums up everything: They are AMAZING! Extremely professional and friendly staffs serve/feed you top notch pastries. I am in Las Vegas now and wanted to surprise my friend with beautiful cakes for her birthday. I called and spoke to the owner.... and guess what...! They accommodated the delivery to my friend's door, just like Postmates or DoorDash, which made this surprise birthday gift delivery happened for me. Do yourself a favor and TRY this place. Stale, overpriced food that has no real flavor to it. Yeah it looks pretty, but falls completely flat after that. The owner's attitude is just a joke. Toxic work environment and underpaid staff expected to do the job of multiple people. Don't waste your time or money here. Commented on their posting for a job for 3 different positions with only the pay of one. Here is the response! They want someone who will be a full time dishwasher, a full time takeout, and a line/pastry prep, but only pay you for doing one job. read more

I've passed by Amore Mio many times and wanted to go in so bad but never had time. I'm SO GLAD I finally did! I had to try multiple things, they are sounded and looked incredible. One of the owners was so welcoming and explained all of the different types of desserts to me and I never once felt nervous about ordering something unfamiliar. If you do feel nervous about it, trust me and just do it!!! Everything is beyond delicious! I had no idea what I was missing out on, but no other desserts will ever compare. read more

If you know you know! This place is a hidden little gem that I just found but is all over Focus on Forsyth! About as authentic as it gets when it comes to European style pastries! I tried several selections and my favorite was the crème brûlée. It had an amazing short bread crust and chocolate shavings on top. If you see anything with hazelnut, GET IT! I could also eat any of their croissants daily! Found out they supply those at my favorite coffee shop, Cips, and they serve Cips coffee here. Some of the best croissants I've ever had, and they make several flavors. My wife and I also had paninis, one Cuban, and one roast beef, and based on how good those were, I want to try all of their sandwiches! Make sure you locate this place! The service and quality of the food completes a wonderful package! You won't be disappointed! read more

After having a craving for some pastries we found this place online and we are very glad we did! My husband and I bought multiple desserts and croissants and so far everything we tried has been delicious! We enjoyed a ham and cheese croissant and coffee inside and took our other desserts to go. The woman who helped us out (I wish I had gotten her name) was incredibly friendly and welcoming, we will definitely be returning next time we want some pastries. Cutest little Euro Bakery right in Cumming on exit 13! As soon as we walked in we were taken through every dessert in the case which made it so hard to choose because they all looked and sounded fantastic! The service here was great and the sweets were delish! I loved my cute little cappuccino. The decor was chic and I loved the fresh cut red roses on the tables as well as the Paris decor. I had the lemon meringue and oh my - I had to get one to go along with some other things! It's so hard to find cafes like this anymore so I am ecstatic that we stumbled upon this gem. Every time I stop by here, it seems to be closed but when it isn't and you have the money to, definitely stop by! The crem brûlée is fresh and the crust isn't soggy one bit. The chocolate truffle dome is rich and melts in your mouth, and the chocolate and vanilla dome is light and airy. The only problem is that it can be a bit pricey but the quality of the treats here is top notch! read more

Love the aesthetic of the interior, cozy yet upscale coffee cafe vibe. The location is in Cumming off Peachtree Pkwy (141). I have been looking forward to Caribou making a comeback to the burbs near me. Milton opened earlier this year but this location is closer and I will be back for sure. There is indoor and outside seating and drive thru for on the go. The coffee is the best , nitro cold brew always a smooth balanced taste and my favorite is white/ chocolate mocha which is pure Ghirardelli chocolate. I have been a fan for years started in NC - and now I don't have to go too far to enjoy ! Stop by and try other pastries, and non caffeine drinks are served and it's almost Pumpkin season !

As for my latte, they had some fun seasonal offerings and I went with one that had pear in it. That was a total first for me and I had no idea what to expect. That said it was down right delicious and I would order it again. My sandwich was pretty mediocre if I'm being honest, but I was starving and there weren't many other options. I had a sour to start that was like a very tart pink lemonade. The pink color came from blueberries but I'm not sure I detected any blueberry flavor. My second beer was That Coconut Porter and it was mellow and smooth with good coconut flavor and nice dark color. There was lots of street parking and many shops and restaurants in the area. A band began playing in the taproom next to the restaurant at some time. Also a large outdoor space that was full of kids running around playing as I was going home. Looked like a fun place for everyone.

WOW! I wish this European bakery was in town.... my sister brought a big box of pastries for a dinner at my mom's house and we absolutely devoured them! The Choux a la creme was the favored treat of the evening. We cut 5 different pasteries into 5 servings so everyone could try a bite of each. I grabbed 2 of the Choux and my brother kept drooling at the piece I had left on my plate so I gave it to him but next time, no way! I want the entire pastry! If you're in the area don't miss out on this bakery and if the owners read this PLEASE consider opening a location in Midtown in the same shopping center as Trader Joe's on Monroe (by the beltline) - you would CRUSH it! read more

This is an adorable little bakery. They have the best dishes and are not that expensive. They are perfect for hosting small events such as baby showers or engagement parties.
