Really cute coffee shop that I randomly drove past and had to check out. There was a really long line and I'm not surprised considering how good their coffee was. We were told about Community Cup and finally decided we needed to locate it since Cumming will soon be our new home. And I love to support the local businesses especially when it comes to coffee. The chains are over rated and over priced, not to mention the hospitality at the mom & pop shops is so warm & friendly. We experienced that with Michelle who was working the day we visited. First off it can be just a tad challenging to get in and out of the parking lot due to the heavy used road at busy times of the day. The parking lot isn't a large one. But definitely worth the effort!! Inside there is plenty of room to sit and enjoy your coffee especially in the back room with tables and comfy chairs. As you enter, there are high bar tables & chairs. Have to play with a friend, hubby or significant other while sipping your drink. Wi-fi if you need it. Cute merch to purchase. Lots of coffee options, pastries, food specialty drinks. We opted for the Tiramasu Mocha. Oh my goodness in a cup...dark chocolate, smooth tasting and really not too sweet. My hubby & I shared due to the fact that's what we do!! The entire shop just invites you to sit a spell and enjoy your coffee. Very inviting!! The name is perfect, it screams community. First time checking this spot out. Super cute location near cumming city center / downtown cumming. 2 entrances with plenty of parking in front and back. Free Wi-Fi and they sell odds and ends as well supporting small local artisans and businesses. The staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable. I had an iced almond milk lavender and sugar free vanilla latte. It tasted amazing! They have multiple syrup choices and have at least 5 sugar free options as well! They also have a great selection of non dairy mills as well. They have some bagels and pastries to eat. A portion of their proceeds every month goes to cure childhood cancer. I came here on a weekday morning to do some work and check out the spot. There are two entrances. I parked on the gravel lot on the north side of the building and I came in what I consider the "back". There was an outside patio area and a handful of tables as I made my way to the front to order. In the front was a small area with tables and a bar. There is also outdoor seating with small tables outside the front area. The sign advertising the Peanut Butter Latte and it immediately jumped out at me that this is what I wanted to try since it was so unique. First off, this is definitely a dessert drink! It was so sweet, but I could still taste the coffee. It was loaded over the top with whip cream and candy toppings, served in a large glass jar. It was great, but I could not finish it all due to the sweetness. The wifi was fast though and I was able to take a meeting there with no issues. read more

I love a weekend coffee shop while doing some household book keeping and enjoy exploring local spots in the city and up north. Today I ventured up to Cumming to try Community Cup, a nice 35 min drive. I'm used to spending ~$18 for a large coffee + muffin in the city, along with the general hipster-annoyance of a judgmental barista. So, I experienced pleasant shock at the sincerely sweet & courteous service of the staff at Community Cup, so genuinely friendly! My cappuccino was enormous (bowl w handle) and delicious with a super creamy top. But the muffin, my God the blueberry muffin! Warned up, this thing was awesome! Super soft texture but maintains integrity so as not to crumble apart, easy to eat by hand or w a fork. ~$12 (including tip). I absolutely love this coffee shop, Community Cup you ROCK. So first off, no pictures of coffee. I had mine to go so a to go cup doesn't do this place justice. I tried to different flavors. The lavender vanilla and sugar free caramel. The flavors were great and not too sweet which is always a plus. The coffee was very smooth and not harsh even though I added an extra shot. The place itself has two entrances so if it looks small, keep going through to the other side for more seating. The staff is super friendly. Nice place to stop for coffee and Hot Chocolate while waiting for our Grandson to call us to come pick him up at the mall. First time stopping here and it is a comfy place to stop and chill. Our drinks where very good and the pie was outstanding. They have outdoor seating but after the snow this weekend that is not available. Stopped by for an afternoon pick-me-up. This adorable family-owned coffee shop is located in downtown Cumming. Parking is plentiful. Great space for working or just meeting someone for a drink. It has a nice, relaxing vibe. Ample tables and seating, including bar seating. Staff is friendly and helpful. I was greeted right away. In addition to their traditional brews, they also offer alcohol, a Nitro Bar and Signature drinks. The signature drinks come with oat milk and an optional "whip and shimmer." I went with their S'mores Mocha. It's available in regular, white, or dark chocolate. I ordered a white in 16 oz. for $6.50. The coffee had great flavor. Not too sweet, but not far from bland. I really enjoyed the real s'mores in it! Fun and delicious. I've recently learned that Community Cup supports CURE for Childhood Cancer, so "every drop counts" which is their motto. We were looking forward to checking this place out based on the (mostly) positive) reviews. Super cute location and the interior is welcoming and comfortable. They also offer vegan pastries, which we were excited to try (my boyfriend has a severe dairy allergy) and someone who seemed to be the manager was telling us about the pastries while we were in line. She was en route to the bathroom/storage room so it was as she was passing by. Anyways, we order coffees and planned to come back for pastries to take away. I ordered an Americano and my boyfriend ordered a nitro. He loves nitro and he was super excited about it and ordered an XL, which cost $9 and would have been worth it if it was good. Unfortunately it tasted TERRIBLE. At this point the same lady (manager?) was coming back to the front of house and when we made a comment, she mentioned they make their nitro different than anyone else. Well it would have been nice to know that before paying $9 for one that is terrible. My boyfriend tried to drink it but just couldn't and ended up getting a plain drip coffee. The Americano tasted like it was made over a campfire and not in a good way. It was super weak and the flavor it did have was bleh. When boyfriend took his drink back they had an attitude about it. Well maybe let people know before ordering that the nitro is totally different. It would have been nice if they had offered a pastry in exchange for the nitro since we paid $9 FOR A DRIP COFFEE!! It's a great place to grab coffee with a friend or study/do work. The staff was so friendly and helpful! This community has needed a coffee shop in a convenient location downtown for a long time. I have really enjoyed each of my visits and have gotten a wide variety of things. The vibe of the place feels more like you're at your neighbors house and less like an industrial garage full of strangers (a la Starbucks.) It's a kid friendly place in regards to their menu but they've also got a bar with nice TVs & alcohol to boot. You can't really go wrong hanging out here... Although I did not get to spend much time here, I can already tell that I would love to spend more time here! I anticipated getting some work done with some good cold brew here while I was waiting for my cousin who was nearby. I ordered a cheddar biscuit (Biscuit with cheddar cheese) and a cold brew. I could tell the owners put a lot of love into this place. I also noticed on the menu that a portion of the sale go to charities nearby.
