But YOU definitely need to Jump into your nearest vehicle and drive to sweet apple donut ASAP. Donuts are delightful (a nod to our former favorite donut shop, rip). The cream puff with fresh strawberries is what you absolutely must get. It's a side step away from the typical round dough yummy but oh-m-gee is it the best thing that I have put into my mouth in all of 2024. While you can eat there, inside or outside, it's very much a place for getting a box to take home. It's our hidden gem and we love it. My partner and I have been on a hunt for Starbucks replacements and this was one of our stops. The donuts were fresh and light and had great variety, especially for a weekday. Drinks (a mocha latte and jasmine milk tea) were good, if a touch expensive. For three donuts and two drinks the total came out to around $20, which is less than what we'd spend at Starbucks. I'm trying to understand how people gave this place a good reading when it's terribly expensive almost 6 dollars for two donuts!! The donuts were not even good at all. I love the Christian music and wish I could say that I love the donuts and that they were at least worth the price. If they're good donuts, you should be able to eat it and not taste any grease or anything like that in the aftertaste. This place deserves all the recognition it has received! I went in for the sourdough donut but was delighted with the unique offerings! One even had bacon and cheese on it! I remembered the reviews on this place being the BEST in Georgia, so I suggested we come here. We shared half a dozen donuts, and I wish I could share a picture, but we bodied that plate! The sourdough is unique and should NOT be skipped. The apple fritter is just what a fritter should be - crunchy, fluffy, lots of apple, sweet and fruity without being too sweet. My son got the blueberry glazed and he said it wipes any other donut shop off the map (wink wink). The strawberry cream is not like a donut at all; light, fresh, tart and sort of elegant. I love a good cake donut, crunchy on the outside and moist and slightly dense on the inside...glaze was sweet with a hint of vanilla. *chefs kiss* The sausage roll was pretty standard when compared to other shops that offer the same thing. The bread is a brioche hotdog bun flavor profile. I tend to like mine room temp, but in loving and typical Auntie/Mom/Grandma fashion...I was doing it wrong and the owner refused to let me have it any other way besides warmed up...so after a couple of "no it's fine" I caved and let her heat it up. The breakfast offerings are so good here, I wanted to give them a shout out because the eggs and meats taste as good as homemade! We went at 9:30 on a Sunday morning. This was the perfect time. They weren't out of anything and there was no line. Staff were wearing masks, but they didn't require customers to wear masks. We got 6 donuts. Here's what we got, in order of my preference: - Blueberry (cake): Very good - Cinnamon Sugar Twist (yeast): Good, but I wish we'd gotten the cake donut version - Chocolate-Covered Sour Cream (cake): Good, but hard - Muscle (cake): We tried it because it's made out of tofu and we were curious. Had we known it was also blueberry, we wouldn't have gotten the other blueberry cake donut. We couldn't tell that it was made out of tofu. But it was definitely harder than the other blueberry. - Eclair (yeast): Nothing special about it - Fresh Strawberry and Cream (yeast): Apparently this is their most popular; the cream tasted like Starburst, not a fan We also got a large drip coffee and two small iced coffees (one with brown sugar cinnamon flavoring and the other with pumpkin pie flavoring). We wouldn't get those flavors again. We would probably just go with normal cream and sugar. It came out to $23 for the 6 donuts and 3 coffees. She threw in some donut holes for us, which was nice! Really loved this donut shop! It is so cozy on the inside and when you walk in the smell of yummy donuts absolutely fills the air and is intoxicating. I'm a huge fan of some cream donuts which we ordered and LOVED. They do such a good job with them. We also ordered an apple fritter and that was filled with a cream and bananas (totally forgetting the name of it) overall really great donuts. There are so many donut shops in the OTP, I can't even count them all. We were in the area for a BBQ fest, so we decided to stop by afterward for a quick dessert. The shop was empty except for one other person leaving with their to-go order. The remaining donuts at this time was a bit skimpy, but it WAS Saturday early afternoon. Since there was a $10 card minimum, I took it upon myself to order an iced coffee, an extra donut AND pay for my friends (and not feel guilty about asking for them to chip in, thanks to Venmo). First time visitor here. Beats any other ones I have been in the neighborhood. We moved from New York City last fall and was looking for something better than Dunkin or Krispy Kreme! The store display is amazing! Everything looked so good. My only regret is that I did not buy the sourdough one. We tried about eight different types of donuts and they were all very good. I love old fashion sour cream donuts and there's is the best around here! There are used to donuts were light and fluffy and melt in your mouth. Super, super cute little shop with the nicest owners. They had a variety of Cale/yeast and specialty donuts. I am so excited to try their "muscle" (made with tofu) donuts! My beat friend stops here every time she comes to visit and is on her way back home. They had a beautiful fresh strawberry one that has been shown a lot on here. We also got the glazed donut, halved, with peanut butter, fresh bananas and chocolate glazed top. Fresh items are made daily and have a creative twist. They have a wide variety and though I came in around 10 on a Monday morning they were already almost at half of their goodies! I ordered some fun doughnuts and a couple of traditional items like glazed twist and regular but threw in the strawberry/creme (so pretty) and chocolate peanut butter banana heart. You can TELL these soft doughnuts are made fresh day. The quality is good, so you don't feel sick after eating and the size of each goodie is perfect. They do not put tons of sugar in their receipe so you if you don't like overly sweet doughnuts (yes, there is such a thing) you must try them out!
