Fried Green Tomato Benedict - yum!!
    Millie D.

Only two minutes from our grandson's football game field, we found this suburban gem! The restaurant was clean and open and I'd be happy to sit inside if the weather had not been so fabulous. They have outdoor tables that have different amounts of sun, so you can find a great outdoor seat. We started with an amazing spicy Bloody Mary, well dressed with olives, pepperoncini, and lime and an Oktoberfest. Had a fried green tomato Benedict and a smoked salmon Benedict. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious and wholesome. Finished with a West LA Hopaway IPA and a Bobby and the 3 bears IPA - both really great IPAs. What topped off the experience was the fabulous service - thank you Leni! Can't wait for the next football game!

First timer .... Was looking for a brewary and my friend suggested this . Brewery-wise it was fantastic .. they had some amazing choices. Was sitting out and we liked at options .. but then I went in to taste few varieties... and was able to order the correct brew. They were hazy and juicy . Nice ones .. Food wise it was ok. We ordered some wings with a couple of different sauces. Wings looked dry . Pepper sauce wings tasted great . Buffalo wings was normal . My friends ordered fish and they liked it . Overall a good time . Liked it .. service could be better .

We really enjoyed this place! The inside was full so we sat outside. We had the Smoke Salmon starter and it was really good. My girls shared a kids burger with green beans and it's a very good sized portion. My husband had a steak and liked it. I had the Dirty Bird Chicken Sandwich with a side salad and it was great! My husband had a Hazy IPA (Ninja Kick, I believe) that he really enjoyed. I had the Cherry Limeade Sour and it was great!

    The check $17 Turkey plate

We have lived in the Vickery Village area for over thirteen years now. We had never tried Cherry Street Brewing/Tanners. We were really interested in making a visit and trying the place tonight. We all checked the menu over before we came and everyone had their choice selected. We were greeted and seated right away. We came shortly after 5 pm. The outdoor seating was busy and only a couple of tables inside were occupied. We were seated inside. It took over 10 minutes for a server to take our drink order. We had to ask for a server and they found our server standing at the servers station chatting with the other servers. The service was just absent. My mom was so excited to try the turkey dinner! It was our deciding factor to try the restaurant. The server even spoke highly of the turkey dinner when asked about her favorites. The picture below shows the wreck of a dinner plate. The turkey was thin and dry. The gravy was too salty and gelatinous, the beans were soupy and the stuffing resembled stove top stuffing. It was very disappointing for a community staple. If you want a place to have drinks, the sangria was amazing! I don't recommend bringing a hungry family.

We have been fans of Tanner's chicken for several decades. We were so happy to find that Cherry Street serves Tanner's chicken and have been a fan of this restaurant for several years. They have the absolute best chicken fingers you will ever have.

Too many goodies on the brunch menu! Tough decisions.

I'm not a beer drinker, as any of y'all might have gathered by any of my reviews thus far, but that hasn't never stopped me from hitting up a good brewery for food and fun. Also, as I am typically never in Cumming, this location never even came across my radar until it was brought up as a location for a girls' brunch. I didn't have much in the way of expectations, as brunch can go one of two ways, either you love it (or were blitzed and thought you loved it), or it was just okay. Luckily, this place is pretty solid, and we all seemed to love it enough to choose it as a place to come back to. The mimosas and belinis are a great size, and can be a heavy pour, so don't go too crazy when ordering (unless you're joining the blitzed and loving it crowd). I'm going to say this twice, so listen well -- Don't sleep on the chicken and waffles. I REPEAT, DON'T SLEEP ON THE CHICKEN AND WAFFLES. It's a great combo and they do it up right with a raspberry coulis. I've had it twice now, and would highly recommend it. I know others had more skillet-type meals and loved them as well, but c'mon... you're in fried chicken country. Get it!!

    Avocado toast with bacon

Amazing brunch menu! The avocado toast was perfect! The bacon was so good! My favorite beer from their menu is the banana beer. We also love all of their sours. Awesome ambiance, large restaurant, bar, and outdoor area, and usually pretty good service.

World class beers, and they have the awards to prove it. Live music on the weekends and a great open mic night on Wedensday.

We sat upstairs with a group of ladies playing mah jong which was cool to see. The host Gabby was nice, after greeting us we were seated in a booth and began looking at the menu. Our server was Taylor, who was friendly, helpful, and really good at her job. Never needed anything bc she was great! I started with one of their blackberry ciders, my brother got a sour. For an app we ordered a giant pretzel and it was delicious. Whole grain mustard and gooey cheese were served on the side. Hard not to want to eat more than one. For entrees I went with a Reuben with a side of tater tots. The Reuben was tasty, they shred the corned beef up so it's easier to eat, and you get consistent bites every time. Their 1000 island dressing is KILLER. It's definitely homemade and I ordered a side for my tots. Nephew got the salmon BLT with sweet potato fries, and my brother got the Philly cheesesteak with tots as well. Once he tried my suggestion of dipping in the dressing, he got a side as well. The GM Andrew came by and checked on us. Service level is great here, made us feel welcome and happy we were in here. Since I'm technically on the clock I had to head out after two ciders. I could see myself being here for hours, if I'm not careful. Support small owned businesses! Thanks to the team and especially Taylor for a great lunch today/

They do not brew their own beer (aka no beer flights) so not sure why they are called a brewery. This felt more like a restaurant. There were tons of seats, and it was very nice! The outdoor seating is downstairs (no elevator). The drink menu needs descriptions, not just names. The drinks we did have were great (strong & not overpriced). The old-fashioned had regular ice not the large square or ball ice like most old-fashioned. We did send the fish & chips back because the fish wasn't crispy. It was soggy & fishy. We did enjoy the house chips and atmosphere. We would give them another try.
