    Nice setting, awful entertainment.

I came here with a friend to check out the "Dueling Pianos" show, and while it was pretty abysmal, the Amp'd Lounge was nice. On the night we visited, it was VERY popular with older folks (I'm no spring chicken myself, but I am talking well over 75). I'm not sure if it was the entertainment on offer that night or what, but it kinda felt like a retirement home. The piano show was bad. I'm sorry, it was just really, really mediocre. The two men couldn't sing, and I would not go back here unless they had different entertainment. Our show ticket came with a free drink, and the cocktail menu was quite appealing. Since I was driving, I had a diet soda and it tasted really bad: moldy and light on the syrup. I was surprised at the high prices on the drinks too, especially for a casino and event that catered to locals. Expect to pay $11 - $20 per drink, before tax and tip. The Amp'd Lounge has a nifty retro setting with bright lights and comfy seating, and it's a good venue for a show. Skip the dueling pianos, though.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Amp'd Lounge, located at the M Resort, and I must say it was a delightful experience. If you're looking for a luxurious and trendy atmosphere, this might not be the place for you. However, if you're seeking a welcoming and diverse environment where you can let loose and have a great time, then Amp'd Lounge is a fantastic choice. One of the first things I appreciated about Amp'd Lounge was the ease of parking. Not only was it convenient, but it was also free, eliminating any unnecessary hassle. As I stepped into the lounge, I immediately felt the warm and inviting ambiance. The diverse group of patrons added to the inclusive atmosphere, making everyone feel right at home. I happened to visit on a Saturday, which was salsa night, and it was an absolute blast. The live band playing energetic salsa music created an electric atmosphere that had everyone on their feet. The dance floor was easily accessible from any seat, and the intimate setting of the lounge ensured that every spot had a great view of the action. When it comes to seating options, Amp'd Lounge offers table reservations for $75 per table (not per person) or booths for $150. This is a reasonable price considering the length of time you have the table, from 8 pm until closing at 12 pm. However, if you're simply looking to enjoy a drink or two without a reserved table, there is a free sofa area available on a first-come, first-served basis. Just be aware that once you vacate your seat, it becomes fair game for anyone else. One of the things that stood out to me about Amp'd Lounge was the lack of pretentiousness. The patrons ranged from dressed-up to casual, with some even sporting flip flops. It's a come-as-you-are environment, allowing everyone to feel comfortable and relaxed. The lounge exclusively serves cocktails, and I found the prices to be decent. I tried the Scorpion, a signature drink, and it was priced at $20. While not the cheapest option, it was well-crafted and enjoyable. The cocktail menu offers a variety of options to suit different tastes, ensuring there's something for everyone. Overall, my experience at Amp'd Lounge was fantastic, and I will definitely be returning. It may not be the most luxurious or trendy spot, but it more than makes up for it with its vibrant atmosphere, friendly patrons, and enjoyable live music. Whether you're a salsa enthusiast or simply looking for a place to unwind and have fun, Amp'd Lounge is well worth a visit.

We love how close The M is to our home, but we usually just go for the pool, which made this a nice opportunity to see what Knight Time was all about. The bar is very sizable with 96 drafts of beer on tap and plenty of liquor options if cocktails or shots are your thing. As craft beer lovers we were very surprised by the decent selection of beers as well as the extremely fair prices compared to other casinos in town - on and off The Strip. There was ample seating at the bar for folks who want to game while drinking as well as a great deal of tables around the bar for people that just want to relax with a drink and/or food. Service was a tad slow, but everyone was very friendly. I enjoyed a pint of their locally brewed "M Lager", turned green of course for St. Patrick's Day, as well as a pint of Guinness. My husband had two pints of Guinness. We also chose to share an order of fries - we love the fries served throughout The M and their ranch dressing is good too! Idk why we haven't hung out here before, but we'll definitely be back especially since it's so close to home. Definitely recommend for fellow locals or tourists staying at or visiting The M.

As a casino property, I like the M's modern look and upscale feel and its obligatory steakhouse, Anthony's, definitely fit right in. We walked up a little after its opening at 5PM to see if we could get a table since we didn't have reservations. We informed the hostess that we were planning to have a full-fledged meal and weren't there for Anthony's daily, 5-6PM, happy hour. That said, the hostess seated us in the lounge, which at first blush seemed perfectly fine. However, it was at this point things started to go off the rails. The hostess seated us with food menus, but not a cocktail or wine list, so when our server came to take our drink order, he had to get us a drink menu. Nothing on the cocktail list caught my eye so I passed on ordering a drink. The drink menu only listed cocktails, no beer or wines. We never received a wine list. As for food, we did take advantage of a couple of the happy hour BOGO apps ordering the Shrimp Cocktail ($24) and the Calamari ($18). We decided to share an order of the 18oz. Creekstone Prime Ribeye ($105) cooked medium-rare and a side of Sautéed Wild Mushrooms ($11). We received four extra-large shrimp that were presented in standard steakhouse fashion. They could've been jumbo shrimp, but regardless, the four shrimp looked overwhelmed by how it was plated. The shrimp cocktail was fine, but for the price, I didn't feel we received good value. I guess its saving grace was that the calamari was "free" as the second half of the BOGO. The calamari was nicely fried, tender without a hint of toughness, rubberiness, or greasiness. However, it ate very bland as the cornmeal batter seemed way under-seasoned. Our steak looked great. It came pre-sliced, which was a good thing because we didn't have steak knives when it arrived at the table. It's also a good thing that it was pre-sliced because I could see how unevenly it was cooked and the questionable quality of this particular steak we received. One half of the steak was practically mooing it was so rare, but the other half was dead-on medium-rare. Yes, I could've sent it back, but I didn't want to risk have the rare pieces coming out mid-rare and the mid-rare pieces coming back hammered. This wasn't my first rodeo with ribeye steaks, so I generally knew what to expect from this cut of meat. The rare side of the cut steak had more intramuscular fat than I expected based on its sourcing, price, and expectations for the kitchen's service standards. Despite it's uneven cook, the ribeye was still quite flavorful and butter knife tender...we truly were able to cut it with a butter knife. It was overpriced for what we received. I've paid the same amount or less for higher quality and better executed steaks at countless other steakhouses around town. The sautéed mushrooms were the food highlights of the night. Service from the two people who primarily touched our table was surprisingly solid especially given what appeared to the casual observer such as me that there wasn't sufficient service staff in the bar/lounge seating area that was at near capacity. Our primary server, Brian, took good care of us, but it was obvious that he had to cover too many tables as well as having to perform other, non-customer tasks, such as making a supply run to pick up more rolls of POS printer paper for the bar leaving tables unattended for a period of time and other diners looking for someone to take their order. Sorry, but in my mind, the manager on duty should've made sure the entire restaurant and staff was good to go prior to service and never should've taken a member of his service staff away from his customers for any amount of time performing tasks the manager could've handled himself. The other server, Manny, was timely and efficient in keeping our water glasses filled and promptly clearing dirty plates from our table. They were both rock stars! I'm not going to mince words. I was more than little disappointed in our overall experience. I didn't feel I received anywhere close to good value. In a town full of amazing steakhouses, average doesn't cut it in my book. I'm glad I went. I don't need to go back.

Our server was nice but had to ask the food runner to bring us the cocktail/wine list because our server never brought it even after asking twice. I order an espresso martini. Not bad but was a little watered down and hardly any foam on top like a usual espresso martini when I go other places. I got the eggplant parmesan. Good size portion of spaghetti on the side and eggplant. Was nicely seasoned and tasted good. Easily could split this dish with someone. They did bring warm ciabatta rolls and butter in the beginning. My other friends got the bolognese which he only ate part of because there was so much meat in the dish. More meat than pasta. He also had a glass of wine. My other friend had spaghetti and meatball with an old fashion. Not many options if you do not eat meat or seafood. Almost every pasta dish had meat or seafood so as someone that doesn't eat those I was limited to salad, spaghetti without the meatball or eggplant Parmesan. Overall the atmosphere was nice. Someone was playing the piano when we first got there. The drinks and food were decent. Service was good. Nothing that screamed exceptional. Nice choice if you want Italian and are staying at the M but Vegas does have many other Italian options.
