I've had citrus on my list to try for SO long, but live pretty far from both locations. I was so glad when my friend suggested we meet there for dinner. We arrived for an early dinner around 4 to also take advantage of the happy hour specials. I expected the space to be larger based on pictures I'd seen, but it was still plenty of seating with tables and around the bar. We chose to sit at the bar. The bartender took our order in a timely fashion. I ordered a peach maragaria and my friend ordered a pineapple mocktail. Since it was happy hour, I ordered the wings as well. They were decent. I love everything about this place! The food is amazing... my favs are the Greek Salad with gyro meat (but my friends love the chicken and shrimp versions as well) and the wings (all flavors). In house, the Greek salad seems massive but when I Door Dash'd it, it did seem a bit smaller. Shawarma fries are another hit in our friend group. I want to try everything on the menu but I'm stuck on these items! The wait staff is great. Never had bad service any time I've been there (which has been at least 5 times). We sat at the bar and our bartender was super cool. Everything works here as they have a lunchtime special for a gyro or bowl you can build for $10....$10 bucks??? I don't know what I can buy for $10 nowadays but a big sized portion of fresh food? Heck yeah that wins automatically! Not to mention it was really good. I went here for happy hour, so my review is limited to that. The place was good, but I don't understand why it has quite such a huge rating on Yelp. Maybe the full dinner menu is awesome. And I suppose if you like hookah, you might be a huge fan. I thought the happy hour prices were quite good. All beer on tap is five dollars. I got the Shawarma fries with gyro meat. Not bad. A friend and I decided to try Citrus Grill on a Sunday afternoon. I was craving a good Mediterranean meal. Its location is great, but the restaurant is situated on the end so it's easy to miss. I've passed by there numerous times myself. We were greeted and seated quickly, granted we were the only customers so service was great...LOL! We ordered two bowls. One with chicken and the other with falafels. The chicken was well seasoned and the falafels were so good and crispy. All the sauces are amazing especially the garlic sauce and hummus. The bowl portions are very generous and the price is right! The pita bread is a must...so soft and warm! Our server, Summer, was pleasant and attentive. We had an amazing experience at Citrus Bar & Grille! From the moment we arrived, our server, Kyle, made us feel welcome. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout our entire visit. His recommendations were spot on, and he made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Came to this restaurant Wednesday night. We had the veggie plater which was excellent... we asked for slices cucumbers for the hummus and that was no problem. My only negative is there is no separate for the people smoking hookah. I have no problem with hookah but prefer not to be right next to someone smoking while I am eating. I recently had dinner here and it was a chill spot. Decor - Light woods and clean look. It was a really open and well lit hookah spot. I appreciated that. Service - The servers were nice, but it felt a little short staffed. Food - I had the Falafel Sandwich with fries. It was good. My only suggestion would be to have a vegan option for the dressing. I had to skip the garlic aioli. Thankfully it came with tahini. That was good. 4/5 stars Drink - I had the Zero Spritz mocktail with cranberry syrup, orange juice, lemonade, soda water, and a rosemary garnish. It was a watered down. There was no sign of orange juice or lemonade and although it was a garnish, I was looking to see if the rosemary would add something to the drink. They didn't include it. 2/5 stars . Quite a few things I can say about Citrus. First the service is phenomenal; from the first "hello", the friendly staff, hookah and overall great menu. It's the reason I started becoming a regular. The hookah guy Devin is like the key to my experience when I go to Citrus, seeing as that's the main reason I go there. He mixes vanilla & lime lit to perfection. But what I really love about his service is that he will talk with you and help tailor a flavor specifically to your pallet. Ask him for "Amirah's flavor" when you visit. Jodeci is my favorite server. She's attentive and informative on the entire menu. I never have to think what I want to eat because Jodeci always has a suggestion waiting. Her smile and personality lights up the room and makes for a memorable experience. Sav is one of my favorite bartenders. She's quick, fun, easy to talk to and seems to always be in a good mood & smiling. Which is great when playing keno. I can sit at the bar for hours when she works. & not to mention I love her espresso martinis. Kyle is a new bartender at Cirtrus & he has quickly becoming one of my favorites as well. He's super friendly & just overall a cool dude. He can talk to you about anything and guarantee plenty of laughs. Now his specialty drink is an old fashion. Now to Hannah, the hostess. She's warm and friendly as soon as you walk through the door & still the same way as you are leaving. When it gets busy she is always helpful to her co-workers. Came here for lunch and we were greeted nicely by the host. We ordered off the lunch menu and the prices were fair. The build your own bowl was $10 but you had to pay extra for any type of protein. So we added $6 extra for gyro. It came with fries and some other veggies along w sauces. The gyro was kinda dry but the sauce kinda fixed it. I think the garlic sauce we tried was better than the house hot sauce and the tzatziki. So overall I would give it a 6.5/10 The chicken wrap was full of flavor. 8/10. And it was also HUGEEE it came with a salad which was nice. I do wish they put a bit more chicken in the wrap tho since I ended up w extra pita and not enough protein to go with it. They also have a hookah lounge, but Kyle and I are not hookah people...we've never even smoked one in our entire lives. I've always had a passion for gyros, so I ordered a Chicken Shawarma gyro which had various amounts of veggies in it, such as lettuce, tomatoes, and pickled onions. Kyle got the Falafel gyro with most of the same topping. Now, is he vegetarian or vegan? No, he is not, but he has really built a passion for falafel these days. Quickly becoming one of my favorite restaurants for sure! I have been here a couple times over the past few weeks, and both times were outstanding. The first time we came it was in the afternoon. I haven't been to a hookah lounge in agessss but the nice thing about this place is that it truly doesn't smell or feel like one of those dingy old hookah lounges you probably remember from your youth haha. This is upgraded upscale and absolutely beautiful! Of course, we had to get a bowl of hookah both times we came in, which we enjoyed. And I also have tried a few different cocktails here, but my favorite one is definitely the titos cucumber spritz! It's sooo refreshing and delicious. Definitely a great summer cocktail. To eat, I have had the pesto pizza and the chicken cutlet mezza. Both of these items are OUTSTANDING! Seriously, the food here is so damn good. The service is also incredible, too. Any time we needed to change out our coals or the hookah flavors, they were on it! The last time we came in was at night and they actually had a DJ there. He was incredible! Come to think about it, I should've asked for lemon with my water. Citrus Grill & Lounge is apparently a nascent chain, with this newer spot setting up shop on St. Rose in Henderson. They seem to have some appeal for a wide, 21+ only audience audience, whether it's food, alcohol, sports bar, or the hookah which a bunch of people were actually partaking in. And yes, they had more customers than when I was at the nearby Mexican cantina on a similar weekday lunchtrip. I was only interested in the lunch specials which I saw a photo of on Yelp. The build-your-own bowl might be interesting in the future, but today I chose the Gyro Pita ($10.00). It's got plenty of tender, tasty gyro meat, but they didn't opt to include fries in the wrap, and the tzatziki sauce was actually on the side. I did pick fries for my side, and they were maybe thick enough to pass for steakhouse style in some contexts. They were fried enough for a light crisp, but I'd prefer a little more of that texture. Strangely, when I started adding both fries and tzatziki, it did get a little salty. I'm still not sure whether I couldn't finish the entree because I was full or because I was tired of saltiness. They might have overdone it on salting the fries and then adding an additional spice blend on top. This is a full-service experience, as opposed to most nearby spots where you'd order a gyro pita. I was checked on and had my water refilled. Although other customers were partaking in hookah, I didn't get any thing secondhand, so their ventilation must be on-point. Music was contemporary but not too loud, so the resultant conversation volume of other customers was moderate. I could see myself checking out Citrus again in the future. Their lunch special gyros are a good value compared to some other spots, so it's promising. read more

Stopped by Citrus Grill & Lounge with friends for a quick drink before heading to brunch, and it was the perfect pre-brunch spot! We grabbed seats at the bar, which had a great vibe and welcoming atmosphere. I ordered my go-to, an espresso martini (I always grab one when it's on the menu!), and it was delicious. My friend got a Moscow Mule, which she also enjoyed. While sitting at the bar, we watched the bartenders make drinks for other guests and saw this caramel candy apple cocktail that looked amazing and we're already planning a return trip just to try it!
