My washing machine sounded like a jet engine at times and I called AMPM to come out and look at it. The tech leaned the machine back and half of my kids' socks were under there causing friction so the motor couldn't spin effectively causing the God awful sounds. After the socks were removed, he ran a quick cycle in the washing machine and the all the sounds and friction were gone. These guys did a great job of diagnosing the issue, and resolving it. Fantastic customer service. I yelp messaged this company two weeks ago desperate to have them look at my washing machine because it broke and I had kids with dirty clothes. Within 15 minutes they answered me and gave me a quote to inspect. I accepted their quote and was so excited because they agreed to come out the next afternoon. Not only was the price good but the turn around was good. The next day they were at my house and sadly delivering bad news, our washing machine had died. Fixing it was going to cost more then the purchase price. So since we couldn't afford to spend over $1000 fixing an old washing machine, we moved on to a new one. We talked to the guy for a few minutes asking his advise on the best and the worst of brands. No one knows machines better then the repair guy. I am shock at how unprofessional this company is (Irene & the techs were very nice, that's where it ends). I paid $55 to have them come out to look at my washer. The first guy didn't diagnose it correctly. After some basic YouTube research I figured out what it was. I gave these guys a call back to give them a chance to make it right. I asked them to send another tech out (at no charge), which they did. I told him what I thought it was, the barings. He agreed then told me he couldn't get the part because everything is back ordered. I ordered the part, it arrived in 3 days. I called them back asking if they could install it, again to give them a chance to make it right. I also asked if they could extend a discount since I had got the run around. Jason (said he's the owner) gave me the run around about giving me the 10% that they hand out, saying it's for future repairs. When I told him that I didn't know if I would ever use them again he kinda went off on me. I've read the other complaints on these guys & it's like he has a script. He doesn't try to fix things, he just attacks. I don't understand how all the people supposedly keep coming back for such poor customer service & treatment by the "owner". He was rude & overly caffeinated. He clearly has no compassion for people & is just out to get his $55 serivce fee & leave a single mom all wet! I had an issue with our dishwasher and so we caled the company. During the phone call I may of misinterpreted myself by saying washing machine and not DISHWASHER. The repairman BORIS arived and imediatly informed me that he does not do dishwashers. However however however He was the best. Boris took a look at our dishwasher and reset the system and there you GO ALL FIXED. Just the reset needed to be done . I was extreemly happy. BORIS DID NOT CHARGE A PENNY. I am so disappointed in them. I spent almost $500 the end of November to have my oven fan changed. A month ago, the same issue started again. I called to see if there is anything they could do and I was told I was out of luck. They would come again and I'd be charged the fee to check and then pay for all services and parts required. AMPM Appliance Services is highly recommended - they had Jeff a service tech come out to my house same day! Not only did they apply the service call fee but they gave me 10% off labor for being a NEW customer. I had a LG front loading washer that kept giving me error messages/problems. When I called AMPM, they sent out Jeff, very nice man and he informed me that the control panel needed to be replaced. Jeff sold me the control panel for wholesale pricing (i checked online) and minimum labor charge. Total came out to less than $300 dollars & he cleaned inside and out - so it looks brand new! My washer was expensive - cost around $1200 so I was really nervous about an expensive estimate...but Jeff was very honest and polite! Thank you Jeff for being very informative and polite! Our microwave needed the touchpad replaced so I reached out to see if that was something they could do. I had provided the model details ahead of time to see if they could order the touchpad and find out the cost. They said they weren't sure and that they needed to come out and assess what needed to be done. When the tech arrived he immediately told me that the touchpad needed to be replaced and he would research ordering one and let me know the cost. They charged $55 dollars for a 5 minute visit to tell me what I already knew needed to be fixed. That was not the problem as I anticipated they would be able to fix the problem and apply the $55 charge to my repair as they promised. I received a call that afternoon that the model was discontinued and there was nothing they could do to fix it. They didn't even offer installing a new unit until I asked about having this done. They wanted to charge $250 to just install a new unit! Luckily the place I purchased our new microwave had an installer they recommended that charged less than half what AMPM quoted. They're just looking to make quick money, terrible experience. read more

Very responsive and transparent with excellent service! Kevin was our technician and he was fantastic. He had a good idea as to what the problem was with our dishwasher before he even actually inspected it. That's always a good sign as it means he's handled dozens of the same problems. And, sure enough, it was as he guessed. Our circulation pump had failed. He explained how everything worked, gave us his quote for the parts and labor, and after we confirmed he ordered it right then and there. The part was scheduled to arrive after a week; however, the wrong part came in and AMPM informed us they sent it back and ordered again. Second time was the charm. Needed our microwave fixed and paid for the technician to come out and look at it. He had no idea what was wrong with it, let alone get it off our wall to only tell us there's no way of taking it off our wall. Then he had to call his office for help. This should've been our warning but since we paid for him to come out and that cost would be applied to fix it, we called to schedule a date for the repairs. They wanted to take out our microwave and take it back to their shop instead of fixing it in our home. We tried to get ahold of Jason THREE times with no call back. Left numerous messages.
