SCAMMMMMMM the only reason why I still go to this Arco is because it's right by my house and I have been scammed by them yet again I went on Monday to put in gas at 11 o'clock at night and I only spent $35 there. I checked my bank statement today and it says that Arco took $121 out of my bank account. Usually right after I put in gas, I always lock my card, especially after leaving this gas station, but I had forgotten to lock it on this day. And if you're ever using card in the store, beware of when you're putting in your pin, the cameras are right above the machine so always try to hide your pin number or use the tap instead of chip. read more

On Halloween, I tried to make a lottery purchase around 2:30pm in the afternoon. Their machine for some reason malfunctioned, so the rude cashier dealing with me could only cash out my tickets and not accept any purchases for new tickets. I got my money, went to my car, and realized that one of the $20 bills he gave me was in REALLY poor condition. There was some type of food stuck to it, or some weird substance, so I go back in to get it exchanged for a new bill. Tell me why this fool had the nerve to start ARGUING with me, the customer, and REFUSING to exchange the bill because in his words, "it's just money"??? I DON'T GIVE A DAMN WHAT IT IS, I AM THE CUSTOMER, and I WAS NOT SATISFIED with that particular $20 bill! Exchange it for a proper bill! the cashier was not wearing a name tag but he's about 5'7 and is Hispanic and very slim. He started cursing at me and yelling at me when I asked for a manager. Then he called me names, and when he saw I was not leaving until I got my $20 exchanged, he got a new bill from a DIFFERENT customer at the other register who was in line, and gave it to me. So that other cashier had to deposit the original poor condition $20 bill anyway. So what was all the fuss about???? But before giving it to me he held it hostage and was still yelling and arguing with me as if to lecture ME, the customer. You guys need to TEACH YOUR ARCO EMPLOYEES to have CUSTOMER SERVICE skills and RESPECT. Horrible costumer service. Was using the ampm app and I had a free product. The jalapeño cream cheese. The guy was charging a a concha and I wasn't able to get it free. I told him he need to charge it as the name it says on the bag. Then he kept on saying everything the same. So he was arguing back and I was explaining that it has to be the name to get it free. Be wary of using the restroom here, especially if you consider yourself gender neutral. Even though both restrooms are considered all-gender by state law, they still separate which bathroom is for women/employees and which one is for men in a small text below the sign. They refused to give me the key to the other restroom even though the other one was occupied just because I was not a woman or employee. This is a violation of state law, and they are risking a lawsuit. read more

Came by here before I stopped by Krispy Kreme next door. I didn't get a chance to run inside and talk to any employees so the 1 star missing is for that since I'm not sure how well customer service is. Otherwise overall it was pretty empty, but clean Arco with affordable gas prices and their awesome option of paying cash for gas outside without having to go in and ask for it. Within a 3-4 mile radius of me, this station is usually the lowest priced gas "chain" gas station around. Pumps have more more than normal wear and by wear I mean scrapes akin to graffiti. FYI... if you use your debit card, they will authorize well over $100 and it takes at least 2 business days for that hold to clear. The inside is fairly good and service is fast. read more

This review is only for the gas prices. It seems to be much cheaper than a lot of other Arcos I go to. I always pay at the pump so I can't comment on the customer service inside. It can get crowded at peak times, but there are plenty of pumps and the wait time is typically short. read more

Why in this day and age a company does not accept credit cards, only debit, is weird to me. Then they charge a fee for debit card use. Nickel and dining customer is not a business model anyone should use. This is why I only use Arco in an emergency :( read more

More accurately, a 1.5. I really don't like stopping here, although ne'er a station in sight when I pull into Carson for a night's stay at the nearby Hampton Inn (which I really like) after driving down from LA. The pumps don't accept credit cards, only debit or pay cash/debit inside. Since very little English is spoken (or understood) by the clerks, I always feel like I'm gonna get ripped-off. The inside is always nice and fairly clean. The outside sucks and could use a good scrubbing. This one has a car wash and plenty of pumps.

Came here, network down and not able to use card but for some reason the cardtronics ATM machine works. 3.75 fee to pull out money would give no stars if I could they didn't even put up a sign saying they couldn't except cards had to wait in a 10 person line just to find out. We came to this station to get gas and car wash. Car wash broke down before our turn so we went into the store and asked for the money back. The manager said he can't give us the money back because the machine is not theirs even though it's on their property. So we were about to just give up the money I paid and were walking out. Then, we saw the guy who was just fixing the machine named Pulak and asked him for an assistance. He said he will help so I went in as I was asked to. When I got to the register, I found out the manager had already been talking to him. After the conversation, the manager left and the employees told me they can't give me my money back. This whole store is giving bad reputation for Arco and AMPM. I hope the corporate sees this and make proper changes. read more
