Male employee during conversation responded with a tone in his voice "we're in the same boat" regarding non response from a doctor approval on prescription. On another occasion had consultation thru the drive thru. Pharmacist gave instructions really fast, then hung up the phone. Didn't ask if I have any questions. I transferred prescriptions from Walgreens in Inglewood (much more faster/professional) to this location due to moving in the area. I am tempted to transfer prescriptions to a closer CVS.

I stopped here on the way to work around 6:30am on Monday, 4/20/26, to purchase Zyrtec D and some Diet Coke. I paid for all of my items at the pharmacy. The cashier offered a receipt but I declined. I placed my items (3 Diet Cokes, a small container of baby powder, and the box of Zyrtec D) in my reusable shopping bag and exited the store. I was parked close to the entrance. I popped my trunk and was placing the bag in my trunk when an employee exited the store and approached me stating, "You need to come back in." I was confused and I'm sure by the look on my face that was obvious so he said, "You need to pay for those drinks in your bag." I told him I paid at the pharmacy. He then asked for my receipt. I told him I had it on my phone through the app. He then stated, "It's not going to show on there." He contacted the pharmacy employee via walkie talkie and asked if he had rung up a sale. The pharmacy employee stated that he had and told him what I had purchased. I now have the purchase history up on my phone. I showed this employee and he simply said, "Oh." And walked away. No apology or anything. I spend a lot of money at CVS. I am torn between shopping at a different, less convenient location and cancelling my Extra Care membership altogether. I have worked retail for 30 years. Unless you are a loss prevention employee, you should not be following people out of the store. That is a company policy at every retail company I have ever worked for. I find it hard to believe there was a dedicated LP person at this CVS at 6:30 am on a Monday. This person obviously did not check with the pharmacy or review any cameras before approaching me by my car in the parking lot. Please invest in better training for your staff. This person was an African-American male, mid-twenties, 5'8"-5'10", thick accent. I do not have his name but he was the only male I saw in the store at that time aside from the pharmacy tech.

This is a family owned pharmacy in a small strip mall on Western near Redondo Beach Blvd in Gardena. I contacted the seller, the manufacturer, and Walmart customer service multiple times seeking assistance. While Walmart representatives were courteous, the platform ultimately provided very limited support once the dispute involved a third-party seller. The seller stated that it could not identify the product, and the manufacturer stated that it could not process the warranty claim without additional product information. As a result, despite having proof of purchase and documentation of the defect, I was unable to obtain warranty service for a product sold with a 10-year warranty. My concern is that consumers rely on Walmart Marketplace as a trusted platform. When products with long-term warranties are sold through the platform, there should be a practical way for customers to obtain warranty support when problems arise. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Once I got to the register the cashier had no customer service skills. She gave no greeting. She didn't tell me the total. She never said a word. I know that people are people and sometimes you may be going thru things but it is still important to give good customer service. That is one aspect of your work responsibilities. Hopefully, management will see this review and just remind the staff the importance of good customer service. When spending your money you just want to be acknowledged and treated with respect.
