I called first to see if they accepted my insurance, and was told "Yes" - that once my deductible was met I would only have a $30 copay. Okay. I went for my initial consultation, and when I checked out I paid $140 for the evaluation - fine, this is part of my deductible. But, when I confirmed that once this is met, I would only be paying the $30 copay, I was told that... in truth... while they take my insurance they aren't actually in my network so the copay is most likely going to be $80 per session. Why was I not informed of this when I called to specifically ask about insurance?? The place seems fine, and I cannot speak to the quality of their services yet, but the communication needs to be much better. I have just spent $140 for a consultation, and I now have to look elsewhere and start again.

My first session was with Dr. Keiko and she was so lovely to work with. She was thorough and gentle during the entire session. I enjoyed my interactions with her and felt positive with my treatment plan she created for me. I've been seeing Dr. Keiko consistently for 4 months now. The random aches and pains of pregnancy have been manageable with her guidance and care. She continues to provide me with the necessary exercises/stretches to do at home to nourish my ability to manage those aches and pains on my own. I plan to continue seeing Dr. Keiko for the rest of my pregnancy. She is both personable and professional. I've been going to Myo in Studio City for about 8 months to navigate and manage a chronic lower…read moreback situation I've been dealing with for about the past 10 years (spondylolisthesis. IYKYK). Generally, I have it under control, but when it flares, it flares. The PT exercises and other tools I typically used to manage it were no longer really helping. Enter Myo and Dr. Bahar Gord. Right from the first assessment, she was so attentive and really listened to my concerns. She watched my movement and honed in immediately on what was plaguing me and saw the full picture, not just the one issue. I told her I already had an arsenal of exercises -- the typical core, glute, hip flexor approaches and that I was looking for something that would be complimentary. She immediately saw something deeper and ever since, she has been incredible. I have learned a whole new set of PT exercises and an approach to the deep core that I had been missing from prior exercises (which aren't wrong or bad, they just weren't getting to the core of the issue. See what I did there? Lolzzz). Anywho, Bahar is a body mechanics master. She introduced a range of new exercises and a focus on deep core modalities to retrain my entire physiology. She explains the physics of each in easy to visualize and understand language. And, she is patient, kind, and truly cares about helping you not only feel better now, but to set you up for success for a lifetime. I can't thank her enough.

I had been to pelvic floor therapists who helped to a degree but still left me in pain. Thank god I found April. She knows stuff other physically therapists and even doctors do not know. She is hands down the best. Life changing. I went from laying in bed all day in pain, to pain free. It doesn't happen over night and it takes a lot of commitment. Stick with it. Doctors wanted to discard me as a crazy woman and just give me pain pills to numb the pain, but April said NO and I'm so happy she did. Without pain pills we got me to pain free. Multiple doctors told me in needed multiple surgeries but they were wrong and April knew it. When I first started with April, I didn't think it was working. But I'm so glad I stuck with it. There's lots of layer to unwrap and it takes time to build trust and to start seeing results. My best advice is to not give up on yourself and to stick with it. April really knows what she is doing. Five Stars Are Not Enough for Kim Hartt…read more After back surgery about eight years ago, I continued to deal with nagging lower back pain. A few years later, I developed persistent shoulder pain that eventually required injections. My doctor recommended physical therapy and I found Kim. I've been working with her for about a year and the improvement has been remarkable. The pain in both my shoulder and lower back has been greatly reduced. I'm sleeping much better and, just as importantly, I'm still able to play golf, which is one of my greatest joys. What sets Kim apart is not only her professional skill but her heart. Her practice is called Hartt2toHeart and that's exactly how she works. She doesn't just assign exercises. She listens, she encourages, and she partners with you. I felt like she was fully invested in helping me regain comfort and keep doing the things I love. Finding a healthcare professional with strong technical skills is important, but results matter. She has made a tremendous difference in my life, and I'm incredibly grateful. Five stars simply don't seem like enough. If you're thinking about getting Physical Therapy, do it. I highly recommend Harrt2Heart without reservation.
