Everyone hates it: it is time consuming,…read moretiming has to be spot on, contacting all bill payees & putting their info into new data base to pay bills....the list is endless. I had been with SunTrust for decades, at first happy & the last few years, monthly I said I was going to change banks. I never did, till they forced my hand. BT&T merged with SunTrust, creating Truiist ( what a name). I went to sign into my account & was unable to do so unless I signed an agreement with Truiist & allowed access to my electronic signature....NO, the time to act was now! What made it even worse, they chose to complete the merger on the weekend, so you couldn't call & ask any questions. On Monday closed account & moved on. Yes, it is a pain....especially a 7 day hold on funds via cashier's check, so I can't pay any bills......what a pain. The good news is once I get through the transition, I will no longer cringe & hate dealing with my inept & oh, so very slow bank. Truiist may be fabulous...I wasn't happy with the process of the merger & lack of information & options given to the customers, thus I did not want them to have my electronic signature or anything else. Best of luck to all BT& T & SunTrust ex customers now part of the Truiist family, I happily jumped ship. I must say the bank in Holiday, is more than a plain jane. You drive right past it due to lack of signage. Outside, no landscaping, the exterior is an odd, boring, useless bland color, with no personality. Inside is equally generic & just plain. Nothing on walls, only a few chairs, no coffee or water, lol & not even pens advertising their existence in town. They had forever to plan, yet the basics were forgotten. What's a girl to do? I don't have that much actual interaction with my bank, as far as like going to a branch weekly. With all our Country is experiencing & the foreign travel I do, I feel & know I am in much better hands!
