However, pretty much all it has going for it. for one thing, despite being called the department of licensing and stuff they actually don't do half of the things that a regular DOL or DMV type office does. For instance, they don't have an area where people can take things like learners permit, exams, and stuff like that and they don't do photos for identification cards or drivers or anything like that. In fact, I don't exactly recall what they do particularly. But all in all they are in a location that again is very good, but they have very few services that the majority of DOL or DMV offices provide therefore honestly unless you actively know what it is they do I would recommend just simply going to a regular of licensing office and just doing it there.

Well, the location itself isn't bad. It's also not great. The entrance is tucked away in an area where if you don't really know where you're going you're probably not going to be able to find it. There's also the fact that the location doesn't have anything like a spot where if you have a bicycle, you can tie up to or something. Another thing is the management of this office seems to be an extremely rude individual. Constantly belittling their staff and regularly being an absolute nuisance, right in front of the individuals who have come in and are waiting. some of the staff aren't much better. The individual that I got was an older woman who barely even looked at me. Let alone spoke directly to me. She kept speaking towards her computer screen, and I could barely hear her. small part to the little safety window thing in front of her. now, maybe I just caught her on an off day but still there was no personality in it and her interactions were very cold and almost indifferent. I mean, I'm not saying need to smile or all that very least they need to be polite and honestly she wasn't. honestly, if there was a better location, I would probably find another place but unfortunately for me this is the closest location that I can find. Also, if you utilize a service like Uber or Lyft, you're probably going to have a little bit of difficulty because there are no pickup spots anywhere near the location. I literally had to cross over towards a bar or something to actually wait for my ride to pick me up.

They have mailed me what I needed several times and I received it in the next day or two with nice little notes attached. They are polite, helpful and I am so grateful we have them. There is hardly ever a long wait if you go in, too! Wish I could skip PA for drivers license things (they are great, too, but wish I didn't have to go there), but you can't have everything. I'll be 80 in July and my husband, who waited in our car, is 85. We were just coming back from his cancer treatment in Sequim. My husband also has dementia. I had a lot of cash, as I shop for my neighbor who reimburses me with cash. The agent said I needed to pay $624 for tabs for my 2022 Hyundai hybrid. I counted out the exact amount and the young man recounted and put the money in the cash tray to his right. I was so anxious to get my husband home, it didn't occur to me that I had been robbed until I looked at my new title and I should have paid $163.00! I certainly hope someone will look into this matter before the agent robs another vulnerable client.

Upon further investigation, the dealership left address information off the title application, although they claimed it was complete. It was not, and in the end Smokey Point did everything correctly and solved the issue of lost license plates for my vehicle.

Both were extremely helpful, efficient, knowledgeable and kind. Friday afternoon, the tiny lobby was constantly full, and even tho she was there solo, she rocked it and no one felt that they were waiting very long. Saturday mornings are a great time to go, FYI. Thankfully an empty lobby as I drug my surly teenager in to put his car in his name, so he could no longer blame mom for his expired tabs :)

I moved to Bellingham from Tampa, FL about two month ago, and I am still being told that I need new…read moredocuments every time I go back to this place. It's been about the 5th time I've gone back and today they told me I need another two documents signed and notarized by my parents that live in Florida. To be fair the people working are not bad people, but I really wish they could've just told/given me all the documents I need in order to change my plates and tabs. It takes about two hours for my parents to drive to the place in order to get something notarized and now they have to do it again. Also my insurance runs out in about a week, which is ridiculous because if they just gave me everything at once then I could've probably gotten everything at least a month before. This is also not completely their fault tho, hence why it is a 2 star. Since USPS gave me an incorrect change of address the first time around, and the second one came late as well. I'm sorry to the staff there but this whole mess has made me more stressed than I have ever been during University. Why isn't there like a full list that you can give us to complete? I saw that another review had a similar problem as well, like why? Why would you want us to come back a handful of times? Sorry for the rant but this is my honest review.
