Got to the Deerfield Beach station 15 minutes before the train arrived, and bought tickets through the ticket machine. Totally different way of traveling, but it's running on time and it's faster than driving. So far so good!

From Miami cruise port, mass transit consists of taking three different lines. First, the Miami Trolley, which is free, then the Miami Metro for $2.25, and lastly Tri-Rail for $5.00. On the weekends Tri-Rail only runs on the hour, so if you miss just miss the train, you're waiting an hour for the next one. That was me! Once on board, I found the train clean and comfortable. Nice to have a bathroom on the train, but it was in pretty sad shape overall. It wasn't hot the day I traveled so the air conditioning kept it quite cool inside. Don't know what it's like during a busier time, but based on my one experience, I wouldn't hesitate to take Tri-Rail again, especially since it saved me over $90 dollars!

A quiet station. A peaceful station you might even say…read more The Boca Raton Tri-Rail station is not like many of the other stops on the Tri-Rail. That is because it is not right next to the highway compared to some. I have been to this stop very early in the morn and felt pretty safe from some stuff going down. Most train stations in the U.S. and in the world in general are sketchy spots to be, especially after dark; this spot not so much. It's a tranquil spot actually. It is up against part of the El Rio Trail. That's a trail that runs north and south through Boca Raton. I have jogged this trail or bicycled the path up and down and it's length. often I will cut in to the tri -rail area to take a break or add some feet to my distance covered. It's always a relaxed place. Often there is people taking there bike off the train there as they can continue there commute home from there. I have been to a few other Tri-rail spots in South Florida that were good as well. None were better than the Boca though.

The lobby was clean and the staff were polite and answered all of our questions. There was plenty of room for seating and enough charging stations for everyone. We bought some waters and snacks. The restroom was also super clean. My ONLY complaint is the fragrance they use in the lobby. It's not very appealing to me. The train its self arrived on time. The train cars were clean, and the staff was also polite. We ordered a few snack packs for my son and a couple of adult beverages which were kinda pricey, however, we ordered for the experience. We were not disappointed. We have a trip planned in March and will be utilizing Brightline again!

Amazing, smooth, strong, leather seats, love the tray tables how they don't snap like planes, just simply push up, window blinds, 2 plugs and 2 USB plugs. At the Orlando airport I rented an Avis car, and back to Boca the following day. I watched a movie, did some emails, it was so much better than the drive. Thanks Brightline.

I asked in the main administrative office next to the station and the guard was helpful in guiding me to one of the ladies in administration. Sabrina was great in helping me with the paperwork, taking the picture, and processing the card through the computer downstairs. She went way beyond the call of duty by personally walking me to the train station ticket vending area and showing me how to fund or reload the Easycard. She set a great example of customer service at Tri-rail in South Florida. What a wonderful experience! She's a great asset to Tri-rail.

I ride Tri-Rail if I need a ride from a distant airport. I waited for a shuttle from the Fort…read moreLauderdale airport that was packed. Now the other train service called Bright Line had a special shuttle that was nice vs a free bus, but you had to pay for that ride and pay quite a bit for a ticket. The Tr-Rail ticket was $5.00. I didn't feel that the ticket purchasing system was user friendly. I tried multiple times and was charged three times before someone assisted me. The funny part is that no one asked to see my ticket on the train. They allow commuters to bring bikes and they took up a lot of room which left little room to get by. Many people saved a seat with a bag and would not move the bag to open a seat. There were 15 or so boys running back and forth throughout the ride and kept bumping into me. Not one said excuse me or I'm sorry. They had no staff on the train that I saw. Overall it was an ok ride but not comfortable and I will look for alternate rides next time.

There is a HUGE PROBLEM with the 106 Express bus line. This bus is NEVER on time (compared to the…read more108 bus line), and the main issue is that it departs late from its starting point, so it's no surprise it arrives late as well. NO SHOW UPs are also VERY COMMON. We need more reliable drivers and SUPERVISORS at Miramar Regional Park and Culmer. This level of service is UNACCEPTABLE. We pay to get to work on time, and this ongoing unreliability is extremely frustrating.

In March 2026, after my flight had landed at Miami International Airport, I requested an Uber ride through my phone app. Unfortunately, the driver drove to another part of the airport, despite my standing at the correct spot, messaging him the name of a nearby sign, and his seeing my blue dot on his screen. Eventually, he found me. The ride took 28 minutes, and it cost $33 plus a tip. The driver did make courteous conversation, drive safely, and did not give me a low rating.

She's an Uber One member (full $120 membership cost credited by Amex). 3. We both earn Delta SkyMiles by riding with Uber. I ended up calling multiple Ubers despite not having the first two benefits listed above. Prices were reasonable with trips ranging from $16.93 to $30.95 after tip. I noticed coming from the airport, I was charged $0.66 for the "Dolphin Expressway SR836 - 17th Ave. Eastbound" (standard SunPass rate) and a $2.00 "MIA Airport Surcharge."
