The restroom was also super clean. My ONLY complaint is the fragrance they use in the lobby. It's not very appealing to me. The train its self arrived on time. The train cars were clean, and the staff was also polite. We ordered a few snack packs for my son and a couple of adult beverages which were kinda pricey, however, we ordered for the experience. That is because it is not right next to the highway compared to some. I have been to this stop very early in the morn and felt pretty safe from some stuff going down. Most train stations in the U.S. and in the world in general are sketchy spots to be, especially after dark; this spot not so much. It's a tranquil spot actually. It is up against part of the El Rio Trail. That's a trail that runs north and south through Boca Raton. I have jogged this trail or bicycled the path up and down and it's length. often I will cut in to the tri -rail area to take a break or add some feet to my distance covered. It's always a relaxed place. Often there is people taking there bike off the train there as they can continue there commute home from there. I have been to a few other Tri-rail spots in South Florida that were good as well. None were better than the Boca though.

There are plugs available for electronics against the wall if you like the window you have an easier connection but it can be used and cord across. There is room for luggage under the seat in front of you and under your legs and on top of needed. There is no extra charge for luggage. You are allowed a personal bag and another bag too per person. You can bring your own food but hey also have a cafe area where you can purchase drinks and food. The bathrooms are like an airline bathroom some do need cleaning especially on way back south bound Staff at location always nice and knowledgeable. Staff on the train depends I have had some really nice ones a lady I had couple of times but others not always as accommodating. This trip, I asked for a window seat since I got on first but they put me somewhere else and others who came after me ended up with 3 seats across and many seats still available. On the south bound train it's more difficult to get a seat and bathrooms usually need cleaning .They also offer semi and private car for upgraded fee. It does give you the freedom to relax . Now you need to bring only "Carry On" style luggage unless you get on in Fort Lauderdale or Delray Beach. Amtrak cut out the baggage service back on 8/29/2017. Got to the Deerfield Beach station 15 minutes before the train arrived, and bought tickets through the ticket machine. From Miami cruise port, mass transit consists of taking three different lines. First, the Miami Trolley, which is free, then the Miami Metro for $2.25, and lastly Tri-Rail for $5.00. On the weekends Tri-Rail only runs on the hour, so if you miss just miss the train, you're waiting an hour for the next one. That was me! Once on board, I found the train clean and comfortable. Nice to have a bathroom on the train, but it was in pretty sad shape overall. It wasn't hot the day I traveled so the air conditioning kept it quite cool inside. Don't know what it's like during a busier time, but based on my one experience, I wouldn't hesitate to take Tri-Rail again, especially since it saved me over $90 dollars!

They had meatballs in marinara and a chicken Alfredo fettuccini dish in the hot part. The cold part had a charcuterie board with rolled up meats and sliced cheeses. They also had hummus with pita and garlic bread. There was an attendant that came through to check the stock and replenish things. They brought a brand new meat and cheese plate while we were there. They're not checking very closely though because there was a long piece of hair tangled around the utensil for the fettuccini. Pretty gross but also that's what you get when it's an unattended buffet. There was plenty of seating and each chair had a port to charge your devices. We were comfortable as we waited for our train to arrive. They have non alcoholic drinks as well as coffee and teas.

We got off here to get to the Yellow Green Farmer's market and the gate that used to be open (connecting the two) was locked. Some riders decided to jump a fence to get to the Farmer's Market. We opted to find alternate options. First we thought we could walk easily to the market, but the path given by the GPS was not very clear. We finally opted to get a ride share and for about $5 we got to the market. Based on previous reviews, these two were connected at one point, not anymore. Sadly I guess there's a way to walk over if we get out of the station, take a left, walk on the sidewalk along Sheridan, then take a left onto the market parking lot....that whole trek would probably take 20-25 min.

Besides the Downtown Miami station, the Cypress Creek Tri-Rail station is one of the best on the…read moreline. It has a creative architectural design that makes it more pleasant to not only look at, but inhabit and circulate. My standard critiques that the station and rail lines were evidently contemplated to build upon the locational efficiencies next to the freeway exist, but at least in addition to facing a (too) massive surface vehicular parking lot, it's design is carried through to the bus stops and on the other façade, faces mid-size office buildings within nearby walking distance that it proves its utility in its immediate context. Otherwise, it is unfortunate that this station is disconnected from the more walkable areas of Oakland Park/Wilton Manors, thus relying more on automotive transportation for the "last mile" travel - again, partially but proactively made-up for with the bus/public transit integration by the cities and County. I must continue to emphasize as with other Tri-Rail stations, there's not enough benches nor trash cans. There's also the standard anxiety if the train is coming, if you're on the right platform, the trains don't run late enough. But I must say in sum, it's such a net positive to have rail options (with signage and audio message in three (3!) languages) in this urban-suburban-car-dominated-megalopolis. I support it fully and want MORE investment in stations like this to make it better.

The staff and the visitors to the museum treated me with Royalty. They taught me how to read the art and to appreciate the art, artists. And how much art means to the world. Just to be associated with The Boca Raton Museum of Art made me feel like a Super Star. Patriot would come and ask to speak with me me. The Directors Frank Borge and Caroline put a lot of trust in me. Caroline had me modeling for the artists. Sometimes when the Darcie " Teaches of the Art" was busy. Sometimes of the patriots would ask me to do the tours. Every Wedsday night, a different bank in Boca Raton would sponsor a banquet at the Museum. Bank Presidents would come and ask for me to assist in what they needed. And Frank and Caroline trusted me enough to do the right thing. I don't know how to explain how this made me feel and the confidence it gave me. See, in my High School years I was told I was too dumb to live in this world. Now, I was in the Military, worked in Law Enforcement. But, I still had that stigma in the back of my head that I was dumb. Now, I was a leader in the Military and Law Enforcement. But, even though you have to think, guide the troops, make sure they got the right training and be safe. A lot was physical demanding work. So I didn't know how to appreciate that work like I should. But, when I started at Boca Raton Museum of Arts. The mental stimulation , the trust they put in me was unbelievable to me. Sometimes, when things get a little to busy. And someone needed something done. I would often hear Frank, Caroline and other staff the patriots, vendors and staff. " Ask Albert" he knows what to do". That trust along made me not question their judgment. I just stepped in and did what I was taught by them, staff and the Darcies. I met a lot of interesting people that welcomed me to the art world. I can't draw, paint, sculpture or any of those crafts. But, The Boca Raton Museum of Arts. The citizen of Boca Raton had me trained like I was a professional of the arts. I met Dorothy Glimpses, Rajas, Jerry Wise in person. I was sad when I had to leave. I even modeled for the professional arts and the amateurs. Calvin Campbell a renown water colors did a couple of paintings of me. I still have one he and the museum gave me. I will post on the site. Pardon me! I had some names wrong. I mention a Frank Borge. The name is George Borge, who was the CEO/Director of the Boca Raton Museum. Frank is actually " Richard Frank" who was on the Director's team and a resident Arts. And I forgot to mention Mrs. Ginsberg, who was one of the Darcie, she was 91 yo. She taught me a lot about reading the art and trying to read the story that the artist was telling. I would take her to doctor's appointments, grocery shopping. And on weekends pick her up on Saturdays and Sundays take her to the Museum. I even supervised the tile painting that the children would do for the floor in the children department of new Nordstrom stores. At the time Nordstrom was opening in the Wellington Green Mall of Wellington. Each time a new Nordstrom opens Jerry Wise conducts a tile painting session for a week. The children in the surrounding area will Paige tiles. Then Jerry Wise, who is a famous horticulturist that oversees the Nordstrom Museum in the state of Washington. Take the tiles back to Washington, coat and bake them. He then lay them in the new Nordstrom store.

The inside of the museum was nice; only two stories, but quite a variety of exhibits. There was a small lounging area right near the entrance next to the entrance and a small gift shop. It was also a nice bonus that they had stools nearby the exhibits that you could grab in case you wanted to sit and take in the art a little longer. I really enjoyed the time here!
