They came out to fix the refrigerator, told us it was a battery issue, so we replaced the battery but the refrigerator still isn't working. 2 months ago I took my Camper Van with these Guys just to get ripped off with 1500.00 for a 200 Watts flexible solar panel, a 10.00 Solar panel controller and a 65.00 1200 Watt converter! Really? but the worst Experience was that 1 week after the Cheap Converter started beeping leaving me without power! And the controller burned out! Re writing my review this place is a joke don't buy from here stay away, Antony gave me his word on behave of the company that my r.v was in tip top shape from the rv to the engine. I bought this rv 4 months ago. I took it in to grand American tires in Simi valley and they actually showed me how bad the oil in the motor was, they said that it seems that the rig hasn't been serviced in a long time and on top of it the transmission has a leak. My mother in law bought a trailer from AMV that had an overwhelming air freshener smell in it, that we figured would go away with a good airing out. Two weeks of airing it out made no difference. The first night she stayed in it, the carbon monoxide detector went off. I checked the water heater pot and it was packed with a wasps nest and the gas adjustment was so bad, carbon was blocking the propane supply tube and was sending CO INTO THE TRAILER. The electric portion of the water heater was never discussed, probably because the switch was frozen, making it inoperable. Several calls to Eric got no results other than for him to quote pricing on how much it would cost US to have them diagnose the problems. Once we drove the unit off the lot, they washed their hands of any responsibly for any problems, even when the water heater issues should have been found during their prep work on the unit. Because a panel had to be removed for me to find the wasp nest, this issue could not have been detected during the cursory walk through they provide. I didn't expect for them to correct all of the problems (although it would have been nice) but Eric obviously does not share the same sense of responsibility and doing what is right. A good deal isn't a good deal when you are stuck with a dangerous unit that is unusable and a company that is unwilling to share any responsibility for resolving the issues they should have found and corrected before the sale. My advice is to find a reputable dealer who will stand behind their products and work with you too resolve problems fairly. In my experience, AMV trading is not that company. read more

Drove to this business to look at T@b trailers and the place is a dump. The individual attending the lot had no interest in helping and disappeared to the back part of the lot where it looked like a chop shop. Bunch of folks working in the back dismantling cars in the dirt lot area. Not only was anyone unhelpful, but the whole place just felt unsafe in general. I'd recommend staying away. I have notified the T@b trailer manufacturer nuCamp to let them know that this lot does not represent their product properly and should reconsider being a retailer of their products. read more

We recently purchased a NuCampT@b 320 S from Sean, the manager. We have been visiting the business for about 6 mos. checking on models, features and general information. Sean was a no pressure, very knowledgable salesman. Every time we went there he allowed us to access all models we were interested in. He unlocked them, allowed us to explore different models and features and answered any questions we had. When we finally decided on the model he worked with several banks to get us a very good finance package. He also spent a couple of hours orientation and showed us exactly what was needed for towing. Sean is a great resource and has lots of mechanical experience. We could not be happier with our purchase and would definitely recommend AMV Trading. read more

We had been looking for a used 5th wheel for a few months, prepared to go to Arizona or Nevada if necessary. Instead we found what we wanted at AMV Trading. At first we weren't sure, as they have a couple of pretty poor reviews, so we went in a little skeptical. There were two units that we liked in our price range and initially picked the newer more expensive one. It was a bit of a mess and we wanted to make a lot of changes. Erik suggested we go through the rig and make a list of everything we wanted, including changes and detailing. We spent a couple of weeks and few visits deciding what we wanted and Erik was very patient as he worked with us. Once we had a price for our improvements we decided to take one more look at the other rig just to make sure we were making the right choice, and as you can guess, changed our minds. Erik was gracious and happy to work with us on our changes for the new choice. It was older and less expensive so we had room in our budget to get what we wanted. Solar panels, generator, new this, new that and we had built a rig we really liked. Erik and his staff were always helpful, knowledgeable and I felt well priced for both the added equipment and labor to install it. When it was delivery day they worked with me to explain as much as I could absorb. I didn't give five stars because we had one problem at delivery that I won't detail and we still haven't slept in the rig so have not had chance to make sure everything works. We still have a few more things we want to do and will go back to Erik to have them done. If everything works properly and we have the same level of service in a few weeks when we go back, my 4 stars could go to 5. And don't be worried if you go there and look at something and it's dirty and needs work. When we picked it up it was spotless and everything had been done to my wife's very high level of expectation. read more

The on duty service mechanic is a hard working, knowledgeable guy - but the folks currently running the business are complete crooks and scam artists. They WILL find a way to rip you off. The guy here told us the camper van we were interested in was a 7 or 8 out of 10 over the phone when we called to inquire about it due to living almost two hours away. He assured us it was a great deal. We wanted to make sure it was worth the drive. When we got here the van was a 2/10 at most and currently being worked on. CROOKS! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS UNETHICAL BUSINESS! NEW OR USED! We bought a Motorhome from AMV Trading LLC in 2018, and paid $72K for the coach. Sean, their so called GM, promised us a 102 point inspection, sold us on their highly skilled craftsman and mechanics could re-model/ fix anything. Once they had our money, his attitude changed. Nothing but delays, problems from a severally leaking toilet, air conditioning that did not work, lied about oil changes, cleaning of the unit- you name it. Deadlines were missed for weeks. Sean is not only un-professional but unethical and tries to "Bully" his employees and customers. Turns out that the mechanics that work for this company are unskilled, unsupervised and do not stay with AMV Trading long. As we were purchasing the Motorhome, we paid hem for new flooring, sinks and tub in the bathroom, air conditioning to be serviced and also a new refrigerator. Once the financing went through and they had our money, we began to see the poor workmanship and delays that were blamed on their so called mechanics that did not stay with them long enough to finish our project. We just spent $3,000 to repair the air conditioning that they supposedly fixed, and have had nothing but problems with the NEW $1000 refrigerator we purchased from them that they installed. We had been complaining that each time we used our Refrigerator it was not cooling properly. They replaced the inverter they had originally installed and charged us extra for, telling us that was the problem. We used the refrigerator a total of 3 times when the unit quit completely. Sean told us that the warranty was only for a year but to bring it in and they would look at it. When we called to let him know we were on our way with the Motor Home he told us his mechanics did not show up to work that day and that we would have to wait a week. We called again and he told us to wait another 4 days. Called the last time and he told us he did not have time to look at our unit. My husband told him that we did not appreciate being strung out on this problem and Sean told him "I am sick of dealing with you people- as far as I am concerned the unit is out of warranty and have a good life" -then hung up on my husband. We called the manufacture to come out and look at the unit. They told us that the unit was shoved into a too small of a hole that had been cut out for the unit, the wiring was incorrect and that whomever installed the unit drilled holes into the top of the refrigerator and also though the sides of the unit into the cooling coils destroying the refrigerator. The holes drilled directly into the new refrigerator is what voided the warranty. My husband took the pictures and write up from the Manufacture back to AMC Trading to give them another chance to correct their blatant error and saw their yard was closed due to a large motor home fire that had experienced the week before. However, the owner Erik was on premise in his upstairs office. When my husband entered their offices, he told Erik how were once again treated poorly by Sean and pictures and a write up from the manufacture detailing the error made during the install by his mechanics as they installed the new Refrigerator that we had purchased from them. Erik refused to come downstairs and speak to my husband directly. He hollered from his office that he was closed had problems of his own and that if we had a problems with the refrigerator that he would see us in court. That is exactly what we will do. See him in court. I wish that I could give them a minus 10 stars. DO NOT waste your time and money with these people. They are dishonest unethical crooks that should not be allowed to stay in business. read more

I ignored posted reviews warning of them but went ahead with a planned purchase only to discover the Manager Sean McKee would not return our deposit after we had to cancel the transaction. This place promised to have my class a rv ready to go camping. Instead after picking it from there dealer I was stranded on side of road for 6 hours waiting to get my 30,000 dollor diesel pusher towed home. I called all week got no answer finally got should of someone they said tough now I have to fix engine needed $80 dollor belt needs new a.c. compressor for engine. Roof a.c. is bad fridge don't work all lights in pop out don't work. Can't take kids camping till I work on my ready to rv. Thanks alot amv trading good job way to treat you customers. Now I'm out another $1500 and still not fixed thanks! Don't buy from them they can t even fix a sandwich! I went in with an electrical problem on my RV. They were nice enough and seemed knowledgable. Suggested a new 200 amp breaker at $91.00 and change. Given their concern for my electrical problem and the fact that I was currently staying in my RV, I bought their recommended breaker. When I got back to my campsite and told the people I was camping with what I paid for it, they suggested I check it out online. So I did. I found the EXACT SAME breaker on Amazon for $8.99!!!! 1/10th of what they charged me! While I would have been willing to pay a little more for their knowledge and the convenience of getting it right then, I am not willing to be ripped off! At the start, I was very impressed. Now, not impressed at all. I made the mistake of not having a professional inspector go through the motorhome. When I picked it up, there were a few things that needed fixing, light over dash, awning alignment... they were very busy but fixed those items. A quick walk through, but not detailed due to trying to get other coaches out the same day. On the way home discovered, in the rain, that windshield wipers didn't work. First trip out, discovered that there was a problem with the main power cord. Appliance circuit was dead, microwave wasn't even plugged in. Paid $3000+ for a custom TV/Fireplace console, discovered that the wiring was very unprofessional, have to have it re-wired. Ladder extension which was in the unit when I bought it, wasn't there when I went to use it. Now, after delivery...very disappointed. Was going to recommend to others, but not now. read more

Inconsiderate liar. My wife and I have been looking for a motorhome for about 2 years now. After our initial visit to AMV Trading in Ventura Ca, we went home to think about what we saw. We decided to test drive one of the coaches. When we first saw it, it was packed in among other rvs and wouldn't start. Since we live 2 hours away, I wanted to make sure that my second trip wasn't wasted. I called a week in advance to set up a test drive with Sean. I explained to him that I was driving from 2 hours away. After changing the first appt because of bad weather, I had Sean's assurance that they would get it ready the day before. After taking a day off work, driving 2 hours, the rv was exactly as we saw it a month earlier. No apology. Just an "oh well" attitude. They got the jumper kit out, but it was too late. We came with the hopes of putting a down payment on an rv, but left angry. I felt like I was putting him out by being there. If this is the way he treats customers before they buy, what kind of customer service am I going to get down the road? To all my law Enforcement friends and Family We recently purchased a RV from AMV Trading ,salesman Sean told us everything was working and we also checked some stuff from the inside and it was working they said as a company they checks things twice before they leave there lot they had the Rv for one week and in that time they must have done something to Rv because there was alot of things missing batteries, please people make them show you that everything works before leaving there shop even if you checked the first time that was our mistake we believed them to be honest salesman dont make that mistake that we did make them start it up and show you everything to make sure it all works or hazard lights, leveling Jack's, fans some electrical,lights , back AC and backup cameras all not working so please make them show you it all works so our new RV turns out to be a big mess that needs alot of work I would never recommend this company too anyone it has been such a nightmare.
