I wish I could give Susie 10 stars for the unbelievably kind handholding and super smart way she handled a very , very difficult escrow that involve land , a business and a tax liability that almost stopped escrow. I sobbed on the phone to her so many times I lost count. Everything was so unbelievably stressful in my life but Susie always had a friendly voice, and I trusted her completely . Susie during this Escrow went through something that was life-changing and awful for her. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with an escrow company. I had the displeasure of working with Jumana, and experienced horrible customer service. I changed companies after I retained their services because of the very unfriendly, rushed and rude customer service. It also seemed like they were charging way too much for a small transaction, I might have stayed with them despite the higher fees, but with the service I was experiencing there is no way I wanted anyone from the company to have any of my money. After I swapped companies (I had already signed escrow instructions and escrow cancellation) I found out that it was uncustomary to charge a cancellation fee for an uncompleted escrow. I wrote Jumana asking for a refund and she wrote back a racially charged, nasty email claiming that she was going to pursue a background check against me because the name on my email address profile was different from my legal name. There are many more professional ways to deal with an unhappy client. It is just amazing that she chose the route she did and makes me feel better about changing my escrow company mid-escrow because these people definitely didn't deserve my business. read more
