Absolutely nobody likes the owner/store manager. It's one thing to be successful and be pretentious. It's another thing to be nasty and have delusions of grandeur while owning/managing a business that everyone in scottsdale knows is failing. Its very well known at the scottsdale waterfront where I live that the store manager lost her mind and screamed at a puppy for no reason other than the dog was trying to be friendly. Also I brought my African American daughter here and the first thing the store owner/manager asked was if we could afford the merchandise here. Nobody in Arizona shops at Amy they all come to this area to shop at the upscale stores at fashion square. While long lines are stretching out the door at Luis Vuitton and Gucci there's customers ever at Amy, you can drive by this store anytime if you don't believe me. The clothing here is terrible and the store being owned/managed by a crazy racist only makes things worse. Btw if you've ever had any problems at Amy please post them up here. I have a hard time believing the accounts posting good reviews are real because you're more likely to see an alien than anyone wearing clothes from here. read more

The other bad reviews are right, the owner/store manager at Amy is incredibly rude and I've never seen any other store worker/owner in Arizona treat customers really badly like she does. You're more likely to see an alien than anyone in Arizona wearing clothes from this store. I thought the Amy store was finished back in 2017 when the store had its final sale before shutting down. Even with steep discounts for the final sale nobody shopped here because the clothes were still overpriced considering the quality is so bad, you can shop at H&M or Gap to get better quality clothes than Amy and save yourself $500-$750. Now they're reopened and selling the same inventory that nobody bought when it was marked down 35-50%. While successful retail chains like Lululemon open new stores constantly the Amy store reopened its only store which already failed terribly. The owner at the AMY store has not learned anything in 8 years, she still has delusions of grandeur, treats patrons like they're beneath her and is selling inventory which should be priced at $25-$50 as if it were Hermes. read more

The Amy store already shutdown after nobody shopped here for 5 years even after the final sale which gave shoppers 50% off. If you see anyone inside the Amy store shopping be sure to take pictures because its a once in a month occurrence. Nobody I know has ever made a purchase at the Amy but I do know several people who have had encounters with the owner or store manager being nasty and rude to them. The Amy store concept of selling clothes that are low quality that should be sold for $25-$75 for $500-$1000 instead is just pure nonsense and the first time the store closed was proof of it. I've lived in Arizona 8 years now so I know the history of the Amy store. The Amy store opened in 2012 sold low sears quality clothes for Luis Vuitton/Gucci prices and the owner/store manager was incredibly rude to customers then Amy shutdown in 2017 because nobody shopped at the store. Now the Amy store recently reopened and is selling the same merchandise nobody wanted for 5 years and the store owner/manager is still nasty to people. As you can guess nobody shops here like the first go around I live nearby and have yet to see anyone in this store when I walk my dog around the area. I don't know how this store doesn't have more bad reviews on yelp and google, maybe the store owner pays to take them down. read more

We came to Scottsdale for a wedding. We were looking for outfits for the wedding. The two ladies working in Amys were looking us up and down and gave us the impression they did not want us there at all. As a business owner, I would recommend they Don't judge people based on who they think has money. This will kill a business eventually. They 1000% were treating us as if we were nothing. When we were looking through the clothing they would give a cringe look as if they did not want us looking. It was weird. We went to other stores and spent 2k at businesses that we're welcoming. I hope they become better women by reading these reviews they are rude and judgmental. read more

Literally the worst store in Arizona. First of all I went into this store with my girlfriend who is also black and both of us were completely ignored while they attended to white patrons immediately. The owner/store manager is known to be incredibly inept and rude to people of color. As you can see from the terrible reviews. Also the clothes are priced like they're Louis Vuitton or Gucci when they're gap or old navy quality. The people who buy from Amy don't understand what quality is. First off the review about the owner/store manager being a racist is 100% true because me and another black man I know who walked in here have been stalked as if we were going to steal something and spoken down to by her. I've lived at the scottsdale waterfront for 3 years now and have yet to see more than 4 people total walk into this store. Theres no reason to shop Amy the clothes are goodwill quality but you pay as if the clothes you're buying are Dolce & Gabbana. It's hilarious that anyone has ever been scammed by the owner into buying anything from here ever. read more

Several people I know have posted bad reviews about the store which somehow were taken down so its really a 2 star or 1.5 star store. Nobody likes the owner. She treats everyone like garbage and is pretentious which is funny because literally nobody shops here. The one woman I've seen with an item from this store has dementia from being 90 years old and is crazy. Unless you want to buy Salvation Army quality clothes for Gucci level prices don't shop here. read more

The rudest store owner/manager and terrible clothes. You can spend rodeo drive type money here but you'll still look like you just walked out of Goodwill. No wonder this store already shutdown because the owner couldn't afford rent. The Amy store owner has a well earned reputation for being a terrible person. read more
