I have had such a difficult time finding a hair stylist that was able to cut my hair the way I envisioned. My search is over!!! I wish I had found this place sooner! The woman who cut my hair, who I believe is the owner (?), was so sweet and efficient. I wish I asked for her name but she was wonderful! Her assistant was also very kind and I found them to be a great team! The owner asked what I wanted and for inspiration photos, which I had ready. She then asked several other questions based on what I said I wanted and the photos I showed her. I wanted face framing layers, a V-cut on the back of my hair, and some bang styling that was appropriate for my face shape. From sitting down, to walking out the door, my haircut took only 40-45 mins! AMAZING! I feel like I have a lot of hair and I wanted layers so I was impressed by how efficiently everything was done, including the washing of my hair & curling after! I also found the price to be very fair and reasonable for what my end-product was with my hair. I highly recommend ON:U if you are in the search for a women's haircut!!! Seriously such an amazing experience ‍ P.S. If you'd like to tip the assistant, please bring cash! I didn't know this beforehand and I felt bad when I left because I don't carry cash on me. I truly hit the jackpot when I found Wendy 18 years ago and I can't imagine going anywhere else. She exceeds my expectations and the results are amazing. My hair is naturally black and I get red highlights. Wendy does my highlights without ever bleaching my hair! I also have frizzy hair that is very hard to manage, and getting the keratin treatment has made my life easier on a daily basis and my hair is extremely healthy. I get compliments all the time! She has a real skill and passion for making women feel beautiful and I leave the salon feeling gorgeous every single time. The salon I went to was huge and lots of assistants had their hands on my head/applying chemicals etc. at this salon it is 2 sisters and they are METICULOUS. These girls understand the chemistry of hair color and the biology of good hair. Not to mention very artistic with color application. My last dye job was so bad the color was running in the bowl. These girls undid the damage so beautifully. Went layer by layer and adjusted the color as necessary. Got rid of the orange and put in a nice auburn. I'm not sure how to add before and after photos but they have them. These sisters know what they are doing and they have earned my business for life. PS Nina showed me how uneven my previous cut was, which I had not noticed before. Because the old stylist had flipped the ends when blow drying it, I could not really see the layers. Nina however, with a few snips gave me an incredible haircut. Small change just evened out one layer, which had just been cut at the old salon. but the whole head of hair lay much much better afterwards. Watching them work was impressive.

The worst thing is their towel on the washing bed (the one that would contact with your neck). It smells (like dirty towels) and the location got contact with it felt itchy afterwards the smell from the dirty towel remains on my neck as well until I shower at home this should never happen at a four dollar sign salon. Besides that, the store was clean and quiet. My appointment was 1PM - 4 PM. Only two people were working at that time--the two owners. Tbh it was the first time I saw a hairdresser do everything himself--all the preparation, cut, perming, washing, etc. The limitation of staff resulted in lack of attentiveness. During the perm, the medicine touched my face, and overall the experience was not up to the standard. I really hope that they can improve because hair coco has lots of potentials.

I'm so happy I did. The lady that washed my hair was amazing and I just melted in her hands. My head was massaged and I feel like the wash was well done. My scalp was happy! I was lucky to have Andy cut my hair. The reviews on his art was good so I was surprised to find out he was the stylist that took care of me. He did such a great job. I can't thank him enough for giving me a wonderful birthday hair cut. The charges were reasonable and worth every dollar. It was also the most tip I've given to any stylist. She went over what she can do and what she couldn't based in my hair type (Asian straight hair) and previous hair coloring/balayage. I went with her first solution to do a partial highlight to blend in my previous balayage. She did suggest to do a re-tone if I didn't want to spend more time and money on my hair. She took her time and I never felt rushed. I am really pleased with how my hair turned out. I recommend reaching out to Michelle and book your appointment ahead of time! On the day of my appointment, my daughter ended up staying home, so I called to see if they might be able to fit her in since I was already scheduled.
