Full disclosure: It's hard for a donut to impress me, because I've eaten donuts in Texas, and southern donuts are the only donuts worth the calories. Southern donuts are like those Tom Thumb donuts from the state fair, but regular size. They melt in your mouth, so I have a hard time being impressed by a donut that makes me do the work of chewing it... I realize this is ridiculous (is it tho?). Hence the disclosure. When you walk in, the counter and shear volume of choices is impressive and a little overwhelming. I felt like they had taken someone's "Donut flavors" pinterest board and made ALL OF THE FLAVORS. I was researching places to go. This donut shop popped up on my feed. While driving there it's super noticeable from the road. I liked how clean it was inside. I definitely got overwhelmed with all the choices. The staff member who helped me was helpful. I got the strawberry shortcake, Nutella fluff, and lord of the pretzels. I really like this place. I didn't think I would like it as much as I do. Most of their flavors are pretty out there and definitely aimed towards kids or people with a crazy sweet tooth. But mixed in with the over the top flavors are some really well done classics. What makes this place stand out is the freshness of their donuts. Every donut I've had there tastes like it was just made. If you want a filled donut you pick out the donut and the filling and they make it for you when you order it. The people behind the counter are also really friendly and helpful. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because their old fashioned donuts aren't great and their coffee could be better. Oh the donuts! Every flavor that you can think of, they have it. Well maybe not all of it, but they come pretty damn close. While the donuts are yummy, this place is not clean. Tables are consistently filthy and not wiped down. The coffee/sugar/creamer station was absolutely disgusting. There was no creamer, except the powder junk and the glass jars, for which the creamer should have been, looked like they hadn't been washed/sanitized for months. If the Health Dept came by, unexpectedly, there is no way this place would get a passing grade! When was the last time that place was completely cleaned? It's too bad, because they make great donuts, but don't care about the appearance or cleanliness of their store. Sad. read more

Super cute shop! It's clean, has a cute mural on the inside wall, and plenty of seating. My kids loved going here and the gal that helped us was patient and kind with them. There's a huge selection for everyone, I'm truthfully not a donut fan but panicked and got myself the maple bacon donut and OMG I can't wait to go back and get another. My young kids got the Cookie Monster and Oscar the grouch and both loved theirs + they were so cute. My husband tried the Boston cream filled chocolate bar and said it was delish too. I like that they fill the filling in the donut when you buy it so that the donut isn't sitting and getting soggy all day. We will definitely be back! read more

So much fun!!!! I am not a huge donut person, but the rest of my family sure is and they LOVE this place. They have every donut you can imagine...it is actually pretty impressive. From Nutella donuts to banana bacon donuts....all the way down to your very basic donuts; there is something for everyone. My favorite was the blueberry old fashion and the cherry fritter. I'm not a huge donut person. I don't dislike donuts, I just don't crave them often nor am I willing to leave my house earlier than 11am unless I have to. Donuts aren't enough incentive for me to do so. This typically means I'm left with slim pickings at most donut shops. My favorite donuts are French crullers (which they don't have here) and the pink frosted kind. Bonus points for rainbow sprinkles! You knows what's funny? My initial thought about this place was that is was straight up Donut Disneyland... and then I read reviews and two other people said the same thing. Kids and kids at heart will love the fun, inventive, and colorful options at Amy's. Although there are so many interesting combinations, I can't seem to convince my daughter to steer from her blue rainbow donut here. I can't blame her, it's whimsical and absolutely delicious. I think it may be blueberry flavored frosting as opposed to just sugar. My current go-to flavors of choice are Chunky Monkey and Strawberry Shortcake. My favorite thing about Amy's is the late hours. So I can say this donuts are okay. Reminds me of another shop that almost went under but downsized. Got a cool selection but my only complaint about a certain style of donut is this. So any regular donut with icing or specialty is the donut is glazed all of them then they apply icing and toppings. Way way to sweet reminds me of that one place starts with Krispy. And the icing pops off cause it don't really adhere to the donut. So that's on the donut quality Now let's talk how freaking expensive they are. Two donuts cost $8 and nothing special about the donuts. White icing with red and blue sprinkles. Not even voodoo is that expensive. This is when I realized too that all the donuts are glazed first. First time here. I had been eyeing this place for a while now. Not too far off from the 25 freeway. Situated in a mini mall right across the street from Cliff's Amusement park. The inside of the shop is spacious and open. I love their decorations in here. So colorful and comforting as well. The counter shows all the different types of donuts that they have to offer. Which is a wide variety of them. From creme filled to different flavored donuts this is the place to be! Definitely not a place for people with nut allergies though. I was greeted by friendly staff, who took the time to go through all the different flavors that they had to offer. And believe me it was so hard to chose which one to try because it was my first time. After looking for almost 10 minutes, I decided to try the Biscoff Crunch and the Strawberry Shortcake. I could not believe how delicious they both were. I also decided to try their coffee, which was a little on the strong side but still helpful with all that sweetness from the donuts. Stopped by this morning to try this place out. And there were so many options! We just got a half dozen and some $1 donut holes. Donuts very tasty and yeasty, soft and tasted pretty fresh. You can even choose to get your donuts stuffed with your choice of filling. (I'm not a fan of filled donuts) so I didn't go that route. But overall it was good. But please change your choice of music, I brought my 4 year old in with me and that's definitely not something I want him hearing. read more

I really did not care for this place at all. They do have a huge donut case with dozens of options, so maybe that's good if you're going with kids or picky people, but I found it overwhelming. Even with all those choices, very few flavors sounded interesting to me. So many of them were candy bar or cereal related, which felt gimmicky. And they don't sell any coffee drinks aside from standard drip coffee, which was rather disappointing. In quality, the donut I had was nowhere near Rebel Donut. The only flavor descriptor was "sickly sweet." These are definitely not worth the price. If you want a pricier donut, go to Rebel. Even Dunkin is better than Amy's, and considerably cheaper. Also, the cleanest table I could find was still very dirty and sticky. I ended up cleaning it as best I could with hand sanitizer and napkins. read more

I've been here twice...just to make sure. This place has cool fancy donuts, but lacks in customer service. The donughts don't taste spectacularly great. They just look cool. Meh. I've had better. That was what I've walked away with after trying Amy's Donuts three times now. When you walk into the shop it's bright and welcoming. Rebel Donuts seems dark and dreary by comparison. And so many donuts!! Any flavor you can imagine, they have. All the colors of the rainbow! And if you want a filled donut, they fill it for you to order! Jelly, cream, Bavarian cream, you get to choose. All of these things should make for an amazing donut experience! So why isn't it? I don't know if it's the texture or the flavor. I think it's a combination of both. The donuts just aren't very good. There's an old oil kind of quality that I am not a fan of. I was really looking forward to a good maple bacon donut. Rebel's is good, but now defunct Duke City Donuts had the best tasting maple glaze and I miss them. The maple bacon donut at Amy's features a too sweet, not very maple tasting glaze with bacon bits from Costco. Just not good. I tried a maple filled with Bavarian cream (also a former favorite from Duke City) and the Bavarian cream was very underwhelming. All in all, it's a swing and a miss for me. Yum! These are tasty, creative donuts. The space is uplifting with donut designed tables and cases upon cases of fresh donuts. I tried the Bevarian cream chocolate long john. It was really good. Interestingly they add the filling after you order so I could choose from a white cream, Bevarian cream, or chocolate one. If you are a Yelper, they have a cute donut hole surprise bag if you check-in with the app. The prices are appropriate so would be a great place to grab a dozen for work! read more

Pros: 1) A large variety that is perfect for all ages. Your kids will LOVE this place. (FYI: I also list this as a con below.) 2) The new facility is nice.. Well lit, easy design and lots of space for people to be inside. You also will not be scared to enter the bathroom because it's not grimy. Cons: 1) The prices. They are all over the map and for what you get I personally don't see them better than Rebel Donuts or the local Whole Foods. $2.80 for a twisted glazed donut? Really? Are the ingredients organic or special in some kind of way I don't know about? 2) The large variety. Not to nit pick (especially since I listed it as a pro) but when you enter the building as see over 300 donuts your mind may struggle to focus on picking. FOMO can kick in. I would suggest they reduce the menu options down a bit. Overall: I tried this place two times to ensure I was a little more balanced but the it feels like the high prices really just pay for the variety you get. This place will likely stick around for a while but the donuts are so-so for what you pay out of pocket. read more
