Fabric takes up approximately one third of the space in this small location. I have generally been able to find what I need when I'm here but its not the products that detract from the experience. Their customer service could use an upgrade. When you are at the cutting counter there is a lot of sighing and negative facial expressions. Even when the store seems empty there's a line of people waiting and waiting. The speed with which things are conducted here does not improve when trying to check out. Often, there are not enough staff on the registers. On my most recent visit, there was one person working the register with 6 or so people in front of me. I waited a very long time to make my purchase... so long that I almost considered leaving my items behind. Whats worse is there were two other employees hanging out by the cutting counter, chatting. I had seen one of them at the registers when I first walked in so that would not have prevented them from coming to help out. Frustrating, as this is something that happens consistently. Fortunately, I do not have to rely on this location as there are other craft stores closer to me. When I need to stop here though, I wish things were improved a bit.

The place is small, but it is pretty packed with a variety of decorating and crafting supplies and the selection changes throughout the year. The largest section of the store is the fabric section. Because the store is small, if you go there for something in particular the selection may seem limited (depending on what you're seeking). That said, It is pretty rare that they don't have something I'm looking for. There are some advantages to the smaller space. It is easy to find what you need, without having to ask for help (like I find I have to do at larger craft supply stores). When you do need help, the staff are knowledgeable and eager to assist.

My friend had really definite ideas about her dress and they were all sort of "eh" dresses, but she tried them all on anyway. Finally Julieta (the owner) said she had a few ideas and came back with a armful of dresses, one of which was the magic dress. Since then I've sent other people and they've all found "the" dress from Julieta as well. Watch out though - she and her staff have zero tolerance for any kind of bridezillery behavior, so some people have complained about the service being less than fawning. Shortly after arriving I was so glad I had made the trip down and I knew that she would be able to help me. I had searched a few other bridal stores and only found one gown that I was considering. Julie has been doing this for many years and her experience and knowledge show. She suggested gowns that I would have never considered and she was right on with the fit. I wasn't looking to be told a dress looked good just to make a sale and she didn't do that. She also didn't pressure me in any way which sadly I had experienced at 2 other shops. Julie's is a small boutique and stuffed with more dresses than I have ever seen in one shop - even 3 times the size! She has a strong personality, but she comes from a good place of being honest and confident. She is also very charming and fun and we laughed a lot. Julie is the real deal - the ultimate bridal gown consultant! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this boutique!
