I went with Allegra who was a darling from the minute I stepped into Dermaspace. Any worries or fears quickly drifted off given the dim lighting, chill music and zen ambiance. Allegra had a sweet personality, explained the entire process from start to finish, was knowledgeable about anything related to skincare and health, and most importantly, gentle. The facial was around an hour and fifteen minutes, including a discussion of my skin concerns, allergies, goals, etc. It consisted of roughly four total steps: 1) Gentle facial cleansing and exfoliation 2) Moisturization and detoxification using yucca soaked cloth within a volcanic heated cone 3) Deep cleaning of my entire face, clearing out any and all clogged pores 4) Ionization facial wrap of nourishing cotton with a leather mask connected to low voltage electrical current in order to ionize the solution. Afterwards, my face felt completely refreshed and as if years were taken off. I have had truly nothing but great experiences with her and her office and would highly recommend her as a provider! I have been dealing with idiopathic urticaria (spontaneous hives) since 2009 and have seen many doctors and specialists who have never been able to find a solution. Then, a few years ago, I started having cold-induced hives as well, making it impossible for me to go out in the winter without breaking out in hives or even handle cold glasses and objects for too long. After no luck with increased antihistamine use, Dr. Kim prescribed me Xolair, which has been used experimentally for hives. It took a few weeks of her petitioning my insurance for use, but she got approval. Her and her team handled all of the back and forth and kept me updated throughout the process, and since I got on the medication, I have had no to minimal hive breakouts since. Then again this past year, when my employer-provided insurance changed, Dr. Kim and her team have continued to battle approvals for me and help me obtain samples while we sorting things out with insurance denials. Yvonne, a medical assistant on her team, has been extremely helpful and responsive, battling this for months now and keeping me informed and medicated in the meantime. Dr. Kim is the only person who has ever been able to help me with this condition, and her and her whole team have been nothing but professional, helpful and caring throughout my time as her patient.

Cleanliness should be a non negotiable standard in a nail salon, especially when it comes to personal care services. On top of that, they require a minimum 18 percent tip, which feels completely unjustified considering the poor quality of the service. The prices are already high, and for such mediocre results and questionable hygiene practices, it simply does not make sense. I will not be coming back. We then moved into the hydrotherapy area for an hour. The locker rooms and I can only speak for the women's side are clean and roomie, there's a dressing area if you're a little more modest. There are restrooms showers wonderful products in the showers a long counter area with stools where you can blow dry your hair. There's snacks and healthy waters available in the reflection area before you enter your massage or hydrotherapy session. It was our third visit together and I'm sure we'll be back again.

They booked me in for early the morning. When I arrived they got me in to a room quickly. I told them I had never been to a spa before, and the receptionist was kind and told me what to do. The room was really nice, and it was dark, peaceful, warm and relaxing. There were covid measures in place, with an air purifier, fresh bed dressings, and an additional cover for the table where my head went. As far as the massage, it was really really wonderful. She responded to my requests for pressure, and communicated with me to make sure I was feeling comfortable. She spent time working on my difficult spots, but also worked the whole body. I dont have anything to compare it to, but I'd say it was really wonderful and I felt so much better afterwards. I was happy she worked on my knots and got some smoothed out. On my way out, the owner was at the front of the shop and offered me water, and a snack to help with the post-massage effects. She was very friendly and warm, and was happy to talk and answer any questions I had. I highly recommend this place, and will definitely go back.
