Making beaded jewelry and working on latch hook kits were hobbies I loved years ago, and I didn't realize how much I missed them. As I mentioned in my previous review, Hobby Lobby has brought out my inner child in the best way possible, and I'm embracing it. My Nana taught me to knit when I was a little girl, and I even took a class with my sister as an adult. It's been many years since I've touched knitting needles, and while I know I'll get back to it, I'm trying not to take on too much at once, but knitting is definitely in my future. This store may not have won me over with the custom framing, but it did something better, it reminded me of some things I used to love, and brought back some wonderful memories, and reminded me that it's never too late to pick up an old hobby, or even try something new.

I've been to Michael's stores over the years, but never stepped into a Hobby Lobby. I needed some…read morewhite oak tag presentation boards that I've gotten in the past at an Office Supply store, and I saw online that they had them. Wow! The place is huge and pretty impressive for all types of craft items, frames, artificial plants/flowers, etc., etc. They had what I needed, presented in an organized fashion, pristine condition as well as a bunch of other colors, and more. Pricing was also much less expensive than what I paid before. Loved it.

Tina, the owner, makes you feel welcome from the second you walk in the door. She greeted me warmly and showed me around her beautiful studio. She has many creative pieces on display that sparked my interest, from jewelry to paintings and more! She even has several of her books in the studio as well that I am dying to read! I came here with a friend to take a jewelry making class. I was hesitant at first because I have never made anything like this before, but I ended up leaving with a gorgeous ankle bracelet and wonderful memories. The class itself was extremely fun. It is held in an adorable little studio with music, snacks galore, and an instructor there to help you every step of the way. The instructor walked us through the jewelry process step by step, and was ready to jump in and fix any mistakes we made. What's truly amazing about this studio is that it is diverse. Tina has done an excellent job creating an environment that sparks creativity. She offers paint classes, jewelry classes, pottery classes, and I'm sure more that I don't know of yet! If you are looking for something fun to do with a group of friends or an exciting date night, be sure to visit her website and book a spot. I can't wait to take another class and get my creativity flowing!
