Juliet was really there for us EVERY step of the way. She managed all of the small details I felt so overwhelmed with. She was always on time, did not make me feel rushed at any of our meetings. Even when she lost her Jazzy (pup) she still came to our meeting...:( I ended up with a last minute change do to weather and she said don't worry I got this. On the day of my wedding she was by my side the whole time. I was so impressed with the fact every time I looked for something or for her she was in direct eye contact with me. As a wedding planner, how do you just not show up to someone's wedding? It has been a few weeks since my wedding day and I have had a hard time writing this review. I generally never write a bad review, I usually glorify the people and places that blow me away in a positive manner. Julie has blown me away in such a negative manner, I feel the need to share with someone and anyone looking for answers. I cannot believe how unprofessional she has acted towards my husband and I on one of the biggest days of our lives. My husband is a wedding dj and he has seen her work before at other weddings. I am sure she does great work, when she actually shows up, especially judging by the other reviews and pictures, but how can you just NOT show up on someone's big day after months and months of planning? When we got engaged my husband said not to worry, she would take care of everything, as she promised as well. On the day of our wedding, not only did she not show up, but she sent ONE "helper" in her place, someone we have never sat down with nor reviewed any wedding details with. She sent this helper with our printed wedding details in email form that we provided to Julie. We set up each area or table of our wedding and took a picture to show how we would like these items displayed and then placed the items in a labeled bin. This helper was fantastic at setting up the display we wanted with the pictures provided, but we still did not have anyone to coordinate the day. My husband ran around for hours before our wedding making sure everything was perfect for his bride. Luckily, he arrived to the venue early. The most frustrating part of her not showing up, was the mere fact that she decided to not even contact us to say she would not be there. My husband had to continuously ask her helper before texting her to figure out where she was and why she was not at our wedding. She claims she was in the bathroom at her home sick. Not only did she fail to mention she was not coming, she also failed to follow up with an apology or ask us how everything went the following 9 days after our wedding. When we returned from our honeymoon, we proceeded to call and text her multiple times just for her to tell us that her "helper" said everything was perfect. As a PAYING customer, I believe she should have done certain things differently, especially apologizing to the bride and groom, as well as a follow up to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. I must add that the venue was very disappointed with her as well. She was to provide a detailed timeline of events for the day and also the table overlays a few days before the wedding in order for the venue to have the tables prepared with dishware. Julie failed to do all of the above. I urge you to go else where for any planning. read more
