Literally- expert gentle hands guiding the anesthetic to get the nerves numbed and then getting the procedure over with quickly and most importantly, painlessly! While I was there, she also did a beautiful job fixing a chip in my front tooth. Dr. Sadre is absolutely the best dentist you will find. One more thing, they offer sedation dentistry, which my son-in-law chose when he had some work done. He's a big fan, as well.

I have been a loyal patient at Tempe Smiles for years, but recent experiences with the front office…read morestaff (specifically Kim) have completely broken my trust in this practice. The primary reason I stayed with Tempe Smiles for so long was the wonderful care provided by Dr. Marcus Young. However, during a recent visit, I was shocked to learn that Dr. Young left the practice back in July. The office and staff never provided any notification to established patients regarding his departure. His name remains prominently displayed on the front door, building signage, and website, yet the dentist treating patients on-site was simply a temporary substitute filling in for a few days. This lack of transparency extends to how the front office handles urgent patient care. I called with a dental emergency, very painful, shooting pain when trying to eat. Although an open 4 PM slot was visible on their online booking system, Kim informed me that online scheduling was supposed to be deactivated and placed me on the schedule for the following day instead. Then, just two hours before my scheduled emergency appointment, Kim called to cancel due to computer system issues, promising a callback as soon as their systems were restored. That callback never happened. I was left in a lot of pain for several days and throughout the entire weekend. I called back multiple times, left voicemails, and even sent an email checking in on my care, but all went completely unanswered. No emergency contact options or referrals were provided. When Kim finally reached out days later, she offered no explanation for the silence and responded dismissively when I expressed my concern, stating, "I didn't have any update to give." Leaving an established patient in documented, severe pain for that amount of time after scheduling an emergency appt without providing updates, answering calls/returning voicemails or emails is unacceptable. I can no longer recommend this office.

I assumed they must have made a coding mistake and told them to talk to insurance, since idk who makes this large of a blunder, they never called me back and sent me to collections. I came by in person to the office and the door is locked, yet the office hours are 8-4pm. I call the office and a women answers asking for my name which is very strange but they must know my vehicle because else is the door locked and she answers the phone to this business strangely . So I ask the women on the phone how long the office is open till, she responds till 4 and I say okay I'll over shortly, I need to discuss a billing issue, is someone there to speak with that can talk about billing" and she responds, yes their is someone here" I said okay. Meanwhile I am in the same parking lot. As I am driving back in to the office which is in view, two ladies leave the office and lock the door behind them, this is at 3:30pm and they have all their belongings with them, they enter this same white car which is parked behind me. They sit and wait inside the car from 3:30-3:49pm together and finally drive off. They are most likely the front end ppl I am suppose to talk to and left the business early despite it being open till 4pm. I am absolutely out raged.

I took my son in for a consult with Dr. Courtney Dunn and we were both put at ease immediately. She and her staff were friendly and thorough with a great bedside manner and attention to detail. They answered our questions and shared recommendations and since my son was so gung ho about getting braces at that moment, I capitalized on it and he ended up getting them on that day... The first week was eye opening for him... I think 10 year olds don't necessarily think beyond the shiny jewelry in their mouths. But we survived! It's now been around a month and we've only had to return to the office once for a hardware fix. (Yes, he was eating something he was not supposed to be eating with braces... sorry, Dr. Dunn!) Needless to say, we've had a very positive experience at Dunn Orthodontics so far.
