From then, I have had difficulty even communicating with this company. It was several weeks before I could even schedule an appointment with this company because I could not get in contact with her. I had a phone number and an email address and neither of them I could communicate with. Several weeks from the date of purchase, I was given the opportunity to schedule an appointment, but I was pressured into scheduling for a time that did not work for me and in a location that did not work for me. However, I took the appointment because I knew that there was going to be slim to no chance of me being able to schedule a different appointment with her that would work. Knowing that it was written in the contract that I would receive a free consultation, I asked for one, but no longer seemed an option with this company. When we finally shot the photographs on August 13, it was not what I had expected either. I had to pay extra for a hotel room, which was not a hotel room that I particularly liked. The offer was also supposed to include snacks and wine. While I had wine, I was not offered snacks. After I shot the photographs, I was told it would be a few weeks and they would send me a link to the photos so that I could view them and select the ones I wanted. It is not October 13, two months after shooting the photos, and I have never seen my photographs. I cannot even get in contact with this company to see where my photographs are. I have emailed both Julie and her assistant several times and I cannot tell you how frustrated I am that I cannot get in a response from either of them. Living Social had to close the deal because this company had so many complaints and was not able to uphold their contract. I have no idea what they are going to do with my photos, since I have never seen them and I know that she is looking for exposure. Therefore, I would STRONGLY suggest against purchasing this deal because it has been nothing but frustrating.

I can't say enough nice things about Jeff Marsh Studios, he is very responsible and wants to make sure everything will go smoothly. Buyer Beware! Super unprofessional…read more Contacted for a shoot to celebrate 50, paid the fee and covid hit, having to put this on the back burner since I wanted an 'in-gym' shoot. Kimberly was very gracious, offered to set up a story-telling session, was going to set up a group of women over 40 to celebrate and wanted me part of that. Ok, great. But... time passes and when we do the shoot we have to do in her studio. She insisted I follow her style guide to set up the shoot and choose outfits, yet despite the months and months of lead time she couldn't actually get this in the mail to me because of her new full time job with the state. I had 5 days to put together a once in a lifetime shoot. Thanks. We arrange the reveal and I plan my entire day to go to the studio like we discussed in the shoot. An hour before the shoot she changes it to virtual when I'm nowhere being able to go home. Every single thing she said wasn't true, every single portion of this shoot I had to manage. I would have sworn this was my business by the way she was so hands off of it all. The shoot was so bad she offered a refund and it was bad enough I didn't even want these pictures, so I agree. Yet.. refund never hits. After I nag about that she claims her software program was flubbing it up. I offer to just spend it on some pictures and yet when I send that email.. no response. Save your money and hire an actual professional. This gal is a joke. I even did a bbb claim over it to which she completely ignored, yet still in business. Can go to bbb website and see it for the next three years (august 2024) that she decided to just ignore it. Zero professionalism and follow through with the words she speaks.
