Dave spent most of a day relocating and replacing her existing DISH, plus upgrading the receiver with 2 Wallys (replaced the downstairs unit, and placing a new unit in her upstairs location). Dave also replaced all cables, as well as taking a fair amount of time making sure she understood exactly how to operate the system. He was kind, patient, accommodating, and respectful, in addition to exceptionally knowledgeable and and efficient. Comcast is well known for being atrocious with their customer service, but every time I've walked…read moreinto both this store and the one previously open to bye public in Lewisburg, I've been treated with kindness and an eagerness to solve my issue or answer my questions or at least point me to someone who can, even if it's the manager who, in the midst of leaving for the day, sat down beside me and explained why an Adblock and a VPN use 2 VPN slots in my phone, but only one slot can be used at a time which is why my service was essentially nonexistent. Sometimes the wait is long, but their seating area is great because I don't know any other cellular or internet or regular phone company who has cushy benches. And it's quiet with the way the layout is set up, so while everyone is talking, it's not deafening to those, like me, who have delicate hearing. All in all, I refuse to call Xfinity for any reason. I'll wait it out until I can come into a store. And I'm very glad that my local one has been historically great to me.

The person she talked to told her she first had to pay $99 for the service call, $50 for the new equipment and $50 for a future service agreement, so she gave the representative her credit card number (first big mistake). When the installation person didn't show up as scheduled I called the same number my sister called and was passed from one person to another. The third person I talked with gave me a new service date but told me I first had to pay the monthly bill for the old apartment. I was given a $50 discount for my "troubles," so I gave the rep my credit card number (second big mistake). As it turned out we where not actually talking to Xfinity/Comcast customer service but a company called H&H Services who placed five so-called COMCAST charges on our credit cards totaling $638. At no time did the persons we talked with identify themselves as H&H Services employees and when I checked with Comcast's billing department I was told there was no record of these payments and they had no contract with H&H Services for scheduling service calls. My credit card company, Capital One, contacted H&H Services and was told they had a no refund policy and dismissed my dispute. My sister's dispute with Truist bank is still pending. At best we were misled by every person at H&H Services we talked with at worst we were . . . . .
