Vanilla Oreo, lemon raspberry, vanilla vanilla, chocolate strawberry cheesecake, red velvet, and birthday cake

The cupcakes were so delicious and service was great! I got a box of 6 to take home, and chose a variety of flavours. They were light, moist and flavourful, and the icing was perfect! Although I enjoyed trying them all, the lemon raspberry was my favourite - the perfect mix of flavours and I loved the presentation. Perfect for an afternoon snack with coffee or for dessert!

Flat white and pumpkin cookie .... outstanding !!!!!

Great little joint. Just had a couple of coffees and a scone. It was all fantastic. Good value and really nice atmosphere. Will definitely pay a return visit - as in tomorrow. Second visit. Simply great, so this place gets five stars. The baked goods are fresh as in FRESH. It is the little touches like the large glass dispenser of lemon water that set this place apart from the "chains". Also, it is not crowded at all ... plenty of seating. Also, very friendly and courteous staff.

Bold espresso and a vegan/gluten-free cupcake.

The best overall cupcake bakery I have ever been to anywhere. I have visited the most award-winning cupcake bakeries in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, and Washington, DC. Many don't have places to sit and have long lines with pretentious service, and others feature "inventive" flavours that are just mediocre. This place has the full package: delicious cakes (including vegan and gluten-free options), great coffee, plenty of space to sit in a warm, inviting atmosphere, and friendly service. I lived in Ottawa for 25 years, and I am only back once or twice a year to visit nowadays. To see as many friends as possible, I usually just "hang out" at a cafe and have people drop by if they are able. This year, I selected Anabia Cafe as my go-to spot. On a Saturday morning, with no notice, the staff were super accommodating, allowing me to re-arrange the tables and just camp out while about 15 of my friends cycled through the restaurant from 9AM-noon. The deal on day-old cupcakes was also incredible (50% off): I decided to just buy all of the day-olds and feed my friends :). I tried the red velvet and the coconut raspberry personally. The cakes were cooked to perfection and full of flavour, and the icing was sweet and stiff, just as it should be. My friend who tried the vegan/GF mint-chocolate cupcake was also super impressed. The espresso was bold and delicious. The cafe was filled with light, the decor was super cute, and the locals who hang out in the cafe were very friendly. No matter where you're staying in Ottawa, this shop is worth the drive if you are craving good cupcakes! I think on every future trip, I will make this my default hang out spot because of my wonderful experience here.

Amazing coffee and delicious gf cupcake. It's really hard to find a food gf bakery and this one did not disappoint. We were visiting from the states and this place was the cutest little coffee spot!

Ended up getting the pistachio and Dubai chocolate croissant. As for the drinks, we got the matcha and the Hojicha with espresso shots. They serve coffee from Hatch (which is probably one of my favourite back in Toronto). Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the croissants fresh but they were still tasted buttery and flakey. The flavour and sweetness was the right amount (perfect for my Asian tastebuds). The drinks were also really good! It was pretty busy inside but there's plenty of seating (might not be great if you want to chill and study but great for hanging out with friends). Service was good, staff is friendly and our order was made fairly quickly. I would come back and try other things on their menu if I'm ever around the area.

Plus, their croissants are big in size and are great for sharing. Their place is beautifully decorated with lots of seating. The workers were kind and friendly. We ordered the Croissant au Pistachio Rose and the Dubai Chocolate Croissant. Both had the perfect amount of flakiness and softness. The Dubai Chocolate was decadent while the Pistachio Rose was nutty with a delicate taste of floral.

TLDR: Delicious pastries at this Italian Bakery and Gelateria. Much more expensive than at other…read moreshops though (was $7.49 for a Sfogliatella). I was in the mood for a Sfogliatella (lobster tail pastry), so my husband and I went to Little Italy to get one. Pasticceria Gelateria Italiana has been around since 1979, but I had never been there before. They had a large selection of desserts and gelato. We took our pastry to-go, but they have some seating both indoors and on their raised front patio and street-level side patio. The Sfogliatella was $7.49 which is the most I've ever paid for this pastry. Fortunately, it was delicious. Very crispy and flakey on the outside and softer on the inside with a generous amount of cream. I prefer the ricotta cheese filling slightly more, but I like the cream filling too. It was light and airy and not too sweet. Service was efficient and pleasant. The shop has a one way flow, you enter one door and you follow the arrows and exit a different door. The area to wait for service is narrow, so this process prevents congestion and crowding. I like it. Great for the occasional treat, but a bit too spendy for me. (77)

This street has a number of good joints however this was a pleasent surprise to me . They have a wide range of home made chocolate bars , puff pastries , pastries , croissants , cannolis , crème Brûlée and filled donuts . Without wasting much time the good and the anti good . I wouldn't use a term bad as this place is a blessing for Ottawa The good 1. Variety : it's not overwhelming , just enough amount of truffles and breads to satiate your sugar and buttery starch craving .if you are into chocolate you are in for a treat 2. Ice creams : surprisingly three of my friends got icecream a and they were soooo good . So it's consistent 3. Service : quick efficient and nice 4. Patio : cute little patio they also have tables on the side Anti good 1. Coffee - well they are not a coffee shop so it adds up .'illl spend money on coffee on an extra cannoli 2. Eclairs : we have a lot better in Ottawa in Preston and bank Standout dish : pistachio crème brûlée - gave me an orgasm
