Anacapa Industries is a fantastic veteran-owned business, and I just picked up my new wheelchair. They sprayed Line-X on the handlebars and footrests so that if they got bumped, they wouldn't scratch; they did a hand-woven 550 cord handlebar, made a custom seat and all Mollie vest-style support system to put my service dogs supplies in, and completely repainted it with my MOS on each side. All of the staff treat you like family. Ok this is 2-star review is based off my giving them a third chance! Dropped off my part, was told it'd be ready probably end of day or tomr latest, took another 2 days! Bad attitude on the phone from some guy/owner as well. Then last time I dropped off something, it took OVER A WEEK longer than he said. Yep, it was a week or more and we were doing a custom build that was held up by these guys. The other time, pretty much the same thing.. several days over. The cerakote was also weak.. chipped after a very, very light scuff. Finally given up on them. Good luck. Oh and their pricing is way up there. You are better off sending it out to LA or the mid-west somewhere. read more

This is a great business. I received exactly what I requested from them which was a spray in bed liner. The online bid request was responded to within 24 hours with a detailed cost description. When I called the office to schedule my appointment the staff was extremely friendly and cooperative. They scheduled me and explained what to expect on my day of service. The staff was very open to my questions and I felt trully want me to understand the process and costs. On the day of my apointment the staff greater me and again explained the process. Staff went with me to my vehicle to show me what was planned and address any questions I may have. My truck was delivered on time and again staff went to my truck with me to ensure I was completely satisfied. I am! I will take future work to this well run local company that cares about their customers and the product they provide. Outstanding customer service. The owner took time to talk with me and his lifetime of service to our country and the City of Oxnard is truly appreciated by me. He continues his service to the community by overseeing a well run quality business that is responsive to its customers. I can not recommend this company enough. read more

I had to have something done on my truck and it was nothing but a hassle and a half! I had my tube side steps re-powder coated. The problem is the place I choose to go: Anacapa Industries in Camarillo, they are a truck parts and accessories supplier. First thing I'm going say is I will NEVER BE GOING THERE again! I was told it would take a week and a half to two weeks. It took three. The price they were actually really close on the estimate. I was told $300 I ended up paying $320, given they missed their own deadline and the flack they gave me this week, you would think they would have atleast given me some kind of discount, especially since I was paying cash for the balance of my bill! The flack they gave me this week was that I called on Monday or Tuesday of this week and was told that my steps had not even been put in the oven yet! So my steps got sandblasted and probably got thrown on to a shelf for two and half weeks-FORGOTTEN! Because I was not calling to remind them everyday to do this job! The office lady told me they would get put in the oven today and whether or not they get done and ready to be installed, she would call. She never called. I thought she might call in the morning, I found out she did but I never got the message. That is not their fault, I was ready to let things go today, but I went this morning to have them put the steps back on, taking them off took them 35-40 minutes, it took them almost TWO HOURS and they had some kind of problem in doing it and they were not telling me what was happening! Advice to anyone wanting to get parts and accessories on a truck or powder coating if you go here get ready for a long wait and hassles! read more

My Sprinter van was completely rotting away from salt water and sand. The crew at ANACAPA industries did an incredible job sand blasting and linex the back of the van. It looks brand new and is completely protected now. The staff rocked too! I even got a tour of the facility. Love it ! Thank you!!! read more
