When they clean they try very hard to take odds and ends and put them in sensible places. Even when they leave things on the counter they take pains to arrange things so they look nice. With other services I have used, it is not uncommon that little piles of odds and ends will be left on counters here and there for me to take care of. Immaculate Cleaning Essentials has never left unsightly piles behind. When they are done cleaning my home it looks as if I had personally supervised everything they did (and generally I'm not even in the house). Pillows and cushions are always neatly and attractively arranged. Sure, I get that everybody has a different idea of how they want their house cleaned. In my experience, the Immaculate Cleaning Essentials crew takes great care to talk to you and work with you to find out how you want it done. I can't think of anything they could do better. I did use them for about 8 years or so due to simply being too busy to go through the process of finding a new cleaner, but I couldn't take it any longer. Throughout using their services, there were several times they arrived earlier or later than expected which threw off my daily schedule. There were several times where I was asked if they could shift a day or time and I almost always accommodated their request. However, the one time I asked to shift a time, I was refused. The initial agreement included cleaning living/dining/kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and 3 baths. During covid, I went down to 1 bedroom needing to be cleaned, but there was no change in price. When I brought it up after I had realized, I got nothing in return. No refund, no extra cleaning... that's just the rate now despite it never being discussed prior. I began noticing inconsistent cleaning... bathrooms weren't being cleaned as they once were, items not returned to their proper place, window sills stopped getting cleaned, etc. They constantly scuffed the kitchen island wall by banging stools against it which I had to repaint. They ruined a marble counter top by using the wrong cleaning product and didn't bother to tell me. Many times, they have left random leave cleaning items around (towels, cleaners, step stool), signaling a clear lack of attention to detail. Over the years, they had broken a few items and didn't tell me until I confronted them. I understand accidents happen, but when something breaks, the owner should be notified immediately. Finding out later only makes it worse. When I would bring these things up to company, it would get better for a couple visits and then back to subpar standards. When I recently cancelled service, I told the person I spoke with I would like to talk with owner to address my concerns and perhaps I could be talked into continuing service if it got back to being consistent. It's annoying, but whatever. I scheduled a 11:30am appointment several days in advance (wanted 11:00, but said 11:30 would work). At noon I had to text and ask what was up. Said they were on the way. By 12:30 I absolutely had to reschedule, I had another appointment. Maybe its just the lawyer in me, but I just don't understand how you can run a business without being punctual. On what earth is it okay to show up an hour or more after an appointment, with no warning, heads up or anything! Especially when I always tip so generously and am a repeated customer Like, what if I had a party planned and people were coming over at a certain time? I mean shit, then I'd actually have to clean myself (ha, ha..)! That's generally the only reason I get these guys, but luckily that wasn't the case this time. Later in the day I get a message that "he was sick, can we reschedule for tomorrow". I agreed, and he picked the time for 9 AM Friday (which is today). In the morning I get a message saying he wants to reschedule for 10:15 to which I agreed. Around 9:30 I get another message saying "found another people, thank you!" I cannot fathom how someone so irresponsible is still in business.
