When I brought it back, they said it could be fixed right away, so I returned again a couple of days later to pick it up--but it hadn't been properly repaired. Only the lower part of the train had been addressed, while the most important area was left untouched. They then asked me to come back again a week later. When I finally received the dress, it came back with severe stains on the décolletage area that were not there when I first brought it in. Even after I complained, their response was shockingly irresponsible--they said they didn't want to touch the dress anymore. This is truly unacceptable service. I strongly advise against bringing your precious wedding dress to this place. I have worked in the wedding industry for over 25 years, and I have never experienced such poor service. Out of the five dresses I entrusted to them, two were returned in a condition that made them unusable.

I had read the reviews before going to her, so I was aware of Coco delivering a day late on alterations. I went in on June 18th to get my dress altered, and Coco told me to come in on July 2nd to pick up my dress. On July 2nd, I actually called her beforehand to confirm that my dress would be ready. She asked me for my dress color and then said to come by any time before 5pm. My dress was not ready. I drove over, and Coco told me that she was still working on my dress. She also mentioned that the person who usually steams all the finished pieces had already left for the day, so she needed an additional day. I was fine with her needing extra time, but I wish she had said that over the phone before I made the drive. I thought that was inconsiderate, especially since I had already been proactive about calling beforehand to confirm that the dress could be picked up. Nonetheless, the alterations turned out nicely. The hem of the dress worked beautifully with the heels I chose, and the tightened shoulder seams made the dress fit much nicer. I felt so confident wearing this dress at my friend's wedding. The hem and shoulder seam adjustments totaled $80. I don't have a frame of reference for the average cost of alterations for formal attire, so I can't tell if it was reasonable. I spent an entire day driving around Orange County visiting several highly-rated alteration shops, and every single one told me some version of the same thing: it was too difficult, the beading would have to be compromised, the train might need to change, or it would cost an outrageous amount. By the time I walked into Ninos, I was emotionally exhausted and expecting another "no." The shop itself is very unassuming, tucked away in an older office building. I'll admit I was skeptical. After visiting large, well-known shops with multiple seamstresses, I didn't think this little tailor shop would be the one to save my wedding dress. I have never been happier to be wrong. When I picked it up, I cried. My bust had originally been several sizes too large, and I was convinced there was no way to make it look natural without reconstructing the dress. I understood his observation: I originally bought the jacket used from an app. He suggested not tailoring or repairing it at all because opening up the jacket would be a big risk. However, Mike said I could bring the jacket in any time for a FREE PRESSING/IRONING if I lucked out & the jacket did end up getting repaired without coming undone etc. I made a mental note of Mike's generous promise/offer. Weeks passed before I got around to getting the jacket tailored & fixed. The jacket did withstand tailoring, so I decided to take Greenway up on the free pressing--assuming anyone there remembered I had been there or what Mike had said. I brought the jacket in; Mike happened to be at the front desk. He seemed to recollect the free pressing offer, & he handed it over to other Greenway staff. They carefully pressed & packaged my jacket while I waited. A pleasant 10-15 min. wait. When the staff completed the pressing of the jacket, the jacket looked good as new. Impressive customer service is the hallmark of Greenway Cleaners. 5 stars for unrivaled professionalism, tact, & dignified treatment of customers.
