I came here for the Vans Warped Tour and it was a great location to avoid the crazy traffic around Long Beach. Hotel was very nice and I got free parking here for being a member. The staff was super friendly at check in. The receptionist gave me free water and explained all of the hotel information very throughly and clear. My room was 2 queen beds and on the 3rd floor. I did hear noises running around in the hallway and upstairs noise but it didn't bother me too much. I do wish they had more parking because the garage would get full when I came back late at night. I parked in the front lot next to the check in spots are. The hotel was very clean and its super close to Disneyland. I went to downtown Disney only and it was only a 6 min drive to the parking lot. All staff, Dining, hotel dining A++. Even with myself using earplugs to try to sleep, you can hear everything, above, side to side and in the hallways. The rooms have Laminate flooring not carpet which is nice but this flooring offers no soundproofing. I hope the hotel will consider upgrading this or at minimum install floating laminate flooring with the sound barrier. Stayed in a room with a King bed and the room had adjoining door for larger families. The Adjoining door offered no soundproofing from the infant and toddlers screaming and crying past 11pm and before 4 Am. We completely understand kids will be kids but for those inconsiderate Parents, if the room was a bit more soundproofed we would have stayed the rest of our reservation. We left 1 day, night early because of this and to drive home to get some sleep. I wouldn't stay again for this reason after spending 12 hours in the Parks to come back and be unable to relax for the next day. Close to parks, 15 min walk, restaurant great, staff great but the adjoining door killed it for us. There were a few more housekeeping issues noticed when we checked in but we understand that its a quick turnover with guests arriving and leaving. I stayed at Hotel Indigo by IHG for the first time and was quite disappointed with both the customer service and overall experience. The hotel itself feels a bit dated and could use some updates, but honestly, a room is a room--it serves its purpose. My main issue was the lack of communication and professionalism from the staff throughout my stay. For context, I am an IHG Platinum member. One of the benefits of Platinum status is eligibility for early check-in and room upgrades, both of which are subject to availability. I travel frequently and completely understand that these perks are never guaranteed. However, based on my experience and recommendations from hotel staff at other properties, I typically call the night before arrival to request that a note be added to my reservation regarding an early check-in request. The night before my arrival, I called the hotel and spoke with a front desk employee named Daisy. I politely asked if she could add a note to my reservation requesting early check-in. Her only response was, "Early check-in is subject to availability," which I already understood. What confused me was that she never asked for my name, confirmation number, or any information that would allow her to locate my reservation. When I pointed this out and asked how she could add a note without identifying my booking, she still refused to pull up my reservation. The call ended with no note added and a very poor impression of the hotel's customer service. The next morning, after landing around 7:00 AM, I called again hoping to speak with someone else. I was hoping to refresh before the rest of my day. This time I spoke with Elizabeth, who was much more helpful and was able to locate my reservation and add the note. I mentioned my experience from the previous evening, and her immediate response was, "Who said that?" I chose not to name anyone and simply explained what had happened. She told me she would do her best and said I should be able to get into a room around noon. Since I was already nearby, I slowly made my way to the hotel and arrived around 11:30 AM. Elizabeth was not there at the time, so I spoke with a male front desk employee and explained that I had been told a room would likely be available around noon. His immediate response was again, "Who said that?" It felt as though every staff member was more concerned with identifying who had provided information rather than helping the guest in front of them. The lack of communication between employees was becoming increasingly obvious. I then asked if I could at least begin the check-in process and park my car in the garage rather than continue occupying one of the check-in parking spaces. Only then did he ask for my reservation information. In my experience, most hotels are able to begin the check-in process even if the room is not quite ready. After parking and waiting a short while, Elizabeth returned around noon and was able to get me checked in. During check-in, I also requested a late checkout and was told that a 1:00 PM checkout had been approved. The communication issues continued the following day. My partner asked me to confirm our checkout time, so I stopped by the front desk. A male and female employee looked up my reservation and appeared confused, telling me there was no late checkout noted on the account. Once again, I had to explain that it had already been approved. And once again, I was asked who had approved it. Both employees then agreed to honor the 1:00 PM checkout. Even on the day of departure, the confusion persisted. While I was in the shower getting ready to leave, the room phone repeatedly rang. When I finally answered, a front desk employee asked whether I had a late checkout. I replied that I did. My entire stay felt like there was little to no communication between staff members. Every request seemed to require re-explaining the situation, and every interaction was met with questions about which employee had said what rather than a review of the reservation notes. As a loyal IHG member, this was one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I've had. Stayed at Hotel Indigo for my birthday trip to Disneyland with the family. Chose it for the proximity to Disneyland. Paid an extra $20 to park all the next day which is half the cost of D-land parking. Walked to the entrance in 15 minutes. There is a cafe to buy b'fast in the morning, but we got the to go deal of breakfast sandwiches and coffee for $8 a piece. Not a bad deal. The swimming pool is nice with some interesting colored lighting. The staff was fine although they did miss my platinum status which got me some upgrades at the last IHG hotel. Walking distance to a ton of restaurants for dinner which is also nice to park and and not have to touch your car again. The bed was almost too comfortable after a long day at the park. Luckily, we had a good reason to get up, because with my status with IHG, breakfast was included. The location really can't be beat. A little less than a 20 min leisurely walk back from Disney. No parking hassle, decent food options along the way for before and after Disney. Cold, cucumber water and house packaged cookies in the lobby. And free parking! The room was ok, appreciated the Keurig, fridge and hardwood floors. Picked this over the Wyndham next store bc they had carpet. The wallpaper was peeling and the room was starting to feel like it was getting old. Decent view from our room of the fireworks. We had one bad incident with the towels that had a little ick to it. The elevator situation (1 slow one for the whole place) is so ridiculous that it's comical, figure out the stairs on your first day and it will be ok. For many years this hotel has stood out to me for some reason. I live semi-near by and drive by it all the time. Finally had a weekend that some "time away from home" sounded appealing. Jumped on my IHG account and made a room reservation. Arrived on Friday, John helped me at the counter. Super friendly guy - gave me all the information I needed for my stay. Provided a menu for the in house restaurant and the two meal coupons I paid for, explained the parking garage, etc. The room was awesome! Super clean, very comfortable bed, the pillows were amazing as well. I was on the third floor overlooking the rest of the building and was able to see the Disneyland fireworks with ease. Their restaurant, Chambers Bar and Bistro, has a decent selection of food. Solid breakfast choices, but I will say the food was heavy.. The room is definitely priced for the area, you are getting what you pay for near Disney. They give Disney snap bracelets to kids, very cool to collect. This hotel sits near the Anaheim Garden Walk which is full of excellent restaurants. Nearby Disneyland and other fun facilities, you cant go wrong being here. read more

What a great hotel. There's lots of options to look at when visiting Disneyland, and I'm glad we chose this one. Although I felt like the walk was a little further out than I would like, there were lots of hotels that were even further than this one. I couldn't really tell online how far it would be...it's definitely not far, just a little more than I'm used to. They don't offer breakfast, but the room was big enough to accommodate us and that's really all that matters. Although cleanliness matters as well! And they seem to be quite clean. The main thing I liked was I mentioned that we were coming to Disneyland for my daughter's birthday and they decorated the room and had balloons and a sign put up on the door which made our trip all the more better. Small things like that I really appreciate and I appreciate so much that they took the time to do that for our little girl. She was excited about it too, and it just felt more special in general. Parking is a little bit tricky to go down to, especially for such a large vehicle like we have, but we were able to make it work. It is a free and gated parking lot which is definitely needed, and to me felt like a huge perk. I would rather have the free parking over the free breakfast so that's what ended up being my deciding factor for this particular hotel. They do have an outdoor pool, which we try to take advantage of for a little bit. The water is freezing, but they have a hot tub, which felt amazing, even if we were only about to use it for the short time we were able to visit at night. They could use some updating, but I will say that the front desk staff seemed very nice. read more

Arrived late night and was initially glad I was put in what they consider a suite on a high floor but that was short lived. The extra square feet and sofa bed with small table was great but I wasn't aware that there were renovations taking place right above us. I will add, I received a birthday gift for my daughter which was an assortment of candy and snap bracelets. Appreciate it! Left early morning and was happy with the convenient location, which literally is a ten minute walk to Disney's Main Gate. Stayed a few hours at the park and came back to allow the kids a chance to rest and more importantly nap but that didn't happen due to the drilling and hammerering taking place! I mentioned this to the front desk and was told it would be done soon. It wasn't addressed again until I checked out and was offered drinks from Elizabeth. She also mentioned that I could have a 2pm late checkout if I wanted. It wasn't necessary as it would have been the same noise again lol. Made it home only to realize my son has forgotten his toy in the room. Called and asked for them to hold it for me it it was turned in. Received a call back the following morning letting me know it was turned in and that they will hold it for me for 30 days. Thank goodness for honest housekeeping staff. They are far and few. I would mention them if I knew their name... Kudos to John and Elizabeth at the front desk. They are great and care for guests concerns. The property is well maintained and you can tell it was another brand before. The attention to details shows. This boutique hotel is easy to get in and out of and as of January 2025 it has free parking. A small restaurant - Chambers is open limited hours which offers a bar and good food options. If you are looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay that is only a few short blocks away from Disney Resort, give this place a consideration. The rooms were nicely sized and very clean. The hotel is also less than a 15-minute walk from the parks, which made it super convenient for our trip. The reason I'm leaving 5 stars, though, is because of Karin who works at the bar/restaurant. She was so sweet, welcoming, and wonderful throughout our stay. We enjoyed happy hour at the bar and had such a great time because of her hospitality. Also, the wings were hands down the best wings I have ever had! We had such a nice stay at hotel indigo this past weekend! All staff were friendly and the rooms were nice and clean. I liked that the rooms didn't have carpet! The beds and pillows were comfortable and the shower pressure was decent too. There is a small fridge in the room and a microwave in the lobby so we were able to save our leftovers from lunch. They also had hot water in the lobby for instant noodles or tea etc, which was nice. Parking was free for our first vehicle but we were instructed to park our second vehicle at the anaheim gardenwalk next door because the hotel was fully booked. The staff is what really makes this hotel/motel stand out from the others around it. They are so friendly. The free and safe parking is what keeps us coming back with how close it is to the Disney parks. I've tried out other hotels in this proximity and this is by far the cleanest. I have no problem having my babies crawl around on the floors here to burn some energy. The complimentary cucumber water in the lobby is nice with the deodorant samples too. My most recent stay included prepackaged cookies too at check-in, which was a fun surprise. The pool isn't anything special but as far as motels go, this has all your basics covered. My only reservation with giving this place a great rating is the housekeeping. The room was not very clean. They didn't change the sheets, there were hairs all over the comforter, which is disgusting. I expect at the very least, the sheets to be changed between guests. Stayed here during the Halloween marathon weekend at Disneyland. I love that the hotel is within walking distance of the parks as well as many restaurants, a Walgreens and convince stores. Made getting around very easy. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our window looked out over a rooftop, which we didn't mind as we were only in the room to sleep and relax. Another great stay and Hotel Indigo for our weekend Disney trip. Arrived late afternoon and was greeted by John at the front desk. Last time I came he also checked me in. Made sure to get his name this time. Upon check in, John thanked me for be an IHG rewards member and offered me some bottled water as a thank you. Once I got to my room I realized there was a handwritten note in there which was very thoughtful and very much appreciated. I've never had that happen to me before at a hotel. Not only recognizing that I'm a frequent IHG brand hotel guest but specifically thanking me for coming back was sweet of them. Super kudos for that nice touch. My room was immaculate. I could tell it was cleaned throughly simply by the scent when I walked in. Also had a nice firework view as well. I used the small fitness room they had which was ok. Two of the four machines were out but maybe adding some free weights would be cool but the place got my heart rate going that's all that mattered. We booked a package through Costco travel that included airfare, hotel and rental car. We were not disappointed with Hotel Indigo. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We could tell the place was an older hotel that had been completely remodeled and updated. There is a restaurant one the first floor as well. Although we did not eat there it appears clean. The rooms were very nice and included a fridge and safe. I also liked the secure underground parking. The best part of Hotel Indigo was the short walk to Disneyland. We only went to the parks one day but we walked to downtown Disney several times for dinner and drinks. read more

We came here after fleeing from a different nearby hotel that had a number of issues. What a difference. From the front desk staff to the room itself it was like night and day. We made a last minute booking with their reservation number over the phone from our nightmare hotel in the early morning and everything went so smoothly it felt like something was going to go wrong. But it never did. We pulled up to the Indigo, checked in with the friendly gentleman at the front desk who was very professional and accommodating, and got to our room with no issues. Even the underground complimentary parking was super nice! Our second night, the front desk gentleman (different than the first) went above and beyond on a simple extra towels request. When checking out, the lady at the front desk held and watched our stuff for a couple hours for us no problem and no hesitation. The room felt very private with plenty of space for the two of us. The bed and sheets were spotless. We never heard any of our neighbors either as the walls had plenty of insulation and the door was the furthest away from the bed. Nothing but a good experience here. Everyone was so nice. We are very glad we chose this hotel that evening as it provided us the very relief we desperately needed. We will be returning. read more

Staff was super friendly. She knew it was our first time staying there so they wanted to hook us up with a better view. I asked if there was a street view, but since they were booked, she recommended the back view and let us know that we might be able to see some fireworks at night. When we first got there, we pulled up to the little parking lot above ground and went inside to pre-check in . She then gave us a key card to park our car underground. It's important to know. There's a scanner on the left side as you're pulling into the driveway which I completely missed, but someone scanned behind me lol. She let us know to come back around 1- 1:30 to see if a room is available. Anaheim Garden center is a 3 to 5 minute walk so that's where we went. Checked in around 1:40 and did a quick room inspection. The bedsheets were clean, no bedbugs, no hair in the bed or bath. The room was clean. The fridge was really cold, the shower had great pressure and really hot water if you like it boiling lol. They had all the necessities like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion and surprisingly mouthwash. We slept well we didn't really hear people talking just a couple doors slam, but I think that's normal . Took us about 10 to 15 minutes to walk to the park the next day. And at night, we use the microwave in the lobby, which is available 24 hours so we use it around 10:30 at night. I would stay here again it's close to the Garden Center, Disney parks and the convention center! read more

I searched high and low for a good hotel for a trip to Disneyland after a decade of saving money. The Hotel Indigo checked all the boxes and then some. It appears to be a renovated older motel from the 60s or 70s, and they did a nice job making it look modern and chic. Here's a list of things it's got going: 1. Location: it's about a 15 minute walk to the Disney espanade. It's probably a bit long when your feet are killing you at the end of the night, but in the morning it's pretty good haha. There are plenty of chain restaurants nearby, including Bubba Gump and Cheesecake Factory. The 7-11 at the corner is great for an XL slurpee at the end of a hot day at Disney. 2. Free underground and gated parking. The parking lot is actually quite spacious and easy to navigate for a small to midsize car. Big trucks and SUVs probably should go elsewhere. This is easily worth $30 a day at the other hotels nearby. 3. Rooms are nicely decorated and bathrooms are modern and functional. The bowl sink is great being so close to your face. They provide liquid bodywash/shampoo/conditioner pump bottles so no more bar soap waste. The only downsides were perhaps the age of the building and the smell of the hallway. Staff was super nice and helpful. They forgot maid service the first day but I called the front desk and they made it right. The ice water in the lobby is great when returning from a long day of fun and sun. Next time I want to rise to the resistance, I know where I'm stayin'! read more

We stayed at the Indigo again this June. This time for 2 nights. Hotel staff is great. This time we had a room on a higher floor so we got to use the glass elevator. It's small and the hotel only has the one elevator. But we never had to wait very long for it. They have a small water show outside in front that was cute. Still a solid choice for hotel close to Disneyland. Beds are decent. Shower had good water pressure. Walk is about 12 minutes to security in Harbor. The Indigo is an option we will use again if the price is right. read more

The rooms are small and dingy, walls are cracked, there appears to be mold and mildew in the bathrooms, a slight smell that never goes away and very dingy carpets. We had a very nice stay here at HIA while visiting Disneyland . Its a fantastic location within walking distance to the park, lots of restaurants, coffee, CVS, and Walgreens. The hotel is not luxurious, but everything looked clean, modern, and well maintained. The property itself is rather on the small side, I think they call themselves a "boutique " hotel. We checked in on a Thursday in the late afternoon, was was warmly greeted by the single employee at the front counter . Check in was a few minutes , and we had a short elevator ride to our room on the third floor. The room was normal size , not huge. Bed was very comfortable , the room had basics of what you would need for a short stay. They do have a small fridge in the room. Only thing I didn't care for , was the shower. The water pressure was very weak, and it took a good few minutes to figure out how to turn the knobs to get the water flow and temp just right. Other then that , I don't think I could have asked for more. Clean. Comfortable. Walking distance to Disneyland . Love it ! read more

This is our second time staying here while visiting Disneyland. Once again, the hotel exceeded our expectations! Fantastic location, so much food nearby 10 minute easy walk to the front entrance of Disneyland and California adventure. The entire hotel is spotless, updated and fresh. The front desk receptionist Daisy was so kind and helpful again! For the price, you can't beat this place! One of the few places near Disneyland that does not charge to park! This was home base for 3 days while in Anaheim. Love this hotel and will definitely stay again. Why? 1. Free parking. Score! 2. Friendly front desk staff and housekeeping. 3. Comfy room....comfy pillows/bed, chairs etc. 4. Great bathroom. Good shower and water pressure. 5. Centrally located. About a 10 minute walk to Disneyland. Overall, had a great stay. Wifi didn't really work the 3 days we were there (I'm chalking it up to being in a corner room (401) probably) but everything else was great! read more
