I'm not surprised that he still works there. Women, and men, don't go here!!! It's a hell hole. it's not even in Malibu! There Malibu house burned down. It's in Agoura Hills! It's a nice place but I'm sorry, it's NOT MALIBU!!! False advertising! A friend picked up my belongings but I'm still waiting for them to ship me my purse, credit cards and other items. DONT GO HERE FOR YOUR RECOVERY!!! A lot of the staff and counselors are good but it's not worth it in my opinion unless you want to be drugged out , 1 counseling session in 3 long drawn out week while the pneumonia took over and the dehydration started. The groups were always impactful, and I loved the speakers they brought in. I made great friends and in my many stints in rehabs, this place was probably the safest I ever was. No creepy techs, no ulterior motives, just people who care about you and genuinely want you to get better. In the world of rehabs, many of which are shady, this place was 10/10, and Ashley was so so sweet and attentive. I could tell she genuinely wanted me to heal and it meant so much she was vulnerable enough to share her story with me. Today I am 100% sober, continuing my journey of spiritual healing & holistic wellness, a doting mother, and a future student as of this summer! I never thought my life could look like this today. This company leases homes in residential neighborhoods but does not upkeep or maintain the house in the slightest. Never did I see a gardener- it really lowers the morale and property value of the neighborhood. Staff shady and weird. Loud altercations. Gosh forbid they ever quietly unload groceries without yelling that can be heard throughout the block. Shady people coming and going at all hours!
