Went for a private birthday party event and the staff was so kind! Drinks were great and we were able to select from their extensive list of craft cocktails, the host's special cocktails of the evening or we could create our own. The bartenders were thoughtful and creative. Very cute space, ambiance was very chill and the playlist was really good. read more

Honestly, this is the second time I've tried to experience Anansi and unfortunately was disappointed. Love the ambiance and the decor, it's a super pretty space however the service is always a bit flat and the drinks are expensive and not good at all. I got a blueberry lemon drop and it tasted like blueberry sugar water, there was not real lemon or tartness to it. We also had a friend get Remy Martin and they gave him a double shot for $60 (that's insane). I really wish the drinks and service was better because it really is super pretty. read more

I've been coming here since it opened and it is one of my favorite places to go and get a really good cocktail and enjoy a personalized soundtrack of dopeness! The ambience is amazing and the service is equally immaculate. This is truly one of the best cocktail bars in Atlanta and it's a bit out of the way, so it is consistent, but not crowded. read more

Stopped here on a Thursday night. We went late for cocktails and weren't disappointed. They are known for martinis. Both our drinks were stiff. And very well balances. The vibe is speakeasy with tall ceilings. Dark decor and the music is fantastic for conversation. Not sure if weekends are more raucous but I'll stop by spoon to check it out again. read more

Came here for a girls' night and it was so much fun! The music is lo-fi R&B, and it plays popular songs but in a vibey mix. It's super dim and sexy lighting, and the drinks are strong! Parking is free in the apartment parking surface and garage lot, which was a little confusing at first. Also--bar snacks are about all they serve food-wise, so I wouldn't come hungry! Service is really good too, and the venue felt very clean and curated. Definitely coming back! read more

Ambiance is cool. This has to be my third time here my bf likes it. However we both agree the drinks are not great and the bartenders always seems inexperienced, if I'm paying those prices I want an experience bartender. We also like that it's never crazy pack and easy to find a seat however that also probably why it's never busy they drinks aren't great. Seems black owned and I want to support but I want to spend my money on things worth it and unfortunately this place is not. read more

The decor is absolutely beautiful! Opulent and cozy. It is a very small space and great for dates, not so much large groups. The drinks were good, especially during happy hour 6-8pm M-F where drinks are $9. The staff is very nice, however there is only one woman doing EVERYTHING, which doesn't accommodate quick/efficient service. I do recommend. read more

I came with my sister on a Tuesday night and we got a couple of cocktails to hang (price around $13-16, and they add 20% gratuity). The parking was right outside (spot is located on the bottom level of the apartments). The music was a great volume so you don't have to yell. This place is legit. Tucked up under a rental building Anansi is a gem of a cocktail bar/lounge. Found this place on Yelp and in spite of the low review count decided to give this place a try. Parking - easy and plenty around the building Ambience - Chic vibe, red lights, velvet couches, good music Drinks - QR code menu with a select cocktail list. I tried the old fashioned, sidecar, and asked the bartender to make me a Kentucky Made. Drinks were delicious and the bartender was able to make me a drink off the list - which was Food - don't expect much. Truffle popcorn (yum), honey mustard pretzels and olives - that's it. I'd stick with the popcorn. It's a cocktail lounge not a restaurant. Service - 5 stars. Bartender was attentive and the staff was polite. Seating - bar chairs, velvet sofas and chairs. This cocktail lounge is a vibe! I found it on Tik Tok and had to check it out for myself. The bartenders are very friendly, the ambiance is perfect for a date night or drinks with friends, and the drinks are so good. We ended up spending a few hours here trying a variety of cocktails. Very low-key but the decor is absolutely beautiful and completely matches. The vibe loved the chill R&B music it really contributed to the environment. The music is loud enough to facilitate the vibe, but quiet enough to actually have a conversation. I also love the fact that they DO NOT serve hookah. They don't have food, just a few little bar snacks. I got the bowl of pretzels. They were honey mustard pretzels, and the bowl is tiny. It's just a little something to snack on while you sip. The drinks were delicious! There's a little something for everybody and the drinks do have a little kick so be mindful if you're driving . I also really appreciate that. The drinks are reasonably priced. I can't recall my waitress name, but she was super sweet and the entire staff was so accommodating and attentive. This is literally the perfect spot. While this place does not have a food menu the vibes make up for it. This cute cocktail bar is nestled in Avondale Estates right outside of downtown Decatur. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The ambiance is dark but fits the aesthetic perfectly. There seemed to be only one server and a couple bar tenders and I was worried at first but they definitely held the place down. I absolutely love this cocktail lounge! No entry fee, no paid parking, no obnoxious, overpriced vip area and no hookah's, just vibes!!! The decor is beautiful. It's very intimate and has a few couches and chairs throughout as well as limited outdoor seating. The music they played was great and the drinks were good. Paris provided great customer service as well. They have a limited menu at the moment, but have a full bar and can make anything you want. They also have a few snacks including truffle popcorn. Sexy! This place is small and intimate, definitely for the grown and sexy crowd. I appreciated that there wasn't a dress code, but you'll want to add a little razzle dazzle to match the vibe inside. Ive been wantung to check this place out. Tge atmosphere is chic and low lighting. Red light special is the best way to describe. The seats are comfy and the drinks were tasty. Cocktails are reasonably priced between $12- 15. They have a happy hour where the drinks are $9. I ordered the Mexican Mule and the French 75 with tequila. They were strong but balanced. I also had a shot of tequila which was $11. All in all a great experience. I'm really impressed with this lounge. The location is convenient with good parking. The interior is very well decorated with good decor and lighting. The service was attentive and not cloying. They were away from the table but came over immediately to take drink orders. I had a French 75 and my date had a martini and we went through a few other strong and tasty cocktails. I think this is a good location for a work meetup or to meetup with a friend. It also seems like a good place to sit at the bar and write or work. There aren't many other bars like this in Atlanta and there's so much character. read more

First off, this bar is aesthetically pleasant. However, the service is subpar and no one pays attention to the fact that your drink is wrong. They do not use fresh fruit fruits, and they do not correct your drink when it's in correct. I spoke with the bar manager who focused more on an image Versus the reality of the service. I do not recommend I would never come here again and there are better bars at the four season. Bar Margot is the way to go. Ask for Faith.! Trying to support black businesses gone wrong. We drove all the way from Sandy Springs over here to support and we're treated like Third World citizens. read more

Beautiful decor on the inside, a lot of Instagram-able spaces to take pics. Came here on a Monday with one of my girlfriends. We were greeted and the seating is open, they do have couches outside but it has been raining the day we went. The young lady that served us was attentive & kind. This place is definitely for a girls night or a date, soft r&b in the background that is low enough to still have a conversation. No hookah or cigars here, which I appreciated. They have a cocktail menu and a full bar. Being that this is a cocktail bar, I wish they had more drinks on the menu (reason for 4 stars), I appreciate a nice mixologist selection. They only serve snacks here like popcorn & pretzels, but if you get hungry Flippin Pizza is next door and Decatur Food Hall is a one minute drive down the street. Bathrooms are extremely clean. Staff is friendly and fast. Cons. They only have outdoor seating. Most of the seats are stools without backs. There were some flies and a wasp lurking in the patio. Never had someone do that before. $34 for a cheesesteak, potatoes, and small drink seems to be overly priced at a take-out spot. It would be more understanding if you could dine-in or had waiter service. I ordered the Korean Cheesesteak with smashed fried potatoes and a Bourbon Peach Punch. The drink was tasty but really small to cost $10. It looked like a 6oz cup. I would prefer to pay $5 more for a full glass. The smashed fried potatoes were covered in a sauce and some of the best potatoes I have had anywhere. The cheesesteak was made with pork (also a new experience for me) and had plenty of cheese and onions.

I was told it was listed on their website, but let's be real...this is 2026--people are checking IG and TikTok, not websites. If you're promoting on social media, it needs to be accurate. We got there around 4:15 PM (happy hour starts at 4), and the place was empty--music wasn't even on yet. My party of four was seated right away, and we ordered drinks, food, and hookah. The lounge itself was beautiful--decked out in red and black with a really nice vibe. I had lemon drops and wings--both were actually really good. No complaints on the food or drink at all. But just know, the wings were not $5 since that special didn't apply that day. Now...the hookah experience? A complete mess. The hookah wasn't $5 either--it was $25 if I recall correctly. The hookah attendant recommended a flavor that was honestly not good at all. When we told her we didn't like it and asked to switch flavors (which we were willing to pay for), she tried to make us purchase a refill instead of simply fixing the issue. We asked to speak to a manager. She went to the back and spoke with someone who I later found out was the owner--but he never came out to address us. That alone didn't sit right with me. Instead, she came back, grabbed the hookah, and walked off. No explanation, no replacement--nothing. It felt like, "We won't charge you, but you're also not getting another one." That whole situation completely turned us off. Now I will give credit where it's due--our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. Friendly, attentive, and she did her best to take care of us. But overall, between the misleading Instagram promotion, the poor hookah experience, and the lack of management presence...this just wasn't it for me. Giving Voss 2/5 for good food, a beautiful space, and a great waitress Everything else? Needs work. Unfortunately, I won't be back!

We also tried the pork belly, which I'd give a 7.5/10. It was good, but it wasn't the standout dish of the meal. For drinks, the Seed Spitter was incredibly fresh and refreshing, and the Strawberry Delight was another solid choice. I was a bit underwhelmed when I saw my plate because I was thinking it would be a plate full of grits, but what was served was the perfect amount because it was quite heavy. The trout by itself was too salty for my taste, but was best eaten with a bite of collards and grits. My husband enjoyed his meal, but wished the duck was cooked a bit more. For dessert, we both enjoyed a Paris Brest. Our server actually put it in twice so we each got one when she meant to only punch in one, but she ended up taking one off from our bill. I was quite shocked that our whole dinner was only around $190, not including tip, which I thought was quite reasonable. The skin was crispy. It was a decent sized fillet and the sauce was a good pairing. Overall, lovely experience. I'm giving it four stars instead of five stars because there are multiple shells in a couple of the oysters.

The staff are fantastic, personable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. They really know their craft and are happy to share recommendations on both drinks and food. The ambiance adds so much to the experience, I recommend you to come and relax on the patio or grab a seat at the bar. There's such a great vibe all around that makes you want to stay awhile. We weren't sure about the poutine because we didn't see any gravy, we did see the cheese curds on the fries, but once we finally dug in, the gravy was at the bottom. The pierogies were tasty. We asked if they could cut the cornbread so each of us could get a taste, which they did. Corn bread had a toasted texture, and the honey butter was delicious! Everyone ordered something different. One had fish and chips, which would seem to be a likely order for a pub. Their special for the day was a ruben. Another ordered a falafel sandwich, and I think 2 salmon BLT's and then one salad with rainbow trout. Portions were not overwhelming, but we realized that we were full from the appetizers and almost everyone ended up taking most of their main choices in doggie bags (boxes). As time got closer to the festival to start, it did get crowded, but the staff handled the influx of people and people were seated relatively quickly. This was a nice destination as most of the group live a drive from Decatur. Lovely afternoon visit!
