So this is the perfect dimly lid old school intimate vibe that you may be looking for on a night out. It's in the Granada hotel, but you may have to go around to the side of the building if you don't have a key of some sort. Which is fine! It's really not descript but there is a doorway on the side of the street which is at the side of the hotel itself, you can go up a couple of steps and there you are. Given a fact of where you are, you have to figure out parking as it comes along, but that's okay because if you're in midtown you know you're in midtown LOL. But there are Ample parking structures around. So this is a establishment that gives off old school speakeasy vibes. It has music playing in the background so you can get a little vibe. The last time I went they had Frankie Beverly playing as soon as I walked in the door so I knew I was going to be all right! It's very dimly lit and there are a lot of candles around so don't expect a live and loud establishment. Unless there's music playing. And by that I mean live music. On Thursday they typically have live music. As of right now, they have Thursday jazz and the saxophone player toggles from upstairs to downstairs with his music. But they're looking into getting a more solidified schedule again. So just stay tuned and I'm assuming you would have to check out their Instagram or the website to see when the live music events are going to occur. We sat at the bar just for a quick drink and to catch some nice chill vibes. I got an old fashioned, pretty well crafted old fashioned with Uncle nearest, no complaints. The staff was very friendly and very talkative, not overly talkative but they were very engaging which is what you want from a bartender. Overall, I can see this being a spot that I would visit frequently. It's not a sports bar so don't expect tons of TVs, but if you just want to kick back and have a conversation with a couple of friends, this will be a really good spot to enjoy.

If you're in Atlanta and love an elevated speakeasy vibe, May Peel is a must-visit. Tucked beneath Hotel Granada, this place feels like a well-kept secret--intimate, moody, and effortlessly cool. From the moment you walk in, you're transported. The lighting is low, the music is just right, and the attention to detail in the décor makes it feel like you stepped into another time. It's sultry without being pretentious. Now let's talk drinks--because wow. The cocktail menu is creative without being overwhelming, and everything we tried was balanced, bold, and beautifully presented. I ordered the Wimbledon and Cloud Eleven both of which were very tasty! The service was equally impressive. Welcoming, knowledgeable, and never overbearing. It's the kind of place where you can have a deep conversation, celebrate something special, or just escape the city for a few hours. Whether you're local or visiting, May Peel is worth seeking out.

This speakeasy is a cute vibe. Just in time for V-Day they had a special V-Day cocktail menu and the night I went there happened to be a live saxophonist playing old school RnB and neo soul hits. I ordered a Love Potion and an Espresso Martini to drink. The Love Potion had good flavors and presentation, but it wasn't boozy enough for me. The Espresso Martini however, was delicious and very on point. I wouldn't hesitate to order it again. Suki also provided very good service which I always appreciate. Overall, a good experience and I would definitely come back to try some more cocktails and the sandos.

Super cute speakeasy in the lower level of the Granada Hotel. Very cozy, dark and sexy space. The mix of music was amazing and set the vibe. The drinks were delicious! Our bartender was super sweet. I was visiting Atlanta for the week and popped in with my girlfriend and friend for drinks. We were impressed the moment we walked in. The vibe was there. They have spoken word and live jazz nights as well. A hidden gem and definitely a spot to impress your date. Highly recommend!

This review is for the late night vibe with jazz and the skillful bartender and handcrafted drink, I did not try the food... That is next! I walked here from my apartements and the vibe was super chill with the jazz music playing. I walked to the front of The Granada Hotel and was made aware that if you are not a guest at the hotel then they have their own entrance that is up the steps on the side street of the hotel. We were greeted warmly, the lights were dim and the candles were lit. Very smooth vibe. Apparently they have live music some days, I think the gentle man said Thursday nights. I can definitely see it being a cozy calm evening/night cap situation. It is too close and nice for me to say that I will not be back :). See you guys later!

Went here for ladies night tonight and it was such a vibe. I highly recommend. They had a sax player and he was really good. The place is super cute and low key. The food "snacks" were good. If your looking for a full meal you won't get that here because they are mostly cocktails. But the snacks and drinks are really good! The service was excellent! Our server was Ahji and he was on point. He was friendly and took really good care of us! This cocktail lounge is located at a hotel as well just fyi

I sat at the bar and had a little light banter with the bartender who is a brother looking to be in his late 30's-early 40's. When I asked about two fruity cocktails from the menu, he flat-out said he wasn't going to make them. That alone was off-putting. Trying to move forward, I asked what he specialized in, and he said he'd "come up with something." I agreed--but very clearly stated: no rum, because my body does not react well to it. After watching him make drinks for people who ordered after me, he eventually handed me a cocktail I never even saw him prepare. That already raised a flag. I took a few sips, and sure enough--my stomach immediately started reacting the exact way it does when I've had rum. When I asked what alcohol he used, he said, "I don't even know." That response alone tells you everything you need to know. At that point, I reminded him I specifically said no rum. Instead of taking accountability, he tried to argue and backtrack. Let me be clear--when a customer tells you not to use a specific liquor, you don't ignore it, guess, or "forget." That's basic service and basic respect. This situation completely threw off my evening, as I had plans afterward and ended up feeling sick. To make matters worse, I reached out to management and received no response. That lack of accountability speaks volumes. At the end of the day, this wasn't just a bad drink--it was careless service. This staff does not prioritize customer care, and that's a problem. If you choose to visit, be very direct, pay close attention, and don't assume your requests will be respected.

This year the drinks were blah, the food was mediocre, the vibe was non-existent, and the service was the bare minimal. I have been to other pop-ups this year and would recommend any of them over this include Rreal Taco down the street or Hamp & Harry's or even just picking up the Grinch Happy Meal at McDonald's. Pros: Parking onsite, Reservations (sort of), friendly host (best part of the experience) and server (but absent), nice decorations. Cons: Expensive, boring drinks, overcooked and poorly plated food, not a lively nor festive vibe, poor communication and customer service. Even though this is the only pop-up pre-charging for their event and it was significantly more than a year ago, we liked having a booked time and it was a great experience previously so we booked in early November, but within an hour of booking, we had to adjust the time via OpenTable to a couple hours later. Faster forward to two days before our booking. Confirmations comes in and we notice it is the old time. Called, left messages, send messages through multiple means. Zero response. Called the next day and finally reached the manager who said that the time we wanted wasn't available even though it was the day before so took a later option at 730. Arrive on time but they don't have a table. While waiting they seat us in another area and offer extras since they are late...but they bring chips and salsa 30 mins after 730 when we were supposed to be seat 10-15 mins after we arrive. No waters or anything. Bring complementary margaritas at 810 but only 4 and there are 6 of us. The waitress was dismissive and there was no one else in the bar when we got there. Finally seated at 830 even though they are timed reservations and said they were going to be asking people to wrap within 15 mins of 730. Food was so basic and slapped on the table. Drinks were not festive at all. Ran out of hot chocolate. No festive cups or anything. It was the most mediocre experience I have had. Skip it!
