I stumbled upon Roaring Social one night where I wasn't quite ready to go home. I googled live music in the area and I discovered that they were having I've band Karaoke; don't mind if I do! Our bartender was fabulous and the food and drink was delicious and fresh. They have a really nice drink menu with different cocktails as well as a full bar. We had a delicious spread of mac & cheese, pizza, Caesar salad, and fried shrimp. I will definitely go here again for a party!

My girlfriends and I dressed up for a cocktails, dinner, and music at Roaring Social-Decatur. When we arrived, there was no line, however we were quickly greeted by the host and he even took some nice photos of us. Our server was friendly and our food/drinks arrived quickly. The live music artist, Jacob Blazer, was so entertaining and talented too. We will return again.

Chris (treble) is the funniest and most reliable bartender. He's so attentive and the atmosphere is that of obviously the 1920s. If you have to ask you don't know. The food is delicious but the drinks are even better. Chris makes the most delicious drinks and I definitely recommend coming here. Oooh ohhh oahhhh.

This place was amazing! I can very much see this place being the to-go for folks celebrating something or just go have a good time! It definitely has the speakeasy situation down pat as you need a password and some other items before you actually go in. The space and ambiance is amazing; all the staff was very friendly and my drink was magnificent! I had a smoked old fashioned and I don't think I have ever been asked about how much I want my old fashion smoked but it was very good! I cannot wait to go back on purpose (as this visit was very random).

This new speakeasy in downtown Decatur is truly one of a kind! The prohibition 1920s theme came through in the various decor and actors/staff. Entering the speakeasy was pretty easy even though we realized we didn't know the password. Once we realized we needed to "make a deposit", we were led to a replica bank room and into the bar. The vibe was really cool! Lots of interactive opportunities such as bowling and a photo booth. The food and drinks were a little slow to come out, even with not many people visiting. The food itself was yummy! The steak was tender and well seasoned. Wish the sauce came on the side because it wasn't my favorite. The music was also very loud and didn't really match the aesthetic of the place in my opinion, but did have a good vibe to it! Overall, I think they're still settling in, but would love to try it out again sometime in the future!

OMG!! Can I give this place 10 stars? I'm at a loss for words to tell you how fantastic this place is. Just get there as fast as you can and ask questions later! Everything about it was top tier, elegant, fun, lively and friendly. Over the top service all night long! This one is going to be hard to top! Make sure you get the password online before you go, and the fun begin begins with the password! Yes!!!!

My new favorite Thursday night Karoake spot. The band is great and so is every single person working here. They're all super warm and attentive. I always have a good time and the food is really tasty. I look forward to trying them out on a weekend.

The small bites were very good and drinks to accommodate refreshing! Ambiance is absolutely amazing! My bartender was extremely attentive! I will definitely be back for sure and rotate between the Decatur (this visit and review) and Alpharetta locations!! A freaking "crazysexycool" evening and beautiful people enjoying their lives!!!

My wife and I visited Roaring Social for an early dinner at 5:30 pm on a Friday. The restaurant was nearly empty with just one other couple there. The Good: The entrance experience is fantastic. They've clearly put thought and effort into the bank vault theme, and walking through that vault door really sets the stage. The interior has a nice lounge vibe with comfortable couches and areas that would work well for larger groups. The steak frites special was genuinely delicious. The steak was tender with a lovely chimichurri salsa, and the fries with garlic aioli were fantastic. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu, which we appreciated. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, the theming breaks down once you're past that impressive entrance. There are two TV screens and a large stage with a big screen behind it that clash with the speakeasy concept. The contemporary music doesn't help, and during our visit, a band was doing mic checks and practice for an evening performance (they typically start after 7:00 pm). My wife and I had to nearly shout to hear each other at times, which isn't what I expect from a speakeasy atmosphere. The cocktails were just okay. Their smoked old fashioned lacked any sweetness and came across as too strong. The charcuterie board was disappointing--the only cheese appeared to be pre-packaged cubes you'd find at any grocery store, and it came with crispy, cracker-like bread instead of the naan advertised on the menu. Overall: Roaring Social has potential, especially if you're going with a larger group and aren't expecting an intimate, quiet speakeasy experience. But between the broken theming and the noise level, it's not somewhere I'm rushing back to anytime soon.

Super fun experience! Went with a work group and loved how we entered the speakeasy and immediately the vibe. Drinks were great, dessert was great, food was good to great, and loved the vibes. Music sometimes didn't match the vibe but it was still a fun night! All the servers were kind and accommodating.

We snagged an early dinner reservation at 5:15 pm and surprisingly, people were already dining and they just got busier as time went on. We were greeted right away by our wonderful server (forgot her name though) and she asked if it was our first time there and if we were celebrating something. We answered yes to both and they actually brought us complimentary champagne, a sparkling non-alcoholic cider for me because I ordered a zero proof drink. Kimball House is known for their amazing bar program, so my husband ordered a Kimball House served with a side of olives and lemon twist on ice, like what?! I ordered a ginger & honey lime fizz to enjoy. For starters, we also enjoyed Hawaiian rolls, green salad and some oysters for my husband. The rolls and salad came out super fast, but there was quite a wait for our drinks and oysters that I didn't think they were going to come out. The rolls are a must-get here - they're huge and the strawberry preserve it was served with was delicious! The salad was actually split in half, which was a super nice touch and was plenty of serving between two people. We loved the dressing - it was nice and fresh. For our entree, I ordered a trout and my husband ordered the duck breast. I was a bit underwhelmed when I saw my plate because I was thinking it would be a plate full of grits, but what was served was the perfect amount because it was quite heavy. The trout by itself was too salty for my taste, but was best eaten with a bite of collards and grits. My husband enjoyed his meal, but wished the duck was cooked a bit more. For dessert, we both enjoyed a Paris Brest. Our server actually put it in twice so we each got one when she meant to only punch in one, but she ended up taking one off from our bill. I was quite shocked that our whole dinner was only around $190, not including tip, which I thought was quite reasonable. We definitely recommend this place for date night or simply for delicious food.

They have so many different tiki cocktails that you can choose from. They are mostly made of rum, but they have a few other ones that are made with different alcohols. Me and my wife both got our own drinks. Hers was a special Valentine's Day themed drink that was on the menu, and mine was one of the tequila/mezcal tiki drinks. Both tasted really good! The presentation was just as good too! You aren't limited to these though, it's a full bar, so you can get whatever you want. They also have a few food options, but very limited. Our bartender, Heather, was super nice as well. My wife had asked (when I went to the restroom) if they did anything for birthdays, since my birthday was a few days prior. She did this cool fire presentation and gave us two little slushie shots. Awesome bartender for sure! SOS is a great place to go for some really fun drinks. The wait staff was attentive, making sure we had our beverages and if we needed anything before the 2 arrived. Once they arrived, the staff gave us a few minutes to make sure the 2 had a chance to look at the menus. We ordered appetizers to start...corn bread, sage fried pierogies and poutine. We weren't sure about the poutine because we didn't see any gravy, we did see the cheese curds on the fries, but once we finally dug in, the gravy was at the bottom. The pierogies were tasty. We asked if they could cut the cornbread so each of us could get a taste, which they did. Corn bread had a toasted texture, and the honey butter was delicious! Everyone ordered something different. One had fish and chips, which would seem to be a likely order for a pub. Their special for the day was a ruben. Another ordered a falafel sandwich, and I think 2 salmon BLT's and then one salad with rainbow trout. Portions were not overwhelming, but we realized that we were full from the appetizers and almost everyone ended up taking most of their main choices in doggie bags (boxes). As time got closer to the festival to start, it did get crowded, but the staff handled the influx of people and people were seated relatively quickly. This was a nice destination as most of the group live a drive from Decatur. Lovely afternoon visit!

We visited Voss Lounge on Wednesday, April 1, excited for happy hour after seeing their Instagram flyer advertising $5 drinks, small apps, and hookah. Well...that's not exactly what we got. Once we arrived, we were told those $5 specials were actually for Tuesdays--not Wednesdays--and that detail was not clear on Instagram. I was told it was listed on their website, but let's be real...this is 2026--people are checking IG and TikTok, not websites. If you're promoting on social media, it needs to be accurate. We got there around 4:15 PM (happy hour starts at 4), and the place was empty--music wasn't even on yet. My party of four was seated right away, and we ordered drinks, food, and hookah. The lounge itself was beautiful--decked out in red and black with a really nice vibe. I had lemon drops and wings--both were actually really good. No complaints on the food or drink at all. But just know, the wings were not $5 since that special didn't apply that day. Now...the hookah experience? A complete mess. The hookah wasn't $5 either--it was $25 if I recall correctly. The hookah attendant recommended a flavor that was honestly not good at all. When we told her we didn't like it and asked to switch flavors (which we were willing to pay for), she tried to make us purchase a refill instead of simply fixing the issue. We asked to speak to a manager. She went to the back and spoke with someone who I later found out was the owner--but he never came out to address us. That alone didn't sit right with me. Instead, she came back, grabbed the hookah, and walked off. No explanation, no replacement--nothing. It felt like, "We won't charge you, but you're also not getting another one." That whole situation completely turned us off. Now I will give credit where it's due--our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. Friendly, attentive, and she did her best to take care of us. But overall, between the misleading Instagram promotion, the poor hookah experience, and the lack of management presence...this just wasn't it for me. Giving Voss 2/5 for good food, a beautiful space, and a great waitress Everything else? Needs work. Unfortunately, I won't be back!
