Nice spot with a large variety of wines in the area across from the Meritage hotel. 3.5 stars Highlights: - Location: in plaza with other tasting rooms. Super convenient if you're staying at the hotel. - Outdoor area covered in plastic but open on side which we were comfortable with. - Service: attentive, knowledgeable, and great memory for our orders. Bonus that whenever he mentioned a wine he turned on this cool French accent. Also we had another person come up to us in between to ensure we were taken care of which was nice. - Wines: good variety from sparkly to white to red and fun descriptions they brought you - Tastings: 3 versions can choose from with varying quality. Like how you can mix and match and they will adjust the price accordingly. - Credits back for tasting for buying 3 bottles of wine Midlights: - Didn't have a standout favorite wine Lowlights: - Not a winery with a view but comfy relaxing plaza area Enjoyed a little afternoon tasting after we checked in at the hotel and would come back if stayed there again.

Great place to do a reasonably priced tasting for good value. Adrian was a great host and fun to talk to. Came here twice in 2 days. Casual and fun. Let us pick the music which was fun.

Had the best stop-in with Connor. He walked us through the tastings and all the modern blends. Great spot for happy hour

There was plenty of street parking available, making it easy to get there. Once inside, we immediately noticed the ambiance. The space is elegant and welcoming, making it perfect for either a group wine-tasting experience or a date night. We booked online for a party of two and chose the Legacy Tasting, along with the sweet and savory snack pairing. Every wine in the Legacy Collection was excellent. Each pour offered something different, and we enjoyed the entire lineup. The snack pairing was also well done and complemented the wines nicely. A special shoutout to Luke, who made the experience even better. He was knowledgeable, informative, and took the time to explain the wines without making the tasting feel rushed. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Great wine, great atmosphere, and excellent service. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area and in the mood for some wine.

The small intimate setting, beautiful views, amazing wines at reasonable prices, and great cheese pairings made this place a stop to remember. I ended up buying a case and joining the wine club. They also waived our tasting fees with our bottle purchases (I think it's one tasting waived per two bottles but double check me on that). They also gave me a free (and quite sturdy and good quality) branded wine key, perhaps for joining the club. I also appreciated they gave us water bottles and allowed two of our guests (who were driving) to join us but not have to pay for the tasting. I wish more wineries allowed that to allow for safe and responsible tastings. Highly recommend and will definitely be back again! This by far will have to be a stop for us every time we come to Napa. The setting was SO intimate (we were the only ones there), the view was beautiful, and we were treated like family in someone's home. The owner even came out to greet us. It was so sweet. Their story was amazing, the wine pairings were great, and we loved every single wine we tried. This was the only winery we visited where every person in our group bought multiple bottles, a case or a membership to their wine club. All of us still get the email updates from the vineyard, and look forward to their spring release wines (specifically the Sauvignon Blanc & Rosé)! When I tell you every wine of theirs we tasted was amazing, I mean every single one! I've even received hand written cards every Christmas since we visited from the family. They truly made our experience so special. Their wine, their vineyard, their hospitality and the attention to detail made Taylor Family Vineyards our favorite winery to date. I can't wait to visit again!

My family and I came on a Saturday afternoon per the recommendation of the owners, who we met at a Tesla event. We didn't go to the vineyard itself, but the tasting room that they have in downtown Napa right along the river . We were greeted kindly and decided to settle on three tastings. My mind was blown by actually liking Rosè, a drink I usually am not a fan of! We started off with two white wines, followed by three various red blends, one of which we took a bottle home. They also have a neat membership program that is essentially of no cost per year as long as you buy a bottle a year (I believe there's some price minimum depending on the bottle). This also includes free tasting all year round for up to 6 people at a time. The wines were explained to us in great detail, and the guy explaining it to us (I wish I remembered his name, but he was great) entertained all our various questions as we are wine novices. Highly highly recommend !

Metal Art In The Blackbird Vineyards Field Exhibition Area…read more SITREP I stopped by recently in the City of Napa to take in the very cool metal artwork in the Blackbird Vineyards Field Exhibition right off Oak Knoll Avenue. [Note: whereas the Storefront sales office is located in Yountville, this part of the vineyard borders on the City of Napa, hence the apparent discrepancy with this location address.] THE SETUP The large metal art includes: (1) a giant key, (2) a just-as-giant keyhole, (3) a giant segment of chain-link, and, (4) a giant metal gear! As I was explaining my docent, I found the choice of items - and the metal - to make this a very creative exhibition in the Spirit of Steampunking! METAL ART-SCULPTURE EXPRESSION! This is just some very fun artwork and a very creative use of vineyard space where as explained to me that the soil is just too fallow and workable and perhaps a bit too close to the roadaway. THE LOWDOWN A stop to view some pretty amazing metal art-sculptures.

My husband and I were able to call ahead and schedule a very last-minute tasting, and from the very beginning, the hospitality was exceptional. I work in the wine industry on the retail side in Texas, while my husband does not, so creating an experience that feels both educational and approachable for both of us is not always easy. Steve absolutely nailed it. He welcomed us warmly, shared thoughtful stories about the wines and the winery, and made the experience feel incredibly personal. The tasting room itself is beautiful and feels like a hidden gem in Napa. We especially loved learning about the wines and the woman winemaker behind Levendi. The tasting was stunning from start to finish. What truly sets Levendi apart, though, is the level of hospitality. Since our visit, I have referred many of my favorite clients to Levendi, and Steve consistently goes above and beyond for them. He bends over backwards to make sure my customers are taken care of, and every single person I've sent has come back raving about their experience. At this point, a trip to Napa would not feel complete without a stop at Levendi. I honestly cannot imagine Napa without Levendi -- or Steve. If it's your first visit, do yourself a favor and try the Stagecoach. You won't be sorry.

The tour was a bit short for what it's worth, but there is an art gallery portion you are allowed to tour at your own self-guided pace. We then proceeded with wine tasting and a cheese board. I was so pleasantly surprised to see the custom welcoming of our names on the menu. It was such a cute, personalized touch. 10/10 for the ambiance, fresh, blooming wisteria vines, and presentation of both the wine and cheese board. 7/10 for the wine. We really only enjoyed the Chardonnay and the Cabernet Sauvignon out of the 4 options. 8/10 for the cheese. Great presentation of the cheese with some unique spreads: apricot ginger and a cab mustard. The cheese selection included a variety of cow and sheep's milk. I enjoyed the Lambchopper and Barely Buzzed the most, the Grazin Girl being my least favorite. My boyfriend enjoyed the Invirness the most due to its soft texture, so it all depends on your personal preference! I may have also finished all the chocolate almonds myself :D This is definitely a nice spot to visit for your first time in Napa, as it's a little tucked away and away from tourists.
