7/8/2026 I brought my mom in for a follow-up after a Bartholin's cyst drainage at the ER, this is the third time she's dealt with this. Front desk staff and nurse were kind, and based on the reviews I was genuinely hopeful going in. Then Dr Elias came in and it fell apart. He never once addressed my mom directly, even after learning she needed a translator, he spoke only to me, as if she wasn't there. He asked a couple of rushed questions, had her undress, then removed her drainage tube without explaining a single step. It hurt her, and she had no idea what was happening because he never said a word to prepare her. He said it was infected, walked out, then came back and handed us a slip for antibiotics. No explanation of why it got infected, how to care for the area, what to avoid, or what to watch for. When I turned to ask if my mom had questions, he was already walking out the door. My mom had other concerns she wanted to raise, but after being brushed off like that, she didn't bother. That says everything about how this visit made her feel. read more

Saw Dr. Elias for about two years. I really wanted it to work out, and I was more than patient. First time I saw him he said to me, "you know you have to go through surrogacy." Mind you I was there because I was having bad pain. I had my tubes removed so of course I knew I couldn't get pregnant and nothing on my intake forms mentioned me inquiring pregnancy. In the two years he was able to give me a diagnosis with cysts, a mass, and Adenomyosis. I was grateful for his diagnosis and finally some answers. When I mentioned light duty due to pain until we figure out a plan or solution and he responded, "I can't do that!" I did a more than incredibly painful biopsy with him under no medication and it was beyond painful and he showed no compassion. I didn't feel heard or cared for. He offered no treatment plan. I called him expressing how bad I was bleeding and in pain, and he told me to go to the ER to ensure nothing ruptured. I go to the ER and the doctors ask me what did your OBGYN offer for you w/ these findings, I had to tell them nothing along side of continuing testing. Short time after, he tells me we will redo testing in another two months. Thats when I knew that was it for me. About a month later I went to another OBGYN to get another opinion. Now I am in recovery from a total hysterectomy. Mass removed, no more scary bleeding, etc., I firmly believe if you're with child Dr. Elias will be good for you, but if you're having problems outside of pregnancy I don't feel you will get the care you need here. read more

Shockingly terrible doctor, and overall, terrible experience. I know it sounds cliche to say this, but I wish I could give zero stars. Up front - if you have any type of trauma in the past and need an empathetic OBGYN, THIS IS NOT THE DOCTOR FOR YOU. If you want to feel listened to and not just blindly be given random antibiotics, THIS IS NOT THE DOCTOR FOR YOU! Also, it is NOT standard practice for there to be a nurse in the room with the (male) doctor. I asked for this accommodation and was treated very poorly over it. The doctor cowered in the corner (I swear to you - I wasn't horrendous or screaming or anything, I just wanted to have a woman in the room with me due to super bad experiences in the past). You think that instead of making me feel like a monster for jerks in his profession, he could have stepped up and tried to assure me. My prior ObGyn is male but super awesome as a person, but I moved away and needed to find a new one. To make it worse - the doctor misdiagnosed me and prescribed unhelpful anti biotics. I had to pressure him to get tested instead of just blindly taking more anti biotics. When I returned with the same health issue, he told me to "Go to a specialist" (urologist). Which I did; that is how I found out I shouldn't have followed the Elias's original advice and should have listened to my inner voice (which was to get a urine test first to identify the issue, instead of just taking meds). Also, if you want labs done at Quest or another lab, you have to heavily pressure them to give you a form. They default to a local lab that is impossible to schedule with. read more

This is my first time being pregnant. I was not informed beforehand that it's recommended to not go pee before an ultrasound and was condescending about not knowing (First red flag). I drank water and tried again, he only did a regular ultrasound and because he couldn't see anything. He determined I was ectopic. I have absolutely no signs of being ectopic. I am not bleeding nor in any pain. I immediately got a second opinion from a different doctor and they started with a vaginal ultrasound and immediately told me I am fine and there are no signs of ectopic. I am just 6 weeks instead of 9 :) I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. THEY ARE VERY RUSHED AND QUICK TO MAKE MAJOR ASSUMPTIONS. Listen to your gut ladies and always get a second opinion before starting unneeded labs and treatments!! read more

Dr. Elias and his staff are the best. I've gone to them through two pregnancies - one was an emergency C-section, which he came in for and was honest about where the state of both myself and the baby were, risks and concerns clearly laid out. The second pregnancy didn't work out, unfortunately, and I felt very informed through the whole process. He listened to my needs and agreed to hang on as long as we safely could, but directed me to other outlets when he could tell I needed a second opinion. Losing a pregnancy is never anything I'd wish on anyone, but the level of care I received helped me get through an extremely hard time. I love to know the facts without emotion, as emotions can always be high with raging hormones, but the women working there and Dr. Elias were genuinely compassionate and caring. Had 3 C sections with Dr. Elias and everything went so well. Appointments were always so quick and I never had to wait long in the office. He is very professional and right to the point. My ONLY complain is that he does not give any pictures for ultrasounds and office is a little old..but I did not care given that I trusted him 100% to do my surgeries. Unfortunately I moved to Georgia so he is no longer my OB, but I hope to find someone of his quality out here! read more

Recently becoming a new resident of Ontario, I was in search of a great obgyn to give me the right care and peace of mind as I was pregnant with my first child. At first I was very worried of how my experience would be, however, from the star the staff, Dr and ultrasound tech, were great. I am so grateful to have found a great Dr. He took really care of me during and after my delivery. I was very anxious and worrisome but he always answered my questions and scheduled routine check ups which helped me remain calm. Terrible experience, we saw him about 5x almost every week and he still didn't remember our names or remember us. We had to repeatedly tell him how far along we were and our names....he also refused to give us a Drs note until a week later until he evaluated her, he gave it for 2 weeks then gave us a hard time when we asked for it again. He said come back in 2 days she goes to work in 2 days...Last straw was telling us to go see him @12:15 we got there and they are at lunch with my GF and severe symptoms and were waiting over an HR. Unfortunately, Dr. Elias is not a thorough health care provider. If this is your first pregnancy or you are looking for a more hands on doctor, I definitely do not recommend this office. This could just be my personal experience but this is an office where you'll just be another number. I had to advocate just to get basic answers to some pretty serious questions. A specific situation occurred that made me switch health care providers at 32 weeks pregnant & I wish I would've just done that from the start. I do like that they do ultrasounds every appointment, it is nice to see the baby. That is the only positive thing I have to say. I'm not sure how there are positive reviews from this place. I had the single worst experience I've ever had at a gynecologist. The office is dated and stuck in the 90s with "no smoking" signs posted. It's not clean, old technology is used, and it felt like no one wanted to be there. The female tech told me to remove my clothes from the waist down so I did. Anas Elias walked in and gave a disturbed look saying this was just a consultation. Then get on the same page with your employees and don't make ME feel uncomfortable..? After telling him my first IUD insertion was the most pain I've been in, I asked if he offered lidocaine to help with the removal and reinsertion of my new IUD. He said he has it but I won't need it because "it's not that painful." COMING FROM A MAN WITH NO UTERUS. I said I still wanted it and he said his other patients said he's "quick" so it's not needed. Then why even tell me you have it to begin with? He also said he doesn't complete the removal of the IUD and insertion at the same time. They're scheduled a week apart. Why?? To double down on billing my insurance? And make me uncomfortable not once, but twice? He wanted to check the IUD strings, so I did the infamous scoot down the table to assume the position. He then used a freezing cold speculum. No warning, warming, or communication - just went on in with a cold metal speculum. I will never return and ensure my insurance is aware of this as well. read more

As a woman who is not pregnant but is always trying to keep her health up, I blessed to find Dr. Elias. Prior to coming to him I had discovered I had fibroids and when I shared this information with him, he got right on it. He helped me to eliminate and cancel out any other possible issues and to this day he has been amazing through my entire journey. I have debated writing this review but I feel it is important for new mothers to hear this story before coming to Dr. Elias. I am giving a 1 because my experience was very anxiety provoking. High level: The place lacks communication, has old equipment & the doctor did not have the best bedside manner. I went here because he has amazing reviews (hmm?) but I scheduled by 8 week prenatal scan and was told on the phone that I would be doing an ultrasound and checking for a heartbeat. When I arrived, the nurse wasn't sure if I was doing an ultrasound or not but confirmed pregnancy. When I got in the room with the doctor, he sat down and immediately asked "What questions do you have for me?". I felt rushed to ask and had no expectation of what the appointment was going to look like. How do I know what to ask when I haven't even met you yet? He answered questions briefly and quickly then said he will do an abdominal ultrasound. (I've been told at 8 weeks, most docs do vaginal). Anyways, he did the ultrasound, found the sac and baby and immediately took the machine off my stomach (didn't confirm heartbeat) and said "come tomorrow for a vaginal ultrasound with my tech". Can you imagine how I felt? he spent only 3 minutes on my stomach & didn't communicate why I need to come back. He saw my reaction and said: "did I scare you?" umm YES. So that night, I slept in fear that I lost my baby. So we come back the next day (b/c they only do ultrasounds on Fridays - when the doc isn't there........), with the assumption I was doing a vaginal one. I asked the receptionist - should I have drank water today? She said yes, 32 oz. This is where I started getting furious. Neither the receptionist nor doctor the day before said I needed to drink water or expressed how to prepare. So here I am, chugging 24 oz before the ultrasound. I get in the room and they say: If something is wrong, you will go home empty handed (no picture) and the doctor will call you. If we find the baby and heartbeat, we will give you a picture. I mean.... talk about NERVES. Then she says she is doing an abdominal ultrasound. I was so upset. the doctor JUST DID ONE yesterday. He had us drive TWICE for the same ultrasound? WITHOUT ANY COMMUNICATION, I had no idea. Was he trying to bill us twice? Thankfully, they found a heartbeat. I asked about the quality of my uterus.... she said the doc will tell you. Guess what? I never heard from the doctor. Here is why I was upset about that: I switched the Care for Women's Medical Group with Dr. Toni Vu and she immediately found a fibroid. She talked me through the entire journey of pregnancy with a fibroid and what to expect and referred me to a perinatal doctor to monitor my high risk pregnancy. I can't believe I dealt with Dr. Elias for a few days, did not call me about the fibroid & never checked in again. It took me a few weeks to get comfortable sharing this. I don't like writing negative reviews, esp about someone's business. But after telling some friends, they did express that pregnancy is very lonely and uncertain. Doctors don't tell you everything - they expect you to ask the questions. It is important people know what they are getting before they go to a doctor. These spaces should feel comfortable and warm, not like you are just another person coming in an out the door. If you are someone who is nervous about your pregnancy, I would suggest not coming here. read more

I previously went to an OB in LA, but after moving to the Inland Empire last year, I wanted to find a doctor that was closer to me. I went to Dr. Elias because I read a few of the 5 star reviews, but I am truly disappointed and will not be going back! I went in for a regular women's exam and Dr. Elias told me he thought my IUD was out of place. I found that extremely odd because I just had ultrasound done two weeks prior and that doctor confirmed they could see my IUD and that it was in its proper place. Dr .Elias immediately suggested I should get it removed (because it not effective) and that I should not get it replaced, saying I need to give my uterus a "break" for at least 3-6 months. Which I also found very odd. I've only had my IUD in for a year and I really it. He then asked why I went with the Kyleena IUD, claiming it's not healthy for me to not have regular menstrual bleeding. He said if I did decide to get an IUD in after 6 months he'd recommend the copper one. For a first time visit, I felt like I was being told a lot of things were "wrong" and I was not being heard at all. I was very uncomfortable and the whole appointment felt weird. However, I reluctantly made my appointment to get my IUD removed before I left. After thinking about it some more, I decided to call the office and cancel that follow up appointment. I then made an appointment at my previous OB's office to get a second opinion. I just had that appointment yesterday and the female OB I met with was shocked to hear what Dr. Elias had said/suggested. Upon exam, she could immediately tell it was in the right place. To confirm, she even did internal AND external ultrasounds to make sure (something Dr. Elias did not offer to do). She showed me on the monitor how it was in the right place and reassured me I had nothing to worry about. She seemed very concerned with the misinformation and pushiness I experienced. This man couldn't even inform me that at 25 weeks my water had been broken and I was low on fluids. Pomona hospital was in constant communication with him while all my exams were being done and not once did he show up or call to see how I was. Absolutely disgusting service provided by this man that's suppose to be licensed. I am now in Loma kinda children's hospital I was admitted here two nights ago and have to be here until my baby is born. The dr here are amazing, they care and are actually doing their job unlike ELIAS. Don't let these reviews fool you. This OB is NO GOOD. Who knows how many poor mommies have could have prevented such things due to the indifference, inexperience and unprofessional service provided by this man. And on top of everything he has the audacity to call us to tell us that he is rejecting services to us because we missed his follow up... lmfaooo what a joke you are ANAS ELIAS. We REFUSE to accept your services anyway, it's not up to you, it's up to us, silly. Hopefully this causes you to improve your services and pay more attention to your patients. You're inconsiderate. I was transferred to Dr. Elias by my nurse practitioner for my last weeks of pregnancy. I was super nervous because unlike my first pregnancy that I was with my dr the whole journey I only met with dr Elias twice in his office before I gave birth but he made sure I was comfortable and was super attentive with me which made me feel good. He did an awesome job at the time of delivery and my post partum visits he has been amazing with answering all my questions and making sure I'm confident leaving my visits . I definitely recommend him and if in the future I do get pregnant again I'll be sure to go to him directly instead of going at the end like I did this time around . I'm also gonna say his nurse is awesome she has a lot on her plate because she's the front desk receptionist as well but she's always ontop of everything making sure your not waiting to long or feeling forgotten. I've been in places where I wait about two hours in the waiting room to be seen and I can say a big plus here is they're prompt with attending you at your appointment time . I'm not quite sure who exactly is writing those five-star reviews; my experience was anything but below one star! This is the experience of the first and the last visit to this office: When I came in a woman at the front desk took about 25 minutes to give out and check the two forms I needed to fill in. I gave her the card to pay the co-pay for the visit, and she was all over the place, trying to make a transaction and was failing because she was inputting the wrong amount a few times, complaining out loud like it's someone else's fault. Why do I need to hear it, I have my things to think about! Finally, she collected the co-pay, and without asking me where would I like to receive my receipt she pressed the "via phone number" option disregarding all other options that were on display. When I said that I would like to get my receipt via email, she said "well, the majority of the clients prefer phone". Did I ask her what the majority likes to do? I wanted it sent to my e-mail. Not a word of apologies. Then she started to tell me that I booked an appointment for the annual exam and I said I just want a regular checkup; she got really confused and started asking me what exactly my appointment is for in front of other people, I kept telling her that I'm there for just a regular check-up and not an annual exam (which includes so many more items than I really didn't want or didn't need to do). Of course, they get paid only if they perform certain tasks, so she tried to push a bunch of procedures on me at least 3 times while I was waiting. After a total of 30 minutes, I was invited to the room for the exam. This is not the most important thing but for those who care - the interior is very outdated and what's most important it wasn't too clean. When I finally sat in the chair, I didn't even want to put my feet up into the legs, because I saw the visible signs of dirt on them, like they were not washed for a year or something! But first thing first. Anas walked in (the so-called doctor); it was obvious from the first second that his mind was somewhere else; he immediately declared that I was there for the annual exam and for the fourth or fifth time I explained that I am there for a regular check-up because I am 6 months after delivery and want to do a check-up to see if everything is fine but I am not in need or do not wish to do all the items he is trying to push at me. He was also a bit creepy talking about breast exams. About 5 minutes into pushing me to do what I don't want to do as if he was not listening to me at all, he decided to ask me a few questions about my pregnancy during which he interrupted me several times without even trying to remember what I said and without showing any understanding of what I am looking for. At this point, I started to really doubt I want to be there anymore. I have explained to Anas that I was bleeding for the duration of four months after the delivery and I told him that I stopped bleeding in August, however, just a few minutes after I told him that he asked me if I'm still bleeding. Then he declared again that we do an annual exam! At this time, I just said I don't want to proceed with this appointment and wanted a refund of my co-pay. He went outside, and then told me they cannot refund it. So at that moment, I decided I'll try to get at least some kind of service and do a Pap smear and Anas was not gentle or polite while doing that, then he stormed out of the room, really awkward! The front desk woman happened to be a nurse and was in the room for a bit, but was just staring. I left afterward. It was one of the most frustrating experiences with yet another "protocol zombie" money-collecting "practice" of what used to be called medicine. Money lost, no service, and a ton of distress. I would not recommend this location to anyone unless you want to settle for subpar, unprofessional people who just want to collect your money but really don't care about you. read more

She was told to go to the hospital ASAP from him and told her he would meet her there to see further tests and was never there to help her. Everyone at that hospital and him are completely careless and neglected her and the babies needs. Anyways, she is now at Loma Linda where they have provided the care and needs she needed from her high risk pregnancy to help her save her child. unlike this man who did not even care about her or the baby. Met with Dr Elias when I was 23 weeks pregnant I was so thankful he took me on as his patient. He takes the time to address any questions and concerns during each visit, I never felt rushed. He delivered my baby girl on September 14th and I couldn't be happier with how he coached me through my delivery. It was my first time and he didn't give up on me.
