I purchased a 5 month old baby African Grey Timneh from Ana, our baby was shipped via cargo to us overnight. Bella arrived safely, Ana was in touch through the whole process. Bella is now almost 6.5 months and can already say a few words. For example, she mimics the smoke detector when the battery is low, she barks and growls like a dog. Bella also mimics the vacuum cleaner. She whistles and screams like the kids. I spray her everyday with water via a spray bottle, she now mimics the pumping sound of the bottle. She also says Bella and Hi - It's so cute! In the morning when everyone wakes up, Bella is immediately let out of her cage and uses the potty. She then fly's around the house a few times then back on top of her cage (while the kids are playing their game.) She mimics all the sounds that I've stated above and more. ALL DAY LONG! During the day she sits in the window on her perch and talks to her cousins outside (other random birds) lol The only time Bella is back into her cage is if we have to run an errand or I'm cooking, other than that she's running - YES - literally running when she see's me! or she is flying from the balcony to the lower level of the house and back upstairs onto her cage. I purchased a bird from Ana's Parrots and what I had seen was surprising; enough for me to put a review on Yelp. When you first arrive, the store looks clean and organized. Ana will go into the back, explain each bird, let you see it, and then return the bird to its cage, to get another one, if you request it. However, she left the bird room door open. One of her parrots staggered out with a cup of ale, wearing a pirate hat. I wondered what was going on, so I investigated the back and there were parrots playing cards, betting using different type of nuts as currency, and using the most profane language ever. Two birds even had the remote control to the back-room TV and was watching Re-runs of Lavern and Shirley repeating over and over again "Schlemiel! Schlimazel! Hasenpfeffer Incorporated!". When I thought I had finally seen enough, an Amazon that called himself, The Don, told me, that I need to buy a bag of seed and this was an offer I couldn't refuse. Usually I would dismiss something like this, but he was backed by about six Cockatoos with dark cold stares. I bought a bag of seed and left as soon as I could. What can I say? What a wonderful experience. I have been in the market for a baby conure for a long time. I am a first time bird owner and wanted to purchase from a place that was willing to be personable and answer all my questions. They also take their time with each customer, educating them and providing them with support. Ana spent a lot of time with us and helped us choose the perfect baby. She had 5 to pick from. I asked a lot of questions. They are so knowledgeable and answered all of questions. They sent me on the way with lots of food, plenty of good toys and a good cage. Their bird food is really wonderful and is unlike anything I can get at my local pet stores. My baby love the Uccello conure mix with pellets. I can't wait for our next toy visit. The place is very clean and well organized. Their birds are amazing and selection of feed, toys and supplies are endless and reasonably priced. There are sections among sections of bird cages, food, toys, dishes, and of course gorgeous birds to pick from. They truly care for the birds. My baby is so amazing. He is so sweet and tame. I had an appointment to see a bird at 9am and I showed up a half hour early. The front door was open, so I let myself in. I was overtaken by what I was witnessing. There were birds running around everywhere. Apparently, a Moluccan Cockatoo, names Spartacus, had freed all the other birds during the night. There were Hyacinth Macaws, attempting to round up the other freed birds, but Spartacus kept outsmarting them. I didn't realize how well parrots could speak; they were all chanting Spartacus, Spartacus, Spartacus. You could see that the Congos were trying to make weapons, but having wings, without thumbs, they just kept dropping everything and cursing. Eventually, a Toucan named Crassus, came in a quelled the bird uprising. They all returned to their cages. Ana then showed up at the store and seemed unphased. She said, usually, they are up all night watching Lavern and Shirly re-runs, drinking, and gambling. She said, they probably just got into the NettFlix account again and that they watched Brave-heart over an entire weekend once, and they all were insulting each other with Scottish accents by Monday. I purchased a baby blue and gold macaw from Ana's Parrots a few years ago.I was unable to pick it up due to the fact that I do not drive. Ana was nice enough to deliver the bird to me in NY. Over the years we stayed in touch, and she assisted me with any questions or concerns I had about my new feathered addition to my family. Recently to my devastation the bird managed to get away from me. I instantly contacted Ana and explained the situation. Without hesitation she jumped into action and posted my situation on all her contact boards and Facebook alerting everyone to be on the lookout for my beloved parrot. Ana suggested putting the bird's food out where it was visible to the bird and possibly would entice the bird to come down and eat. After a few days her suggestion paid off as the bird came down from it's place high in a tree and I was able to be reunited with my pet. I had a bird shipped from Ana's Parrots in November 2019. The quality of the bird was astonishing. I rarely post any reviews, because I expect a product to be acceptable to exceptional, but in this case, the quality of the product warranted a review. Unfortunately, on this site, it looks like the only review I can see is a negative one and more than 30 five-star reviews have been filtered, by obviously legitimate consumers. This is very odd that a review site would suppress many positive reviews, while only promoting a bad one. Take these negative reviews with a grain of salt, because if you dig into this page, you will find all her happy customers, because I am very happy with my purchase. If I get filtered too, then you know this game is rigged! Take the shot and buying from this breeder; she cares about her animals and produces a top-quality product. read more

I purchased a Congo African Grey baby from Ana's Parrots. I couldn't of asked for a better experience. She sent me updates with videos or pictures weekly of his progress for the three months she was hand feeding him . We had him shipped to us and she stayed with him through check in and until it was time to get on the plane. As soon as he was on the plane she called us to give us updates. When I picked him up he was in a hard plastic animal carrier with protective netting around it . He had plenty of food and water and she even attached a perch inside the crate that he sat on during the ride home. She also sent a bag of food that she had weaned him on . She checked in with me that night as soon as his plane landed to make sure he arrived to us safely. To this day she is still in contact with me checking in on his progress. Thank you Ana!! read more

I can not express how happy I am that I went with Ana for my Congo African Grey. He is so healthy and beautiful. You can tell a lot of time and care was put into this bird. Ana was more then helpful with every step of the process and made sure I understood everything. I have been doing lots of research online and I didn't get half the information as I did today to properly care for our new baby. We scheduled an appointment to pick him up the following day. YES AN APPOINTMENT. You don't have to buy a bird for thousands of dollars to get this treatment. The food choices, treat choices, everything "bird related" choices are just out of this world. Ana is amazing! I've gotten four beautiful, healthy and brilliant birdies from her. They were vetted with my Board Certified Avian vet and given a clean bill of health after all the bloodwork and disease testing. They love their veggies, nuts, pellets and treats!
