I hired Kenz Electric afterwards to fix things, and Chris did an extremely professional job down to the smallest details. He was very knowledgeable in compliance with codes and laws, and is fully certified and insured. Electrical work isn't something to skimp out or play around with, and Kenz Electric gave me the confidence in knowing that it was all done properly. Furthermore, Their rates are very reasonable (especially considering they're licensed and insured), and the response time was quick. I'm planning on having more electrical work done in the future (adding electrical lines for security cameras), and I'm going straight back to Kenz Electric. The special was $199. I waited 5 weeks for an appointment. When they came they opened my air handler and said they could not do the cleaning today unless I paid another $200 to sanitize because they saw bacteria. Okay. You should have told me that before I waited 6 weeks to get an appointment. I ended up paying the extra because my husband was having allergies. He pulled the washer out, I dont know why. I thought he was getting to the dryer vent. A week later my dryer wasn't drying properly so my husband went on the roof to check the vent for the dryer that was supposed to be cleaned. What he found was a2 inch glob of dryer lint. They didn't even clean the vent. So not only did they "trick" me into another $200 but they didn't even do the job they came for. Never again! Will not recommend them.

All communication was with Jason the owner…read more CEC installed an electrical panel for us. It started with them quoting us $2500 then changing the price to $3500. They then installed the electrical wiring externally around our patio when we requested it to be wired through our attic (standard practice according to other local electric companies). They told us no. The wiring was not attached to house, buckled out infront of our patio door and was a fall hazard. I asked the owner to return to properly attach to house and he said no, we'd have to pay extra for that. Edison came out to reconnect their wire ( running from electrical pole) to our roof and told us the way CEC had connected it was a MAJOR FIRE RISK. the wiring could have slipped out of the tape they used and lit our house on fire. To top it off, the owner of CEC threatened to put a lien on our house if we didn't pay right away after I kindly requested he attach the external wiring to house because it was a fall hazard, before paying. CEC WAS/IS A NIGHTMARE. DO NOT HIRE THEM!
