After reporting a furnace issue (ignitor continually activating after burner was ignited and blower…read morerunning) to my home warranty company, they sent a contractor technician. He diagnosed that the blower needed to be replaced. (I am a certified aero engineer, so am familiar with ignition and burner systems) When questioned about the continuously activating ignitor, he indicated that the continuously running ignitor was "normal." When I sowed him online that the continuously activating ignitor was not normal and could be dangerous, he didn't 52 minutes researching Google on his cell phone and did not change his diagnosis or estimate fir cleaning the fan and replacing the blower that was working fir an additional $240 over the warranty's initial service fee. I called highly recommended Air Systems Solutions in Ventura, CA who arranged for a technician visit the next day. He was very courteous and did a very thorough job and replaced the ignition panel. Aside from the part itself, the service fee was less than half of the original contractor's estimate. Highly recommend work from Air Systems Solutions in Ventura CA.

Responded promptly to my initial contact, through multiple visits and calls (I am an engineer) worked with me (lots of knowledgeable suggestions and recommendations but never pushing anything on me) to come up with the system best for my needs. Ended up at the low end of four bids from HVAC contractors. Complete replacement of old HVAC system with state of the art heat pump system, removed all of the old duct work and installed the new system with meticulous attention to detail, making sure everything was just right. At the end of the week, a bit sad to see him go. That's when you know you have the right person looking out for you. I would use SB Heating and Air 100 times before even thinking about looking elsewhere. You can't go wrong here.

Called the original company... they came out and said the coil broke and the cost to repair would be $4,700... I am naturally a trusting person... but something seemed entirely wrong! I was told... only call Brad's company... which I promptly did. First off, Home Furnace Company gives you an appointment time... 10am is 10am... not a window of 5 hours! Brad came out, assessed the issue, fixed it on the spot (needed coolant) the total cost was $435!!! The other company was greater than 10X!!! Never received a detailed estimate, despite calling and asking several times, just a bill for well over $100. When I called to complain I was treated in an incredibly nasty way by their receptionist. She threatened legal action against me if we didn't pay up immediately. When I negatively reviewed them on google the owner responded back that this was a fake review and to ignore it. No accountability, just bilking us out of our hard-earned money for nothing, IN MY OPINION (I have to say this because, according to at least one other negative review posted online, they threaten to bring suit against unhappy customers who report poor service) . I hope they've taken these criticisms into account and behave more professionally and considerately these days. Just can't forget the awful treatment. Caveat emptor.
