Food was great - had the impossible burger and the garlic fries and wow, the fries are amazing with a creamy garlic sauce. I'll be thinking of these when I am in the mood for fries. Bloody Mary was excellent. Good portion and great taste. I would have loved more olives but that was just because they were sooo good! Service was great. Place is cramped in space but accommodating. Anchor has some pretty good food and a really fun vibe. Our server was so much fun and, despite how crazy busy the place was, she worked hard to be attentive. They have an extensive list of draft beers, though it leans far too heavily on sours and overly-hopped ales, but that's nit picking on my part. A couple of things stopped me from giving this place full marks: -- After we got our food, our server disappeared and we couldn't get anyone's attention for another round of beer or to do something about the fries, which were cold and tough. -- There was an upcharge for EVERYTHING. We even got charged for the extra dab of salsa my wife needed for her tacos. Still, I'd go back. It's a fun place and everyone was friendly. read more

They claim their food is "doggone good." Maybe they had Rin Tin Tin in mind as the customer. I left a 20% tip on $75.50 bill for the pleasant server. The Baja fish tacos were revolting..topped with browning coleslaw, stiff tortillas and refried fish. The garlic fries had clearly been cooked and cooked and cooked again. Without exaggeration the worst plate of food I've ever been served in this town. Stopped for dinner here while in the area camping on the recommendation of a friend. I have mixed feelings about the place but mostly positive. Will start with the positives first. Positives: - Great menu with lots of options. - Mac and cheese with chicken was enjoyed by my daughter. - Husband liked the fish and chips but said the batter got a little soft from the steam of the fish. - Their garlic Parmesan fries are absolutely amazing, could eat those every day. - Our server Veronica was super sweet and helpful. Negatives: - My cocktail was rather bland for $9. - The Alfredo sauce on the chicken bacon fettuccine might as well have been water. They need to use the garlic Parmesan sauce on the fries for the pasta instead. Would be delicious. - We initially we're going to sit outside, but the flies were so bad that we asked to have a table inside instead. The flies were just as bad inside as they were outside. Overall, the meal was good and the service was even better. We'd definitely go back and try it again, but I do not recommend the chicken bacon fettuccine. read more

I moved to Twin Falls about three years ago and found that there are limited options for great food and beverages in the area. However, when I first visited this establishment, I was impressed by the fresh, delicious food and the excellent selection of wines. After visiting three or four times, I was very disappointed on my last visit. I arrived on a Saturday afternoon when it wasn't very crowded. My favorite spot is the bar, where the servers are usually nice and polite. However, during this visit, as the servers were switching shifts, a female server entered the bar area and used vulgar language, including frequent use of the "F-bomb." This behavior was unprofessional and inappropriate, especially in front of patrons. Once she started her shift, she ignored everyone at the bar and appeared rude and unfriendly. She spent most of her time interacting with other staff members who were sitting at a side table, conversing and drinking. It was hard to tell who was working and who wasn't, as staff members kept walking in and out of the kitchen, showing a clear lack of customer service. To make matters worse, the bar server not only ignored us but also joined her colleagues at the side table and consumed a shot of alcohol while on duty. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also potentially dangerous as it can impair job performance. I find this highly unprofessional and believe it tarnishes the establishment's reputation. While I understand that working in the service industry is challenging and I respect those who do it, using the workplace as a personal playground and drinking on the job is unacceptable. It is equivalent to stealing from the owner and the business. This just tarnished by view of the staff and the business, and I hope when they read the review the owner takes this matter seriously. Most employees would be let go from their job of this type of behavior. I hope the uppper management takes this seriously moving forward. Thank you. read more

Simply put: overrated bar that serves food. This place seems to lure a lot of people in due to the word "Bistro" being in the name. There was nothing Bistro about it. Typical sports bar with typical sports bar interior, serving typical sports bar food. I would look past all that except the food was also just typical. Nothing special. I ordered "Habanero" wings with fries. To no surprise, they were of the Sysco type. Nothing Habanero about them, not one bit spicy. Just sad, sticky and extremely sweet. Tried to go for sweet potato fries, no dice. So the fries I got were regular soggy and sad fries. The "fry sauce" just tasted like mayo with a dab of ketchup. Portions were kind meh too. I'm not a big boi but I eat like an adult and the sizing was sorta blah. At least they didn't f* up the drinks. Beers were cold and fairly priced for the most part. Bright side, the waitress was nice enough and we were in and out in less than 1 hour. Which wasn't terrible considering it was dinner rush. Come here to drink, not if you're looking to grab an actual meal. read more

Outstanding service, amazing whiskey sour and excellent food suggestions from our server. I forgot his name but he had a great smile, black curly hair, didn't have to write anything down and got everything perfect for us. He was also super accommodating to our toddler. Everything came out quickly too, I believe we came towards the end of happy hour so it started out a little crowded inside but speed of service, food/drink quality was awesome and I only wish we lived closer to be able to attend this restaurant more frequently.
