I hired Anchor to inspect our home before the upcoming expiration of our builder's warranty. Heath was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He arrived on time and had already inspected the roof before I even realized he was there. He answered all of my questions and his report was very thorough. He offered to answer any questions that came to me after he left, even if it was two years down the road. The final report was given to me in hardcopy and digital format, which simplified transferring repair requests to the builder. I can't even begin to describe how reassuring it was to have Heath complete our home inspection. Heath made the entire experience pleasant, starting with his quick and prompt communication. He understood my difficulty in scheduling the inspection, as we purchased the home from a seller who had a family renting the property at the time we were under contract. Heath was patient and helpful as we worked to get a time slot worked out. The day of the home inspection, he thoroughly and methodically completed the inspection. It was evident that he had a very planned out process to follow and was intent on covering all aspects of the inspection without missing anything. Once finished with the inspection, he took the time to complete the entire write up and report on site. He walked me through his most important findings, and explained everything I had questions about. There was never a time when he made me feel like my questions or concerns were a bother, as this was my first home buying experience and I had quite a few. The report he provided to me there at the home was 92 pages long and contained even more photos. His report was organized and easy to follow, with very detailed notes throughout. Heath also followed up with me a day after the inspection to make sure that I didn't have any additional questions or concerns. He has made himself available to offer advice and guidance should I come across anything that I find in the report in the future. Prior to using Heath, we used another inspection agency with a high amount of reviews. We figured, a company with a lot of reviews would be the best. This was not the case, we spent more money, received the inspection report one day later and the follow up communication was horrible. We decided not to go with that house and continued searching for another home. We wanted to use another inspection company and came across Heath. He is truly the best and you will not regret using his services. I called him on Monday and my inspection was completed on Tuesday. I received the report 1 hour after the inspection was completed. Once I scheduled the appointment over the phone, I received a well detailed email outlining the work that he would perform, advised me when to arrive at the property to go over his findings, provided me an option to be present during the inspection process, the type of report to expect and how it is organized, and many other details. I arrived at the appointed time to meet with Heath. He provided a printed summary report and later emailed a highly detailed 56-page electronic report. His report was well organized and provided pictures of items he identified that required attention. Heath went over all the problem areas grouped in order of severity and made recommendations where appropriate. I asked many questions as I am not familiar with this process. Heath was patient with me and explained further in areas where I needed some hand-holding. A day after the inspection, Heath sent me a follow-up email to check to see if I had any questions and to remind me that he available to answer any additional questions.
